There’s a new voice interaction where Sigma asks Lucio if he can turn the volume up since he likes his music because it’s distracting, the poor man doesn’t want to keep hearing the voices in his head.
i feel so bad for this old man when i hear voicelines with other Talon members who treat him sarcastically, insultingly and even aggressively. they're literally using him for their awful purposes, but he can't do anything and doesn't even understand who are they. my man just deserves good help to become normal again, not all these terrible things going on with him

@@bonelesschickennuggets1868 well, she's a hacker and an information broker, so i think she knows a lot more about his past than the others and sympathizes with him. she even tries to protect him in some way. there's a voiceline, Sigma tells her about some experiment with Moira and she answers something like "if they gonna do something with you, old man, better let me know". so, for me, their relationship is like "grandchild and grandfather", even if it sounds stupid. i hope Blizzard will give him some character development in future PvE stories.

You can actually hear voices on kinetic grasp too! She aying "hold it together" but it's a little hard to hear because of his grunting and the sounds of the ability
Yes I could always hear these and I think that's why it was such a cool character. You could hear the voices that he was hearing while he was just tryna do regular hero stuff lol. OW sound design team is goated
He should have a passive where if someone is aiming at him from behind he hears a whisper, "they see you" or when he's low on health he starts hearing, "they're going to get you" Blizzard could go ham with this
He's got a bunch of cool little details, like how his melody is in the key of B flat, which is also the key the readings of a black hole when translated to sound are in
i don't think he's actually insane. Tracer can travel between dimensions so at a glance it looks like Sigma's alternative selves are just able to communicate with one another. The BIG issue is which one is currently in our dimension. The one that preaches violence seems to come out when he ults but I wonder if he'll turn on Talon. Playing the "innocent victim" until the time is right. Then again the lore moves at a snails pace so who knows. They never put out any novels so we're stuck guessing.

the MOST interesting character, there are more with all his abilities and even some interactions with other characters tbh i think blizzard peaked making sigma

They actually toned it down. When it was released it was actually a lot louder. One day, they just turned it down. There was a lot of "sigma's creepy" posts on reddit and on comments in videos.

My favourite thing to do with his ult is burn it when someone boops me off a cliff to get back on, kinda as a middle finger. These laughs make it more appropriate.
Sigma has developed multiple different personalities from the exposure to the black hole he created; those background voices would be what Sigma would hear inside his own head
id like to think the black hole has warped his brain, or that his brain is shifting between different timelines. Dissociative Identity Disorder (the real name of multiple personality disorder) doesnt really seem like it suits him, though it is possible, he wouldn’t be a great representation of it.
Its actually kinda unnerving since it seems that he may have disassociative identity disorder, my guess is cause of the multiple different laughters during his ult and the whispers in his head

Thank you for this video, I have psychosis and I love sigma as a character, he's wacky in similar ways to me (obviously for characterization purposes, he is a lot more over the top) not gonna lie when I saw this I thought you were mentioning his voice lines when using his black hole. So I didn't notice the voices I was hearing were coming from the video until I heard his ultimates voices and laughs. It's... Nice to be understood.

The rock was so loud in my ears when I got a new headset (playing OW1) It would actually bother me to the point of not playing him, I always thought there was a reaper, I was being called to do something, general annoyance But I've gotten used to it now
