      @@sarahmallonee I've seen some videos where certain brands and certain shades just don't set up fully, or they just take a really long time to do so, so I'd prolly just do swatches to test how the specifics ones you have will react with the monomer

      @@MissStephGo I haven't tried this yet personally, I just watched a TH-cam video where a woman was testing a bunch of different dip powder brands and certain ones just didn't set up right or took a really long time to do so. I use ASP monomer from Sally beauty at the moment I've been waiting for my nearest cosmoprof to get the CND monomer in stock

    Just beautiful and stunning as always. I do have the products except the clear powder to set it in. When you get the acrylic clear set powder you started at the cuticle and then do you brush it down to the bottom of the nail and cover the whole nail? Is it like you encapsulate the sparkle dipping nail powder. I will try doing this on my nail. I do have the KUPA nail forms and everything else I bought from Young’s Nails from Cosmoprof. • @isabellapappano8075

    Hello! Thank you for this video. I have two questions: #1 is will all dip powders have around 1 minute of workable time? So like is the 1 minute of "workability" due to the type of powder, type of monomer, or just because we're using the product in this way? I have a dip kit with a bunch of colors and want to know if the techniques from the video would be accurate. and #2 is do we have to cure this under the UV lamp? Or does it just need a couple of minutes to settle and self-cure? I heard it say "dry and then file and shape" but then do we cap with a clear top coat and cure? Because the clarity and smoothness in the final clip doesn't seem like it's directly after shaping.Thank you!!

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We can't speak for other brands, but if you are using our Slick Pour powders and YN monomer, they will all have about 1 minute of woking time. The workability has to do with how the powders are manufactured and how much liquid you use to pick them up. If you use less liquid, you will have less working time.
      Slick Pour is an acrylic powder, so when you use it with our monomer, it will set just like a traditional acrylic nail, so no UV/LED curing is necessary. After it sets, you do want to file and shape the nail just as you would with a traditional acrylic enhancement and then you can apply a gel top coat and cure it. This is how we finished the nail in the video.

    I love the glitters. But a video needs to be done using one of the many colors that marble because I’m close to gouging up on slickpour if it’s going to take so much work for it to not marble. I’ve chatted with two different representatives from YN and they both gave me two different answers.
