I bought one of the last diesel vrs estate in that cosmic green colour largely because of your great review video on it earlier this year... Thanks Nobby!
Great video. I really like the VRS estate. Wheels look good from a distance. Close up.. not nice. I specced orange Vrs on the skoda site....46k. Think I'll wait 6-12 months and buy second hand one. Thanks Nobby. 😊
as people have said, the areo bits come out, you just need a set of grey nut covers and 4 centre caps, they were not on any of the asian review cars, only european ones for some reason
Ya just can’t bate an oul Sshkoda ! A neighbour just got an SEL version of this - just a lovely car. So - never been to IOM either … how about you do a parallel channel about the places you go ? Noble Journeys ?
@ Maybe, just clips from your “B Roll”? Weave in local observations as you drive around! No extra shooting (unless something really grabs ya!). Being an armchair traveller, I’d definitely watch that. Got worn out by Itchy Boots ! Too much drama !
I have ordered the sport line in Graphite grey metallic for January delivery - really wanted the RS, but the Irish price is just not for me I'm afraid - would desperately love the RS though :P
Purchase a 69 plate pre registered by dealer with 300 miles for £ 25000 in 2020 , black back DSG with digital dash. How can they justify that price , being ripped off
@ *you’re - ever think that there wasn’t a heap of green cars? Ever think perhaps the videos provided were not great? You’re making a lot of assumptions without really having an understanding. Not sure how it takes away from the info regarding the car but let me know where to send your refund btw….
Evening Nobby I own a 2017 Skoda vrs estate and as mush as I love it It’s not really sporty if I’m honest Suspension is not great and doesn’t give u confidence either hard acceleration or turning corners spirited. The gearbox is too long and a bit underpowered. But I know that if these things were perfect nobody would buy VWs
Had a 2016 Octavia VRS Estate with panoramic roof- my favourite car
Wheels look like they should be on an EV....not mad on them with all the black bits
He did say the black bits come out.
Wheels are just best left on from the factory for a cheaper price and then removed

Fair play to you Nobby for reviewing this car. In your heart you love the RS Octavia.
Great review as always mate
I loved my 2016 diesel VRS estate, it was a brilliant car.
One of the best family cars money can buy!

More like it Nobby a car we actually want, price needs to be right to get VW boys to switch.
Just ordered 1 in blue
Look great for the money
Will pull the plastic off the alloys to look nicer
60k for a Skoda, Thats a hard sell
Aye but it's more like the cars we actually want residuals will be interesting..
I think residuals will b strong@@anthonybrown4874
great video just out of my price range have brought a Karoq

We’re a bit more obsessed with emissions over in this part of the world !
Owned the pre facelift, great car, but can see the steamy headlights are still a thing on the new model.
Indeed 🤣
I've just picked up a 2024 octavia estate vrs from the UK and I live on the isle of man.
Have fun on those roads!!
Wish they would do the VRS Combi with leather or suede seat and the variable boot floor aka the SE L models
I have a 22 petrol estste, brilliant car, they just got so expensive, new one with the nicer seats ,DCC and Canton is €62k in Ireland😮
Pricey alright
Bought the '21 petrol saloon new for 38k 3y ago. How did we get to 62?
It's 57k Euros now, 62k when you add the Alcantara Seats, DCC and Canton sound system, price is for Ireland, we get hammered with the VRT Tax
@@pn6917 57!!! That's Audi RS3 money here
Paddy Tax
60k and family car shouldnt be words that go together. Prices have gone bananas.

great to see proper car cant get interested in electric stuff love these estate skodas

and as usual it will probably come with bridgestone potenzas, I put pilot sport 4's on the front and they are way better
I got Goodyear f1 on mine
Potenza Sport? or other Potenza's? I found Potenza sports to stick like shit to a blanket no sure about the others though.
@@adsmel5881I found the Turanza’s were better than Potenza’s on my late ‘18 vRS petrol DSG. Can’t afford Michelins!!
Shame they haven’t given us physical controls for climate etc. would not buy just because of this!
I have to say it is manageable as it has a big clima button and then you have all at your fingertip
With you 100% why don’t manufacturers take note .
Lovley car had a 211 silver combi changed to superb sportline..
.big big mistake vrs special but have an 04 black mk 1 vrs so not too bad
mines been built and in transit to germany for shipping...
Does Nobby EVER see his home pillow?
Just bought the 2025. What did you mean by ‘these cars are getting rarer and rarer’?
High powered petrol cars from mass production brands
Mk 3 pre-facelift looks better and has buttons and knobs. You would have to pay me to have this over my mk 3
MK3 in that flat grey is 👌🏻
40 Miles per gallon isn’t 13 liter/100km. Just saying.
If you have to turn all the speed warnings and driver "aids" off every time you start the engine, it's a NO from me!
Get used to it I’m afraid
You just described all new cars!
@rickb314 exactly, as I say, it's a no from me. Never buying a new car ever again.
@@Chris-hy6jythat's the plan
60k...wtf...
Well 56, technically.

ya rims are awful looking ok
Those wheels are awful. Mine is the pre-facelift with much nicer wheels and better front end
They’re just aero covers, they come off.
@ even so! 🤮
Terrible editing, are you driving a green car or a orange one. Makes everything seem fake when this happens. Poor
Terrible editing or the car is a different colour? Which is it? Not much I can do about pre-prepared footage. Have a lovely evening 👋🏻
@NobbyOnCars your the one making the videos. Why drive a orange car, then show footage of a green one. Bloody simple 👋

@@NobbyOnCarsdid the car you drove have DCC or was it passive set up? Thanks
Pretty sure it's the engine you're claiming is underpowered...not the gearbox ;)
