Can we just take the time to appreciate this guy's effort to cover everything about these two speakers! Thank you so much for this video as I have been on the search for a very affordable and very portable Bluetooth speaker, and I must say that the Soundcore 2 has got my finger on the trigger tempted to confirm my purchase for 2 of them so that I can pair them as I learned while looking into the Soundcore 2 specifically.🤔 I will let you know if I made the purchase and get back to ya on how I feel about the sound quality 🙂 Once again thank you for a very informative review on these two great speakers! you've definitely earned my like, share, and sub 👍🏼
Got mine today and i have to admit that yes the bass and treble lacks and only voice part is loud. This is why a lot of reviews say it’s best for podcasts. Sure, if you’re after Something that won’t disturb your neighbors and just wanna listen to some things in your bedroom, it’s perfect. If you want to really listen to music, your housemate may wake up because of the loud voice level, in a song, you may have to turn things louder than necessary to be able to hear the bass and treble but you’ll end up with loud singing voice so…. No middle ground

It's a much better experience if you have 2 (or more) of them paired. These types of speakers benefit from the use of an equalizer on the source device to tune the sound. They can really punch when you crank it. Walmart has a discount on these the moment. 5.00 off the black, 9.00 on the colored ones that are more expensive. I bought 2 of the teal color.
Thank you for this very good review. I know the sound of the Bose unit so decided to listen to your review of the Anker SoundCore 2, your review brought me to making the decision. It was just over £30 I think it will meet my expectations.
I had a usb skullcandy barricade... it was awesome for years and the usb recently gave out. It was a nice personal speaker with amazing bass and decent battery. I might buy another one after watching a bunch of bluetooth speaker reviews
I have a question about the outputs... could you in theory send the sound to a guitar amp cabinet? I know that would drain the battery fast, but could you do it?
@@orlandopockets6372 Thats a 4 month old comment you're replying to, bot. Already done it, and it works just fine. But thanks for your feigned interest.
I don’t remember them all but IP rating is better on v2, newer Bluetooth version and higher output power. The v3 is even better and carries the Soundcore brand (part of Anker)
geni.us/score3 --- This should take you there. It's an affiliate link so it won't cost you any more but it will support the channel. Alternatively, just search for Anker Soundcore 3. It came out a few months ago so there's plenty of info out there.
Hey man just want to ask if I have the budget for either of the two, which one should I go with? If you can give a straightforward answer that'll be great. Thanks a lot!
Between the Bose and the Anker? The Bose sounds better so, as this is a speaker and if money is no object, go with the Bose. It's not waterproof though.
Just what I was looking for! Had the Bose soundlink for 3 years, amazing speaker, but left it out in the rain and now it's died :( Im looking at the Anker now due to price.
I did have to laugh at the idea that i was listening to your speakers being recorded via your shotgun uploaded and processed by youtube to be downloaded via my xaiomi then bluetoothed to my fake Flip-6 and after all that I with tinnitus in full swing am supposed to make some sort of comparison between the Bose & Anker .. that and being told its great value at a sale price (currently the Anker is £43 so no idea if it's still great value or not) i should have listened to the very end but I was soooo keen to rant I just couldn't wait
Do people actually listen to "music" like this one you tested? It is so hard to find someone who tests speakers playing real music, like made with acoustic instruments
I have a DINDIN bluetooth speaker, I really like the sound quality, the lighting, it makes me happy every time I use it, I have had it for a year, and this product deserves more love.
These damn reviews crack me up. They keep talking about the bass. Of course a little speaker like this is not going to have bass like a sub-woofer. I am more concerned with the voice quality I can get for videos and movies.
Of course they won't but it's amazing how well rounded the sound can be from devices like this, including low-end response. I agree with you that people obsess about 'bass' but it's still a valid check.
Sorry hardly bass in this, you can hear it just not kicking hard, is like a soft bass. I rather got myself my sony XB3 back. THe speaker is volume is low not loud enough for movies.
None of these little bluetooth speakers are going to give awesome sound. It is impossible due to the tiny drivers in them. Think good enough. Anker and Tribit both do a great job in the low end of the market.
By awesome he means full, huge filling sound. He doesn't mean they don't sount great. But in order to fully fill the range of all frequencies, larger speakers are necessary. For very low frequencies, 12" subs are needed, all the different sizes work together. That's why he said think good enough because they do all they can with the small space, which is still very good
Just bought it an the sound is absolutely garbage. Now in process of sending it back .it even says its on 10%its been on charge for 5 hours with the cable given. Have tried ot with nintendo switch.tablet s5. An s21. All 3 with hardly no sound its muzzle outs..very disappointed
@@pat9532 he said the one you got specifically is faulty, but the speaker generally is not garbage. And he knows this is not £200, he is saying it should be a fairly good value for what it costs

Which one do you recommend this Soundcore 2 or the Tronsmart T2 Plus?
How is the microphone with TEAMS or Zoom calls?
Damn, missed the giveaway. Bought one through your link instead! Hope you get a good kickback, this was a great review.
Thanks Matt! Much appreciated.
Decent review, cheers. Got one for 25 quid. Last one gave up the ghost. Have a few Anker products an never been disappointed.
Wow! I learned a lot about my “in the works”purchase. Thank you very much for the informative video. 👍
Hi - can you tell me, is the range sufficient that if my mobile phone is downstairs and I'm upstairs, I'll be able to take incoming calls?
I have paired 2 Anker Soundcore speakers. They are fantastic. I am so jazzed! Love the sound!!!
Where are the tracks you mentioned? I would love them!
Please can someone tell how to connect two speakers via Bluetooth?I try everything...not work
I really like your honesty, it comes through on the video, Subscribed
My anker if i set the volume to 50% but the sounf is like a 10% what is the solution to fix this problem

There are no audio outputs on this tiny little speaker so no way José. You cannot do it. 🚫

Cheers man pulling the trigger on one Tuesday 👍

Thanks a lot for this test 👍

tbh the Anker kinda sounds more 'full' imo

there is a strong delay through aux when using the anker, its a perfect bluetooth speaker but the aux is awful.

The Anker can go to the end of the world and steel have battery. 😁
