    Hey! Great to see you are still working on all of PHM's awesome stuff. I honestly have never considered running through Mair's plays in a loop. Great stuff.

    Is this song from Death Note or is it a classical piece that I'm unaware (and should know) of?

    Real spear art is far better than "spear rotation" of Shaolin Kung Fu : ).

      Shhhh don't speak of asian blasphemy on European arts.

      Careful now, you start talking about anything even remotely East Asian and you'll attract all the katana kommandos.
      "It was called pig iron because it was strong enough to slice through a thousand pigs before getting dull."
      Or because it was just bad iron.

      Daniel Thompson Ya, everyone knows that all katanas are made from scales of the dragon god, mixed with shards of his holy diamond\gold tooth.

      Alexander Anderson Yes and you can't forget about the magic that Masamune put on all katanas that ever existed after he made his first one; You know, the magic that renders all other fighting styles and weapons utterly useless against it? Man I gotsta get me one of those things, I just hope the powers of battle and honor will deem me worthy enough to wield one

      Daniel Thompson Ya we all know that everything asian is vastly more superior because it's magical. A weak man that even passes by a dojo is can now crush mountains beneath the mighty weight of his balls and vaporize oceans with his manly gaze.

    a thousand times better than kung-fu "spear techniques".

    Very nice, but from a combat point of view the footwork is too slow, but other than that a well made video

    • @MontyChance
      @MontyChance  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      The footwork is as it is described in Mair's work.

    • @AngloSaxon1
      @AngloSaxon1 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      That maybe so, but with footwork like that you couldnt be confident that what you are doing is real.

    • @MontyChance

      That's a ridiculous statement to make.
