- My CT6 with full custom 3” stainless steel exhaust with performance cats and custom dyno tune. Video taken on iPhone 11 Pro approximately 8’ away. Was interrupted because it was insanely loud so I couldn’t take any rev shots lol

What engine? What’s the part number for the muffler?
Is this a 3.0TT ?
No need for dual 3 inch pipes. There is no HP gain to be had and it gets very drony inside. I've put dual 2 inch, muffler delete, on a 2016 CTS 3.6 with 335HP naturaly aspirated, and its much quieter and again , "no loss or gain "in speed at the drag strip. Some long dual glasspacks are a must to smooth out the drone for daily driving. Uupgraded air cleaner (KN cold air induction) will give much better boost in HP gains. Proven and verifed at the drag strip. Stock mufflers are now reinstalled. Tried cutoffs with a bypass and they seized up after 6 months. Sure they sound cool for a short while, but found it really wasn't worth the trouble to modify the factory dual exhaust. Stick with cold air inductions upgrades and PCM tune which are biggest bang for your buck for the average enthusiast.
This is an old video. I’ve actually upgraded to 3.5” titanium exhaust and 4” titanium cold air intake. I gained 33whp after a good tune. I got the car tuned 3 times actually, and I definitely feel the difference in throttle response.
@@antoniomurillo8904 You still did not mention what year and engine in this CT6. I think they upgraded the 2019 year to 409 hp with twin turbo. How they accomplished that could be they installed larger turbos. Todays CT5 V 3.0 twin turbo AWD model seem vastly detuned to 360 HP.
2016-2019 CT6 Models:
2.0L 8AT: Equipped with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine, producing 269 horsepower
3.0L V6 8AT AWD: Powered by a 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engine, generating 409 horsepower
3.6L V6 8AT AWD: Features a 3.6-liter V6 gasoline engine, delivering 340 horsepower
Any 0-60 or 0-100 would be nice to see
Would be nice to see on a drag actually. I’ve only ever done highway or street
