    The x22i and x32i have very similar features. The main differences are outlined below:
    Treadmill Features
    X22i has a 22” HD Touchscreen
    X32i has a 32” HD Touchscreen
    Aside from size, both touchscreens function the same. The consoles have been updated in 2021 so they are faster with reduced buffering time. The updated Android 9 OS system is also faster and more responsive.
    The touchscreen works well even with sweaty hands. Much of the functionality of the treadmill is embedded in the touchscreen, which cleans up the console nicely and reduces visual clutter.
    The HD screen brings the outdoors to you via abundant iFit routes you can run all over the world. The size and graphics of the screen are impressive and really make you feel like you are right there, running alongside the trainer.
    Quiet Drive Incline Tech
    The new models have an even quieter incline drive so there is very little noise at all as the treadmill inclines and declines through various speeds.
    +40% Incline to -6% Decline
    Additional incline adds more training variables to your routine. If you want to work hard but stay low-impact, you can engage one of the higher incline settings and still get a great workout without having to run.
    Incline training also engages glutes and hamstrings by changing the angle of the body. Training at multiple incline levels helps balance anterior and posterior muscle groups to offset quad dominance or knee tightness from too much pull on the IT band.
    Reflex™ Cushioning in deck
    Reflex cushioning absorbs a significant amount of the impact from running. When running on a non-cushioned surface (like outdoors), the impact force of each downward step can be up to double a runner’s weight. When not cushioned, a runner’s joints and spine absorb most of this impact.
    A support system under the deck allows a few inches of travel to absorb foot impact. While the deck is sturdy, providing a stable surface for good form and a strong toe-off, springs underneath the platform cushion the impact from each step.
    Reflex cushioning not only protects the body from joint impact, it also reduces impact fatigue, which means you can workout harder and longer without getting injured.
    30 day NordicTrack iFit® Family membership with iFit
    You now get up to 5 free profiles with the included iFit membership that is free for the first month.
    iFit is NordicTrack’s workout database of over 16,000 workouts both on and off the treadmill. Users can access studio-based classes or follow along on an outdoor route guided by a personal trainer.
    The Bluetooth chest strap syncs with iFit so your heart rate is displayed on the screen. Heart rate is monitored throughout the workout and recorded in your stats. This facilitates accurate heart rate training or zone training.
    Running, walking, and combo options are available along with various classes that feature strength training, HIIT workouts, and even stretching and yoga.
    X22i has a 4.0 CHP DurX™ Commercial Plus Motor with 22” x 60” Tread belt
    X32i has a 4.25 CHP DurX Commercial Plus Motor with 22” x 65” tread belt
    Bluetooth® Compatible with Wireless Headphones and Two 3” Digitally Amplified Speakers
    A recent update by iFit now allows you to connect to wireless headphones so you can listen without disturbing those around you.
    You can also sync your phone via Bluetooth to play your music through the treadmill speakers if you prefer. The two digitally amplified speakers provide clear sound and have multiple volume options.
    Dual AutoBreeze™ Workout Fans
    Two fans provide good air flow with minimal noise. There are three settings and an auto-mode (where fan speed corresponds to belt speed). Fans are a good height.
    One Touch® Controls on Console with updated Live Control feature
    Preset speed controls line the right side of the console with incline buttons on the left. These display large numbers which are easy to read and reach, so you can quickly adjust speed and incline when needed.

    NOTE: This product works exactly as described. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxguEIMc_Qwab-3QMTpF6jaRL80hiOOsIN It originally earned a four-star review due to a minor defect (see below). However, the manufacturer's customer service rep (Lita) went above and beyond the call of duty and deserves five stars now. I wish I could give even more!I purchased this item which arrived quickly. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. There was only one problem: One bolt did not screw into the hole properly. I called the company. Their customer service rep (Lita) was terrific! She took all my information and submitted a request to replace the defective part. I'm hoping to finish assembly and start using this treadmill soon. (Fingers crossed...)FOLLOW UP: Lita called back to inform me that the company will send a replacement part AND a technician(!!) to install it properly. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you!!

    Spoiler Alert!! Please exercise caution and sound judgement before buying this product. Their customer support is ignorant and you will likely regret it in weeks if not days. You pay so much for it and there is absolutely nothing you can do once you’ve bought it and face these issues. First they shipped the treadmill in parts it took 3 or 4 months. Then I had billing issues. They billed me twice saying they were sending a second one since the first shipment had missing parts, it took forever to resolve and now the belt does not move. Good luck if you do decide to buy it. I own one and now I feel stuck with it. The belt stopped moving in 6 months and in under 400 miles that I’ve used it for. If you do magically manage to get to help desk - they will literally ask you to open console (which is ridiculous), they use self service concept through a video app. If something happens they don’t even respond to your calls/emails. I dread the music they play when you wait for help and worst thing is they try to sell you more stuff while you’re on hold for hours. 😅 holy macaroni!

  • @erichlund
    @erichlund 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I noticed that when running on the X22i, you were much closer to the rear of the belt, to the point a couple of times I felt like uh-oh... It seems like just a little inattention and you could more easily get in trouble. I'm 6' 1" and have proportionally long legs, so I'm glad we decided on the X32i.

    • @TreadmillReviewGuru
      @TreadmillReviewGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I'm glad our reviews are helpful. Our reviewer Matthew is 6'5" and he can used the x22i or x32i comfortably. They both provide plenty of space. Your biggest consideration is going to be ceiling clearance. The x32i inclines to 34" off the floor at the full 40% incline, so add that to the height of your tallest user and then we suggest another 12-18" of clearance for bounce while running, etc. As long as your ceilings provide enough headspace, he should have plenty of room on the treadmills themselves.
      As far as ellipticals go, we'd recommend either the Sole E35i or the Nordictrack Commercial 14.9. We DO NOT recommend the FS10i or FS14i as these ellipticals can rock significantly when used by larger individuals.

    Decided to go with the X22i My wife preferred the better storage / water bottle access. She also didn't want to pay the extra $1200 ish for the 32i. I on the other hand would have gone with the X32i hands down because of the bigger screen. I do not see myself adjusting the settings so much that the lower controls would have mattered. Not preloaded. There is a "hack" you can use to access the Android tablet directly and then download various apps. There are several other videos (not ours) on TH-cam that describe how to do this. It can impact the functionality of the machine since iFit has to be running in the background at the same time, so do some research on this beforehand if you are interested.

    Just wondering how tall you are? I'm 5'9" and I like the placement on the 22, being higher. I wonder why the 32 has the screen so low? I like to look straight ahead when I run, better posture. How does it feel to you?

    • @TreadmillReviewGuru
      @TreadmillReviewGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good question! I am 5'5" and one of my issues with the x32i is the screen is rather low. Because it is so large, it isn't overly noticeable - it fills your line of vision. However, the control panel beneath the screen is set rather low as well. For taller users, I imagine this would be an issue, especially when the deck is inclined - this lifts you up, further from the screen & control panel.
      One of the reasons I prefer the x22i is because the screen placement feels more natural to me.

  • @RachelPenningtonHull

    Hello, I just returned the 2021 x22i. My main concern was that the crossbar interferes with my arm
    Swing while hiking and walking fast. I was recovering from foot surgery so I was not able to run but what I did gel as the incline and speed increased was a feeling that I needed more length behind me. Notice where the console supports are seated back further than the X32i . Also note that the crossbar on the x32i is curved up. I think the placement of the crossbar on the x22i gets in the way. I’m 6’ tall and 173 lbs. I just wish I felt better to give it a longer more thorough test . It was also noisier than the previous X22i I sent back due to damage on delivery. I ordered over the holidays and had to wait 45 days before it was delivered . I think ithe first one was used . The high demand during the pandemic and short staffed delivery companies wreaked havoc on the process.

      Assembly is not overly difficult. It takes two people and around two hours. We assemble all of our treadmills ourselves here at the studio. • @TreadmillReviewGuru

      That is true, from our understanding of that "void the warranty" statement from NordicTrack, if your garage is a dedicated and well ventilated space then you should be good to go. But if you're putting your treadmill in the garage next to the lawn mower or something like that, that's where your warranty will void. Let me know if you have any follow up questions on that.
