Just saw this recipe on Pinterest and thought to myself "I bet BrilliantlyBritish has a video on this!" I'm going to make this for Christmas with my Mom this year! Happy Christmas to you and yours!

...Lawrence, I doubt that your sweet tooth is bigger than mine 🦷 😅 ! Anyway, the tablets look sooo tasty. All that’s needed is a nice coffee ☕️

I’ll have to see it to believe that anyone loves sugar more than me

    Hi😍
    1. How many grams is your 1 can of condensed milk?
    2. Will there make a different if i only put in the vanilla right after the pot off the stove?

In my country condensed milk is very sweet while evaporated milk has no sugar added. Are you using these two things interchangeably or are they the same thing in Britain? I think in this case it wouldn’t matter which I use but want to be sure because I’m definitely trying this one. Thanks, Lawrence!
Also, is there a pattern for why some videos have a red thumbnail and some have a blue one?

      Hi Kirsten,
In the UK just like where you are condensed and evaporated milk differ due to the sugar content.
As for the tablet recipe, I recommend using condensed milk as I haven’t tried it with evaporated...
Oh and the colours refer to the type of dish/snack.
Blue refers to sweet... red to savoury 😉

Can you use coconutoil instead of butter for this recipe?

    • @brilliantlybritish

It should work, as coconut oil, like butter, is a solid fat at room temperature. However the flavour would be completely different. Let me know how it goes as I’m curious as well.

@@brilliantlybritish its odourless coconutoil, things I've cooked with before, taste has never been an issue, thanks for the reply
