I agree with Lily. HT is not a strong actress and in my opinion it showed in this scene. She had very dramatic material here but didn't do much with it other than the most obvious choices (acting upset). No nuances, no subtext. I kept imagining alternative and more complex line readings for basically everything she said. Those lines could have conveyed a much wider emotional range.
Eric always the last to know about family drama as usual. Oh wait, Thorne has no clue about Morgan either 😂

She has had many opportunities to talk with Ridge about that night. I think about the time he was with Brooke after the Moroccan SL. Or before marrying him again. That had been a great hole in Taylor's character history. Filled in the worst and unfair way when it didn't matter anymore.
Unpopular Opinion: I think HT is a phenomenal underrated actress

No sharon stewart not a rough day at all because we all know what's coming. Because the same things and even more he has said and will say to Brooke quote "you have been my whole world from the very moment i set eyes on you". He just says what he feels at the moment he is feeling it. Just like Brooke. But he will eventually stay with Brooke.
Taylor should have divorced Ridge and never looked back. Ridge never deserved her. Ridge just said he loved Taylor more than he ever loved Brooke. He made that clear.

@@Esi-741 Same! I think Sixth Sense, Unbreakable and Signs are the Holy Trinity for M Night. (I love how in these three films he uses veteran actors like Bruce Willis and Mel Gibson and their old school portrayal of masculinity to convey depth, spirituality and grace)
The *look* on Brooke's face when Rick walked in to interrupt her daytime work bang! "Ugh, God, I forgot I had another one of those kids." I did enjoy the queasy look when Amber hugged her and called her "mom", though.
(Speaking of Amber, that perfidious skank -can you at least take off CJ's ring before you keep sleeping with Rick, announcing to the world you're going to marry him, etc.).
I know HT doesn't always get rated highly as an actress in these parts, but I thought she was *phenomenal* today. Hit just the right combination of bewilderment, hurt, disbelief, rage, and sorrow. After months of watching her character be written as a complete dimwit, it was gratifying to see her finally get clued in. Every word she said to Ridge was on-point (especially the part where she asked him how she was supposed to make a decision in a few minutes after he'd known for 7 months), and HT delivered all her lines with complete gusto.
Oh, Brooke stans - did you catch Ridge telling Taylor that he didn't love Brooke the way he loved Taylor, and that he didn't just leave Brooke because of Thomas? 😆
Loved that closing aerial view of Taylor from the top of the stairs - excellent use of visuals as a means of foreshadowing!
Tridge was an absolute dream family and Taylor made Ridge a better man while Brooke only ever demanded him sexually.
HT was great in these scenes. Ridge may have said what he did to Taylor about Brooke but clearly that was not the case as the later episodes show.

The thing that really irritates me about this “email” defense is how did he not find it weird how last time they was in person she outright said no but then turns around and gives her consent through an email ? And even if he did call and get the ok on the phone, he still CHOSE to go through with it. Yes she faked an email but neither she or Taylor can make you do it.

Eric has been involved in his youngest son's baby trouble (Rick fighting for Rick's non-biological son), but now Eric learns that there is even more baby trouble concerning his oldest son.😏
And the people complaining about HT’s non existent acting talent, are the ones who probably went to acting school themselves..😂 She’s not the greatest actress, but she did good here in my opinion! And it’s hilarious how many times people need to repeat that HT is such a “bad”actress!😂🤦♀️

How much amber gets to brooke made me like her to I know she did horrible things to and wasn’t perfect but the second time getting with Rick she was there for him and loved him brooke always act to high and mighty toward her like she was such a step above what because of how successful she became at forrester to get her where she is but you had a sort of similar background not having much your mother being the only one to raise you you were a social climber to brooke don’t act like you weren’t I just hate how this is gonna hurt cj I know she doesn’t love him as much it’s sad he will never get to be there for the baby and then nothing really good would happen from there since when he returns they don’t do much with him then write him off again
