Yay! A new Beastie Room video! Love, love, love it! I never thought about a spider’s emotions before but she really did come across as unhappy. She laid those eggs and it seemed like she was fretting over them. I could almost hear her saying, “ this just won’t do. Not a good place for babies.” I think she will be a lot happier in her new enclosure. I am excited to see her story unfold. Thanks Dave and Camera Lady. I hope you all have a lovely end to your week!🙂

Very interesting to see what happens with this setup. I love how you explain what happens during the video, very fascinating. Very few people can "read" the behavior of their spiders like you do i think. Very cool. As always great video, excellent footage. Looking forward to see how this works out. Thanks for sharing. great vid..... my female did EXACTLY THE SAME with the little eggs in January... she ate them the very same day... never knew what happened... but two month later (just a few weeks ago) she molted and maybe, just maybe, that was the cause.... maybe she was thinking "if I molt I can not take care of the eggs so I better ate them" ....... this hobbie is hard with so little information for most species.
Absolutely LOVE your videos. Just one request. PLEASE get an external mic. I’d even buy you one. A lapel mic would be perfect and it would REALLY enhance the audio of your vids. Right now, the volume is all over the place, from vid to vid, and when coming from just about any other channel, the audio problems just really stand out. Again, absolutely no shade, I adore you. Great video as always Dave!! I love the fact you have a personal relationship with each of your spiders and you're always learning more about them, not just the genus, but learning the individual spider. It's awesome. You Keep it up, and I'll keep watching and learning. My favorite is still the runaway that went up your sleeve..That was great
I kept my first one bone dry w/ a water bowl, and she never seemed to do well. She would hang out around that moist corner. Then we had blizzards and power outages last year in Texas, and she had a bad molt some time later, and didn't make it. I kept my 3 slings dry, but noticed when I'd moisten a corner, they would hang out there (just like my AF). So, I bought 3 more slings, set them up with a sand drainage layer. I put down some screen, and then some normal soil, and they didn't like that the soil would feel damp. So, I topped the soil with some piece of slate, and they are bigger now then my first 3 slings (they 6 months younger). This got me thinking 🤔. So I looked up weather data for where they're from, and it is bone dry; like proper desert: sand dunes, cactuses, etc. However, it's a peninsula in the Caribbean, so it's got like 90% humidity most of the year. When I rehoused my first 3 slings, I set them up in a humid enclosure (w/ dry substrate), and they are more active and healthy looking now. So all 6 are doing much better with a humid enclosure, than when I was keeping them bone dry.
Ok so. They have dry land with so much humidity in their natural habitat that they are sustained thats interesting so the trick now how do we keep it humid without being super moist maybe a timed humidifier that goes off every half hour for like 2 to 3 min maybe?
@@L.V.exoticpets Dave actually has a really good video on humidity, it's the reference I use for my enclosures and has worked really for me, I have achieved good humidity without my enclosures being damp. Definitely worth checking out if you havent already.
Wonderful video. Really nice to show an example of why it's important to pay attention to behaviors. Species research can be a good tool, but there is no rule book when it comes to individual care. I always observe and make changes, based on what each of my spiders is "telling" me they need.
If you havent already...can you please make a video where you put a still video camera on a spider in a new box and film her for a few days, as long as it takes for them to web up their enclosure. And then timelapse the whole video from start to finish so we can see how it looks. I would like to see that. Thanks Professor Dave Beasties. You are awesome 😎🤩❤🦆
Greetings Dave, another great re-house mate. I would have to say, apart from the Theraphosa's this would be my next favorite. The colour's are just stunning. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for that video Dave🙏👍‼️ We don't keep ours "bone dry" . We just let overflow the water dish once a week or every two. And all of our 7 GBB's are doing super well . I’m getting my first GBB tomorrow so I’ve been looking up traditional methods and watching as many videos as I can to get a reference on how to properly house them, this video was by far the most helpful, for the humidity issue while keeping the substrate dry I am setting my enclosure up like you would with a bio-active enclosure, clay balls on the bottom with a screen on top for irrigation in hopes that if I water one section of the enclosure/ occasionally overflow the water dish the excess water will seep through the clay balls and add humidity more evenly throughout the entire enclosure. It makes sense that since they’re from the Paraguaná Peninsula they would require at least 60% humidity for the low end to 75% humidity which is the annual average to be comfortable instead of an arid 25-30% humidity. I wonder why there is so much content on GBB’s suggesting they should be kept in an arid environment, thanks for this video
It's interesting - A lot of people report that they see their gbbs drink quite often but mine is actually one of the few spiders in my collection I have never ever seen drinking 😄 I hope your girl will be happier in the new setup, I think rehousing her was a good idea! Fingers crossed for the next eggsack 😊
I love how you're not afraid to try something totally different with your spiders to see if they get on better. You are sort of like a scientist with your experiments. :)
I think this enclosure will work better for the female spider Dave and it's not bone dry substrat for her to web and lay her eggs in! She is a very colorful beautiful spider indeed! Thank you Dave and Sweet Camera Lady for yet another interesting video! Have a wonderful end of the week and weekend too, hugs from Trollet 🐱🐾❤️ and me 👩🦳 in Sweden.
I have a GBB.Its my first spider and I really enjoy keeping her. I'm going to have to rehouse her pretty soon, and I get really anxious about doing it for some reason. Your videos really help give me confidence and watching how easily you handle them makes it less stressful for me! Thank you!
Dave your Green Bottle Blue is absolutely stunning!!! 😍🕷 Hoping she feels more comfortable and secure in her new beautiful enclosure so she can have lots of precious GBB babies. 🙏💖
She is a GORGEOUS spider!!! Unfortunate about the egg sac... but I'm sure you'll succeed the next time. By the way, the photography is impeccable!!! 😍🤩😍
Gorgeous spider as always. Hopefully, this new environment will go in her favour. Would be nice to have more of these captive-bred. Stay safe and thanks for sharing :)
It’s such a shame she felt she could not wrap her eggs in a sack. But it was almost as if she would sooner eat her eggs than not be able to protect them in a proper sack. I do hope she feels happier in her new home. It’s a testament of your care and dedication to your spiders that you are willing to try and make her happy and feel secure so that future pairings result in a successful egg sack. I do hope this works. Great video from you both as always.
Watching an egg sac being laid and contructed would have been amazing to see! 🤞for next time for a viable egg sac and maybe a sneak peek into any of your ladies building their sacs would be a wonderful treat.
Such a beautiful spider, I love you and camera lady you do everything you can to help make your spiders feel safe and secure, you do everything possible! I truly love your channel your expertise shows through everything you do! ❤️❤️❤️ 🕸🕷
I used to get anxious about the corner of the table but not anymore rofl. Tbh I'm not surprised she wasn't comfortable as I thought the substrate might not be right for her but you're the expert so I knew you knew what you were doing. I'll keep my fingers crossed she likes the new enclosure more and has babies. I am curious about the humidity thing as my first tarantula was a GBB but it died a few weeks after I got her which I put down to the humidity being too high and I was always told arrid conditions, I think my issue was not enough ventilation.
Rotten luck Dave. I was really hoping you'd get a successful eggsack from this beautiful lady. Hopefully she'll be happy with this new enclosure! And when she comes into breeding condition, she'll be successful for you. With her history of eating the eggs...I'd definitely take them early and put them in the incubator. Excellent video... great commentary! As usual!!! Say hello to your Camera Lady!!! 🥰😍
Congrats on 50k! 👏💐🍾 I am pretty sure that if anyone can figure out what this beauty needs it's you and Camera Lady! Sad about the baby munching. I can't wait till we try again. 🕷♥️
Following earlier advice I have kept my GB bone dry so far, apart from a filled waterdish, but I was not satisfied because she did not do much webbing, did not have a great feeding response and stayed hidden in her burrow almost all of the time. She did have a successful molt four weeks ago. Seeing this new video I sprayed some water on the webbing around the burrow and my GBB almost immediately came out to drink the water droplets. She even left her safe burrow for a walk around and found the waterdish, perhaps for the first time, from which she drank a lot of water. I hope she will be more on display from now on, do more webbing and eat more crickets. I think I’ll spray some water once a week and see if this will keep her happy. Thanks a lot for your new video, always a pleasure to watch.
She is beautiful! Can’t wait to see her create her new webbed fortress. I need to rehouse my my little gbb sling, the wood I used started to mould from the dirt being a little too damp
I had a question about this “keep them arid,” thing. (The humidity in Venezuela right this moment, 1am in the “dry season,” is 84%.) Never mind. I think I figured it out. They’re basically the succulents of the tarantula world. 💡 Succulents I understand: Plenty of water, but keep their “feet” dry. It does actually make sense once you get the hang of it. 😄 Thanks. Lovely spider and cool video, as always.
Hopefully it works out for you. I'm sure it will your the spider whisper 😉. Thanks for sharing this awesome video with us. Love the channel Dave and Camara Lady can't wait for the next one.
This is so interesting Dave! Your rationale seems spot-on, and I wish her great success in this new home you’ve set up for her. I always enjoy your videos-you’re a great teacher and I always learn a ton about these fascinating creatures! 🤗
After seeing you house your gbb with beardie life I rehoused mine the same way few months later she went into pre moult during the moult she died half way through the moult process, I think it was due to the dry substrate and arid condition of the tank.it was a shame as she was of a good age and lovely condition. But I feel looking back she was more happy in the dryish soil mix with a good size water dish. Loved the video and I’m glad I came to the same conclusion as you.
Congratulations on hitting the 50k mark Dave and Camera Lady. Sorry about your egg sacks but it’s all in the learning process as you can tell from your in-depth knowledge and keen eye for your spiders enclosure.
Wow! I have watched this video twice, I didn’t want to miss anything from the first time 😆 Hi Dave and Camera Lady hope you’re both well. I hope Miss GBB settles down in her new setup. It definitely looked like she wasn’t too enamoured with her arid one. I love following all their stories… fingers crossed we’ll see another pairing and subsequent egg sac AND eggs with legs 💕💕 Take care 😘💕xxx
Hello Dave and camera Lady ! 🤗 I love GBB. I love so much tarantulas... 🕷 and it's thanks to you. Every video is so amazing, with so many advices. 🙏🏻 For this one, I found it really interesting 😊. The footage (when she try to make her eggsac and ends up devouring it 😞) is really good. I've never seen this. Love the way you take care of your spiders. 💫 I hope you'll manage to have an eggsac from this gorgeous young lady 🤞. I know you will (maybe not next time or the other but you will). Have a good day 🌝
She wasn't happy bless this new home looks so much better ...Hopefully she will start to feel more secure in this one .Great work again camera lady until next time 🥰🥰🥰
Hey Dave! Again, sorry for the late comment man, i`ve been busy and if i`m being honest, this is the first time i log onto my laptop in about 3 days, i follow 54 ( i think ) TH-cam Channels and my laptop absolutely blew up with notifications, 30+ notifications, replies, videos, community posts, you name it, it was in my notifications bell. Great video Dave! Yeah, it`s probably time to start something new if she`s eaten 2 egg sacs, she probably wasn`t too comfortable. That was my first time seeing tarantula eggs in their first stage if you like, i`ve never seen them before they`re in the eggsac. So cool to see Dave!! Perfect balance of education and entertainment again Dave! Man, you`re good. I refuse to believe that you haven`t taught in a school before/don`t have teaching experience. Just before i close this off, this is one of my favourite species of tarantula and probably spiders and inverts as a whole! Very beautiful, as slings and adults, wouldn`t you agree Dave? Excellent job as usual Camera Lady! Stop whispering woman! Everyone here loves you!! Hell, you`re probably more famous than Dave at this point. PS Dave: Still waiting for your fish video s well as the frogs... HEHEHEHEHAHAHA. Reply if you like Dave, have a good one buddy.
The Experiance i made with this Species is, that they are kind of particular. I would bereally glad, if you post an Update Video, of how this Beauty developed in its new Enclosure.. And thank you, for your great Work.
My GBB has been thriving ever since I’ve introduced more humidity into its enclosure… misting at least once a week. I’ve noticed it’s helped with molting too… just an observation. The simpler enclosure the better, practically over aesthetics.
Awww bless her ❤ hoping her next pairing and following egg sack all goes according to plan for you (and daddy don't get eaten 🙏) 😁 thank you Mr & Mrs Dave 😍😍😍
Cant wait for updates on her n I hope she finds this setup to her liking and Congratulations on reachin 50k in subscribers well done Dave n Camera Lady for keepin your content interesting and fun ...
Hi Dave 😊 How are you keeping track of who you are feeding and when? I never see you logging feeds but I would assume that's what you do. Do you have a special type of log you use if you use that method? It would be interesting to see how you keep track with so many different requirements like adults vs slings. Love your videos!! I've learned so much from them! My Pokie is growing and doing well 💜
Hi patty I don’t log anything with feeding I let the spiders tell me when they are hungry, generally if I haven’t seen them their not hungry, slings I offer food weekly 👍
Ah brilliant video Dave, very interesting and informative and enjoyable, hopefully Dave, this set up will be enough to get her back on track. Anyway Dave another brilliant job by yourself and camera 📷 lady.
if the spider isn't happy then PROFF you have try something different. its just another attempt to succeed for the beastie room, great information on this spider and her behaviour . great video camera lady take care guys many thanks
Wow - 50 thousand subs! Congratulations. More than deserved. Great video as usual. If you're looking for suggestions I'd love an update on some of the true spiders in your collection - the fishing spider, wolf spiders etc!
She is a beautiful spider and this is very interesting! Always love the overnight videos sped up so we can see things normally completely missed. Looking forward to see if she does better in new enclosure/environment. Thank you Dave!!
She's a real beauty. Good luck for a future sac. I didn't know they could be tricky to pair. I got a small Gbb sling at Christmas. Not long after getting him/her he had a bad moult. I left helping too long as didnt want to damage him, he's just tiny. So the moult had hardened. I got it off but 1 leg looked damaged, he dropped it not long after. I knew he was fine with a missing leg but worried he would have a bad moult next time. I've noticed he drinks a lot so always make sure there is water in his dish (small tattoo ink.pot). Then the area around water dish I do some drops so its bit moist around water dish. Rest is bone dry. Now and again I put a dropper down wee hole at side so a couple of drops are in lower substrate. I hope that's an ok way to keep him. I'm always worried about slings drying out. He webs & is a great little eater He had a good moult & has a little thin leg 😊. No missing leg now I shouldn't have 2 worry about future moults should I? Last one was perfect so assume the bad moult hasnt left him damaged in any way xx
It was disturbing to see her eating the eggs. Maybe she knew slings wouldn't do well in the environment? It will be interesting to see if she fares better in her new home. She' s a beauty! The Blue Belle!
I don't know if You know the Tarantula Book by Peter Klaas, but He shows some Pictures of the Environment and a GBB in the Crack of a Stem. He found them often living like this. Inside there it would be 10-20% higher Humidity than on the Outside. So Chances are good it will turn out well this Time ( hopefully for the Guy too😉). Fingers crossed. 🤞🤞
Getting a 3cm sling on Friday (24/05/2024)! Watching a ton of GBB videos again to prepare. Dream species of mine other than a T. stirmi (but damn T. stirmi is expensive). I've wanted a GBB for 6 years, known care, etc.. but can never be too prepared aye! Your videos made me more confident with webbers and slightly feisty Ts! I commented awhile back saying about getting my first OBT in march. I got him and he is doing amazingly!
Great video Dave,I keep my AF quite dry just top soil, because the care sheets say they like it arid.ive got anchor points a fake skull cork bark up against it because she likes to climb,on the floor she has webbed the floor and made a roof so she has got a web burrow,I've noticed she stays her web tunnel and also comes out and climbs up on the skull that she has webbed up.she does drink but not very often.im just wondering if some gbbs like it a little moisture and others dont.and that's why I love this hobby u get to experiment different things so your spider feels happy.hopefully yours will be happy in the new set up.
Good luck.. she needs a good quiet life to have her brood in and I think you have hit it this time.. But then everything I know about spiders you can sum up in two words.. "oh really?"
My 2.5" female Chromatopelma Cyaneopubescens just molted and has visibly blue legs now!! Her abdomen is also losing the tiger pattern. It's half tiger pattern and half orange. So exciting!! I keep her on dirt and she does perfectly. She's not skittish which is nice but I know that can change at any time. Hope your female is doing well now!
I wonder if you have chatted with others who have that spider and what their experience has been with breading. Maybe more information from other keepers could assist you with her. I know you are always learning about your beasties and striving to get it right for them. I will be watching for an update.

We will see what happens ❤️🙏
@@daveslittlebeasties We hope for a good successful outcome! ❤️🙏
I have a GBB.Its my first spider and I really enjoy keeping her. I'm going to have to rehouse her pretty soon, and I get really anxious about doing it for some reason. Your videos really help give me confidence and watching how easily you handle them makes it less stressful for me! Thank you!
That's awesome! just plan well in advance and allow plenty of time so you dont have to rush and you will be fine ❤️👍
Dave your Green Bottle Blue is absolutely stunning!!! 😍🕷 Hoping she feels more comfortable and secure in her new beautiful enclosure so she can have lots of precious GBB babies. 🙏💖
Fingers crossed 🤞
Your videos are so good for someone that is still learning the ropes around Ts. Very interesting. And I like your whole setup u made. Keep it up Dave
I appreciate that!
She is a GORGEOUS spider!!! Unfortunate about the egg sac... but I'm sure you'll succeed the next time. By the way, the photography is impeccable!!! 😍🤩😍
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you 🙏
Just ordered my first GBB. I've wanted one since I first got into the hobby, over a decade ago. I'm excited.
Good luck!
Let us know how it goes mate, I've been looking into getting one myself.
Allways loved the GBB very pretty spider
very interesting, I can't wait to see how it pans out, she is so beautiful !
Watching an egg sac being laid and contructed would have been amazing to see! 🤞for next time for a viable egg sac and maybe a sneak peek into any of your ladies building their sacs would be a wonderful treat.
It’s difficult to catch them at it 😂👍
Such private creatures....I can relate. XD
Love how you have more sling footage on Facebook!!! It’s been helping with my arachnophobia!!
Such a beautiful spider, I love you and camera lady you do everything you can to help make your spiders feel safe and secure, you do everything possible! I truly love your channel your expertise shows through everything you do! ❤️❤️❤️ 🕸🕷
Thank you 🙏
I used to get anxious about the corner of the table but not anymore rofl.
❤️❤️👍
Congrats on 50k! 👏💐🍾
I am pretty sure that if anyone can figure out what this beauty needs it's you and Camera Lady!
That’s cool 😎
She is beautiful! Can’t wait to see her create her new webbed fortress. I need to rehouse my my little gbb sling, the wood I used started to mould from the dirt being a little too damp
I had a question about this “keep them arid,” thing. (The humidity in Venezuela right this moment, 1am in the “dry season,” is 84%.)
Never mind. I think I figured it out.
They’re basically the succulents of the tarantula world. 💡
Succulents I understand: Plenty of water, but keep their “feet” dry. It does actually make sense once you get the hang of it. 😄
Thanks. Lovely spider and cool video, as always.
❤️❤️❤️
Yes things change all the time , I like the beardie life but in this instance I don’t think it worked so well 👍
She is so beautiful. I really hope she manages to settle in better for a successful breeding
Congratulations on hitting the 50k mark Dave and Camera Lady. Sorry about your egg sacks but it’s all in the learning process as you can tell from your in-depth knowledge and keen eye for your spiders enclosure.
Thank you my friend ❤️👍
Wow! I have watched this video twice, I didn’t want to miss anything from the first time 😆
Hi Dave and Camera Lady hope you’re both well.
Fingers crossed 🤞
Evening dave camera lady ❤ ive just ordered one of these a 10cm female ❤ this is the only video I searched for
Hello Dave and camera Lady ! 🤗
I love GBB.
Have a good day 🌝
She wasn't happy bless this new home looks so much better ...Hopefully she will start to feel more secure in this one .Great work again camera lady until next time 🥰🥰🥰
I hope so too
Ace info and happy frog chat at end was lol, cheers
Interesting that a substrate could have such an impact.
Yes a big difference 👍
The Experiance i made with this Species is, that they are kind of particular.
I would bereally glad, if you post an Update Video, of how this Beauty developed in its new Enclosure..
And thank you, for your great Work.
Now I really wanna get a GBB for my first spider. They are really cool looking.
I've had my first t ever ( a GBB) for about 6 months now and I'm so happy I chose her for my first. She's doing so great o
@@crystalconstantine5102 they really are such a pretty spider. Especially when the light hits it just right and you see the iridescent blue and green.
She really is lovely. I wish you much luck with her.
My GBB has been thriving ever since I’ve introduced more humidity into its enclosure… misting at least once a week. I’ve noticed it’s helped with molting too… just an observation. The simpler enclosure the better, practically over aesthetics.
Best of luck with her Dave mate she is beautiful!
Awww bless her ❤ hoping her next pairing and following egg sack all goes according to plan for you (and daddy don't get eaten 🙏) 😁 thank you Mr & Mrs Dave 😍😍😍
Good great yes u got to . many spider don't like it to warm your spider Dave are big I love them ..;-)
Cant wait for updates on her n I hope she finds this setup to her liking and Congratulations on reachin 50k in subscribers well done Dave n Camera Lady for keepin your content interesting and fun ...

One of my favorit T's! Thank you for the video Dave :D really wonderful
Much love from denmark 🇩🇰
Looking forward to the next one
Congrats Prof. Dave for hitting the 50K+! Well deserved! Perfect job from you and the camera lady! Next goal 100K =)
Thank you very much!❤️❤️❤️❤️
As always I love your videos.
Fantastic colours beautiful 👧
Hi Dave 😊 How are you keeping track of who you are feeding and when? I never see you logging feeds but I would assume that's what you do. Do you have a special type of log you use if you use that method? It would be interesting to see how you keep track with so many different requirements like adults vs slings. Love your videos!! I've learned so much from them! My Pokie is growing and doing well 💜
Hi patty I don’t log anything with feeding I let the spiders tell me when they are hungry, generally if I haven’t seen them their not hungry, slings I offer food weekly 👍
Such a cool spider
Dave you are next level awesome explaining information on these videos!! Fantastic stuff! 🕸👍🏻
Thank you kindly! 👍
Ah brilliant video Dave, very interesting and informative and enjoyable, hopefully Dave, this set up will be enough to get her back on track. Anyway Dave another brilliant job by yourself and camera 📷 lady.
Thanks buddy
Lookin' forward to seein' how this new method works out. Keep us informed! 😉
I'm sure this has been said before, but you my friend are like the Bob Ross of tarantulas. Love your videos!
Thank you 🙏
You really do collect the most beautiful pieces of wood
if the spider isn't happy then PROFF you have try something different. its just another attempt to succeed for the beastie room, great information on this spider and her behaviour . great video camera lady take care guys many thanks
Cheers buddy
Big beautiful spider
excellent observations as always Dave, just rehoused mine with Beardie life, may have a change of tact.
Recommend you put water in a little bowl glass on the corner to help her to drink.
Avoid fatigue
keep her energy healthy well.
Wow - 50 thousand subs! Congratulations. More than deserved. Great video as usual. If you're looking for suggestions I'd love an update on some of the true spiders in your collection - the fishing spider, wolf spiders etc!
Thank you 🙏
She is a beautiful spider and this is very interesting!
He webs & is a great little eater
He had a good moult & has a little thin leg 😊. No missing leg now
I shouldn't have 2 worry about future moults should I?
Last one was perfect so assume the bad moult hasnt left him damaged in any way xx
Should be fine now 👍
It was disturbing to see her eating the eggs. Maybe she knew slings wouldn't do well in the environment? It will be interesting to see if she fares better in her new home. She' s a beauty! The Blue Belle!
I feel like she knew as well...
Oh yeah congrats on passing 50k subscriptions
Thank you so very much my friend we are really excited about it ❤️🙏👍
I don't know if You know the Tarantula Book by Peter Klaas, but He shows some Pictures of the Environment and a GBB in the Crack of a Stem.
Congrats on 50k Dave!!! Been here since you had waaay less! Keep up the great wotk!
Thank you my friend ❤️👍
Absolutely stunning critter!!
WOW WEE WOW!
thank you so much. i have eagerly been waiting for this, i hope she settles and feels more secure xx
I hope so too!
@@daveslittlebeasties she is a beautiful spider. I love your collection. If my grandchildren werent so scared of spiders. Id have one. Lol
sorry about the sac..... best of luck with this new experiment!
Nice looking GBB there! CONGRATS on hitting 50K Subs!
Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
Great video Dave,I keep my AF quite dry just top soil, because the care sheets say they like it arid.ive got anchor points a fake skull cork bark up against it because she likes to climb,on the floor she has webbed the floor and made a roof so she has got a web burrow,I've noticed she stays her web tunnel and also comes out and climbs up on the skull that she has webbed up.she does drink but not very often.im just wondering if some gbbs like it a little moisture and others dont.and that's why I love this hobby u get to experiment different things so your spider feels happy.hopefully yours will be happy in the new set up.
Good luck.. she needs a good quiet life to have her brood in and I think you have hit it this time.. But then everything I know about spiders you can sum up in two words.. "oh really?"
Great information Dave , fantastic channel ,50k subs 👍 keep the great content going
We are chuffed to still be here ❤️

My 2.5" female Chromatopelma Cyaneopubescens just molted and has visibly blue legs now!! Her abdomen is also losing the tiger pattern. It's half tiger pattern and half orange. So exciting!! I keep her on dirt and she does perfectly. She's not skittish which is nice but I know that can change at any time. Hope your female is doing well now!
They go through some amazing changes 👍

I wonder if you have chatted with others who have that spider and what their experience has been with breading. Maybe more information from other keepers could assist you with her. I know you are always learning about your beasties and striving to get it right for them. I will be watching for an update.
