2023 Kia Telluride - The Best Midsize SUV!

- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 26 ธ.ค. 2022
- In this short I'm reviewing the new and refreshed 2023 Kia Telluride. For this new year, Telluride gains new trim levels such as the X-Line and X-Pro and also receives new exterior looks, new interior cabin and new features. Hear about why I think this Kia Telluride SX Prestige X-Pro is the best mid-size SUV you can buy today.

I love this and get more bullish when I watch your reviews on this Kia George great stuff iv added it to my portfolio lol.
Getting rid of the amber drls was a big letdown
Just as I was getting used to them too....they switched.
Agreed.
You could always tell apart the rich from the poor. Lol
@@keoki777 what do you mean
@@d.supreme8592 only the higher trim level units get the amber DRLs.
Facts. I got the 2022 model after seeing what the did to the exterior (2023).
For all the haters bitching about the resale value they clearly don’t shop around. I went into the dealer with my 2020 S to get it appraised. They gave me $34k for it 3 years after I paid under the original sticker of $36k. Then they sold me a 2023 SX Prestige for under the $53k sticker. I was in & out in under 3 hours. Toyota had no cars on the lot. Honda offers less features for the money. You have to shop around but Tellurides are 100% holding their value!
Agreed. The used KIA is tough to find and the resale is very good!
Not when it’s at the shop waiting for a new engine lol
Welcome back!! I'm broke, we all broke 😂!
Needs more efficient engine options. The Grand Highlander gives you 36mpg in an even larger size.
It’s a nice SUV
Only if it had Toyota like reliability and hybrid version of it.
LMAO. It is reliable....only legit complaint there is the lack of a Hybrid but again maybe that is on purpose. There's no need to introduce a complicated powertrain to their most popular vehicle.
@@diambo4lifeno is not Hyundai and Kia recalling thousand of cars maybe millions for bad engines I guess u being living under a rock to
@Anderson Rodriguez not true. They have come a long way. They are willing to prove it with the 10year 100k drivetrain warranty. C
Exactly…Kia still isn’t there in terms of reliability, especially with the prices they’re asking.
No they aren't reliable never have been they are expensive trash by korea
It gets like 15mpg around town lol
It looks good but is it reliable
Nope. Its a kia
10 years 100,000 mile warranty
I rented a Kia and low performance and it seems they are better now, is it better performance
How’s the reliability on these things?
This SX X-PRO that you are reviewing actually has 18” wheels with All Season tires, you pointed at the rim and said it has 20’s. Just an FYI, other models do have 20’s, but not the vehicle you are featuring here
0.4” lift as well 🎉
It’s a good car till the engine dies on you on the highway for no reason, and this is happening a lot more than what they’re owning up to
I test drove one. It was nice but wish there was more power and couldn’t bring myself to buy a kia
The only drawback of Telluride is that the captain chairs in higher trims make it a 6 seater instead of a 7 or 8 seater.
At least they should have given the option of having a connected bench in the second row of higher trims.
Is it safe and reliable?
Please put another two fake exhaust on the right side .
Should have gave it the Stinger Gt engine.
Looks great, but, is it reliable?
Best only if you don’t need to worry about excessive oil consumption, car stolen and engine catch-on-fire itself to burn down your house
Just make sure to include several fire extinguishers in the payment
How can people
Gush over an underpowered Kia?? SMH
Plenty of power!
Which would you choose between this and the Hyundai Palisade?
Depends, the style and luxury exterior is nice for the palisade, but I like the ruggedness look of the telluride…and the Genesis GV80 is just out of my price range that SUV is luxurious and elegant😅….the telluride is the only one out of the 3 to have a off road package and an option tow increase to 5500 lbs
The telluride is so good to the point where the upcoming Toyota grand highlander already lost badly before we’ve even given it a chance. That’s how good the telluride and palisade are
Hey cartoon get some life 😂😂
Don't u have anything in life tahn to talk $hit against the king Toyota
Traded my highlander for the Telluride and Never look back!
It’s still a KIA tho
Ur point???
😂
Kiaboys approve.
You forgot..(Dependability) bro
perfect balance of worst kia dealerships with 20k markups
I love this car, would never buy a Kia though
Same lol
How about random fire
The kia boys will get you.
Best looking Vehicle on the road today! Kia rocks.
😂😂😂
Rocks the motor when is waiting for a replacement
@@andersonrodriguez8258 We own 3 and buying a Telluride now. Thanks they are Rocking Great. Awesome vehicles.
@@andersonrodriguez8258 We own 3! And just got the 2023 Telluride. By the way love them!!
Like it, don't love it. 50 grand? I gotta love it.
It's stunningly beautiful lv it
This is George we’re all George
It’s looking good but not reliable.. my co worker he got one not even couple years the transmission is already bad
Honda Pilot >
Especially when it comes to the AWD capabilities
And reliable nd durable nd engine not blowing up
Looks nice, but Hyundais V6 engine is still questionable. Comparable Toyota and Honda V6 engines are proven reliable.
palisade more luxury
Why r youtubers pushing kias like they r good cars. They look and feel cheap. Not to mention customer service sucks and the depreciation plus they usually break. Down like the 5th year of. Ownership
Do you get over 100k miles with no major issues?
Of course not. 😂 its junk.
😂
don't listen to the haters, they don't understand that a company who's hungry, is a company that's bound for success. kia has been killing it in the last 5 years , the telluride is rated high in reliability , it also comes with 10 years or 100k miles warranty. it is literally a better suv than the toyota highlander in every aspect, from performance, warranty, luxury given to you even at a base trim, and space.
@@Txcowboy80 The dirty habit of Toyota salesman. Your lies make Toyota worse.
Yep it's trash.
It's it cheaper?? Let's not kid ourselves this is a Kia SUV, it's worth like $35k brand new.
If it had at least 27mpg highway I'd probably fuck with it.
To the 🌙
Still uses the same platform as the KIA VAN and engine and transmission so basically it's the van 😂
They have to stretch it to be longer. The sooner the better. Before competition takes over.
lol it’s been 6 years since Kia started making their base models fully equipped with top tech. Every other company has yet to deliver models even close to what Kia offers for price. Toyota is the closest competitor and they don’t even offer half these features
I just don't like the way it looks at all the inside is nice but I don't like the outside
Looks nice. Too bad Hyundai engines are trash and constantly blow up. I’ll stick with Lexus.
Too small in the back, I got a van instead.
Its engine also blew away !!
Your comment is what got blown away by humans who have an actual brain and eyes. You clearly lack both if you think every brand except Toyota is garbage 😂
@@naveenthemachine if u see with the eyes of a sensible man !! This kia is a literal pile of garbage !!
A literal pile of plastic in the engine housing !!
@@naveenthemachine toyota is garbage 🤣🤣🤣 and you say kia is good 🤣🤣🤣🤣 is ok to be dumb but your level of dumbness is at highest level. Tell that to kia boys. Kpop shit boys loves korean shit cars 😂😂😂
i sell kia’s and tellurides sell at least 10-15 a week
That spec your showing is like $60,000 with options though.
It just seems once you start entertaining that price range you might as well go into luxury segment
Someone who can afford a 60,000 kia could probably afford 68,000 Lexus or Audi
💖👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
But kia and Hyundai catch fire. I'm good..
Our leather was top of the class trash and now we are proudly intruding you the new recyclable leather trash
Kia for the win😅😅😅
Should not have facelifted the front. That's the only complaint.
Perfect size…. It can be better in size
Kia invests in Telluride embellishments, but the car's basic mechanics, the engine, the transmission, and the suspension, remain unchanged and increasingly outdated. Here Kia's best is Sportage PHEV, as well as their all-electrics. But there is no satisfactory infrastructure in the US to support the latter, and in very cold weather, common in many US states, the batteries sag hopelessly. So the BEVs are only good for driving around town in sunny California. On the other hand, Sportage PHEV you can take everywhere and in any weather.
Kia kia yes but price
But is it reliable😏
KIA Vehicles need more HP
You will have reliability issues
It’d be nice if Kia was more mechanically reliable and not able to be hot wired by a usb 😅
Better than an MDX in almost every way
One thing Kia/Hyundai doesn't have is reliability.
Bullshit! Had mine for 3 years with no problems. Loved it & just got a 2023.
@@paperboy8865 3 yrs is about the life span of a KIA, surprised you made it this long....
@@Kush333 you guys just keep spreading bullshit
@@paperboy8865 you obviously never had a Toyota or Honda they own reliability & longevity.
@@paperboy8865 3 yrs is a good number for Kia lol
This thing midsize?
The perfect balance of cheap materials, poor reliability, awful dealer networks and insane markups
Hyundai Pallisade seems to be better when it comes to manuverability and drive experience. Rest the same as Kia.
Part’s are plastic specially around engine part.
Problem is, that gdi engine is trash
I believe a vehicle is more than what the aesthetics. People need reliable and something with longevity. I was thinking of purchasing one in 2022 & 3 mechanics told me don’t even think about it. I said thank you ! So to each their own.
I’m a retired auto tech from Toyota and my best friend works at Kia and I see a lot of issues with Kia brand. Vehicles are very nice looking but they have major quality issues.
Looks great but the engine longevity sucks. Resale value is the worst. What else do you recommend? Maybe 2023 honda pilot? I luv the new jeep grand Cherokee summit which is top luxury
Resale value is the worst? Have you seen how much used ones are going for?
I highly recommend the 2023 pilot
Remember this. In 3 years from now it’s still just a Kia. And 5 years from now, It’s a 5 year old Kia. And 10 years from now it’s a 10 year old Kia. And it will always be worth only Kia value.
Well I paid under sticker for my new 2023 & got $34k for my 2020 S trade that I got for under the $36k sticker 3 years ago. No other car I’ve had, including 2 Highlanders & a Forerunner, has had that kind of resale. I do not like KIA in general but I do love the Telluride!
Cheap quality and very unreliable.. Looks doesnt pay repair bills. I would go for Honda pilot or highlander for sure👍
Thanks for voicing your opinion . It just wouldn’t be for me .
That’s why we have choices
Americans really be calling these cars "midsize"
Africans be talking like you
@@2004cyrus what?
Crap reliability too lol
There is nothing special about Kia
Here's is what I have to say about this, "Mazda CX-90"
Just test drove CX-90 yesterday. Impressive interior on the high end model but was disappointed by the lower trims. Much Smaller inside than competition too. We’re likely going Pilot or Grand Highlander when it arrives
not available in europe, f this world
Hyundai palisade based hai
Got the 2022 version because the exterior for the 2023 looks like 💩. Sorry but the amber DRL is a huge turn on for me.
Its twin the Palisades changed the style. It doesn't look good.
They haven’t done any engine upgrades since the initial launch 👉💩
And Toyota will keep the same engine for 10 years and everyone claps
Gets bad mpg. People are having transmission problems within a year. No hybrid system. Sheesh
That silver lipstick on your cars face 🥴🥴🥴
But the Palisade is better... Power 3rd row and heated 3rd row...
I went to the Washington Auto Show On Saturday and I still was impressed by this Kia tellurii tried looking at other vehicles but it keeps drawing me in to seriously thinking about getting this SUV.
Palisade facelift looks better....but that's about it.
Hyundai motor company has three levels, ones going to get less than the other….however, telluride might not have that feature, but has a more capable off road option, that palisade doesn’t have….the palisade also has remote park assist, soo I would say the palisade is more the road trip and city daily, where you could take the telluride camping….and that third level Genesis GV80, is just luxury, the palisade and telluride are about the same price for top trim and is the same price as the base model GV80…top trim of a GV80 is about 20k more
лучше кадилака
For ppl asking if Kias are reliable, I would say buy one and find out urself.
No matter what it’s Kia
😂😂😂 U live under a rock!
You have been living under a rock for the past 25 years. This is not KIA of 1995. It's a completely different company. There's a reason you see more KIAs on the road than Toyotas now lol.
@@diambo4life exactly!!!
Same car since 2020. Added heated and cooling seats in the back, 20 in rims, changed some colors. Congratulations you’ve been scammed.
You are ignorant. They redesigned the interior, made it better and the front was facelifted. They also introduced more options for the trims. Stop commenting on what you don't know.
@@diambo4life you wrote a lot of nothing. Same car. Dumb ass. Redesigned trimmed. Lol just give them your money and join the sheep. Same car different trims. Drives the exact same. Bless your soul.
@@diambo4life I own a telluride. I’m sure you never been in one . 😂
@@diambo4life you don’t know crap…I also own a telluride and they didn’t change sh@t….was getting an oil change at the dealership and looked at a new one…nothing significant changed…..u just talking an dont even own the car…GOOOFFFYY
PRICE PLEASE!!!
About $49k depending on options.
Try $50++ I have one & it’s nice but not worth all the hype! They’re taking shortcuts & adding more cheap plastic everywhere. And the real insult to premium buyers…STILL no dual exhaust!
@@paperboy8865 Please mention another vehicle on the road today that has the same option, features at that price point. There is literally NOTHING! And we are not even talking about the best warranty period.
Don’t forget the dealer mark up. Other bands you can get msrp or lower, for Kia that is a big fat no. So add 5-7k markup like I was quoted.
Jay shree ram
The telluride sucks. Grand highlander is the way to go. Kia is terrible. The resale value on these TANKED.
no,
if you want to keep it more than warranty period because it has direct injection crap engine.
And wait for a engine replacement at the shop no thank you
Are you moving to review cars? And let crypto’s ? 😢
It's still the king.
Be nice if they didn’t randomly catch fire 🔥 😅 .
Kia fanboys : what vehicle doesn’t randomly catch fire and have engine recalls sheesh hater !
