I Ike to prep several wool projects and have them ready to stitch. The stitching itself seems to go more quickly when I’m ready. Love the clover pear! 🎄
Love the finished Buttermilk Basin projects!! So cute and quick. Many years ago when I was married, I made 100+ small loaves of various breads for office people. Your cookies sound delicious. Your videos never disappoint!!!
Hi Lori. Love the pear and your wool projects!! Loved hearing about your upcoming baking too. I need to get busy on that. Take care and see you tomorrow!
Finished pear looks great! That did use a lot of cloves, I’m sure the scent was wonderful. Your wool pieces look stunning , your baking sounds delightful enjoy 🤗♥️ see you tomorrow
The wool piece is too cute, the pear looks great & I bet it smells wonderful. I also like baking, decorating, & watching Christmas movies. I've been baking cookies the last 2 days. 😊 Marilyn
Snickerdoodles, M&M Cookies, Chocolate Crinkles, Reese's Cups. I still need to make Tiger Butter, & my Mom's Toffee Bars. LMK if you want any of the recipes!
I'm enjoying your Vlogmas and look forward every morning to seeing what you're doing next. I'm just getting back into doing wool and you've made so many gorgeous pieces, would you consider making a tutorial on how you prep and stitch your wool project, especially larger ones?
Thank you for your calm inspiration. You have helped me to focus on more important things than all the busyness. I have enjoyed cooking and decorating much more. Tomorrow I plan to make some Amish cinnamon bread.
The pear turned out really great. So looking forward to some new cookie recipes. My standby is chocolate chip cookies and my youngest son loves the recipe but no chips. Grandson due home from college next week so will be experimenting in the kitchen. Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend 🎄❄️🥰🪡🧵🍪
So much fun! Lori I too make cookies not as many kinds as you. I do make molasses cookies. I need to finish a wool project. You have inspired me! Can't wait for your peanut butter recipe! Thank you for answering my question on the amazing pear! Have a wonderful weekend. I finish a tree skirt for me yesterday that I got at farmgirldrygoodies❤
Oh how cool! Michelle puts together such great kits and such. I have a table topper that I decided to make into a tree skirt, but its lost in the abyss of my studio.
Could you share what product you use to fuse your wool pieces and also do you whip stitch or button hole stitch the pieces? Your Vlogmas is so much fun - a variety of projects that are all so fun. Love your review of movies and also seeing your vintage decorating pieces. Can't wait for the baking episode - Yum. Thanks for making these vlogmas videos.
I'm also working on several Buttermilk Basin Christmas projects, trying to finish some that I started last year, plus two more adorable pillow kits. I also placed a large order this past Cyber Monday when she had her 20% (or was it 30%?)sale. I love her designs. Our favorite Christmas cookie is Russian Teacake, but I wrap the dough around a chocolate kiss, they are fantastic.
Your pear and projects turned out great! Oh those cookies sounds wonderful. My claim to fame is my thumbprint cookies, tastes like shortbread with plum or raspberry jam rolled in walnuts. Can't wait to hear about your peanut butter cookies. See you tomorrow.
I am short of words -- and that's a new one for me. Your Vlogmas videos are wonderful. Full of interesting content, different every time, and this is the type of video that should be the standard of Flossmas/Vlogmas videos. I guess I love all your things, because I have always dreamed of living in the mountains, I love prim stitching, antiques, and all things old. I have reallu enjoyed all your videos, confined to my room because I have some kind of creeping crud that is going around here, and with my asthma, this is not fun. However, to participate in Christmas your way is simply enchanting.
Oh my gosh, thank you for your kind words! Creeping crud! My mother always uses that term too!☺️. I told my stitchy group here that when I had the creeping crud a few weeks ago, and it was a new one for them. I still have a froggy throat, but it’s getting better. I hope yours will creep under a rock and stay there. Where do you live may I ask? Hopefully, there are mountains close by. I love the ocean, and clear lakes; but it will always be mountains and trees for me. Feel better soon!!!
Your pear is cool! Anxious to see your other wool pieces! 😁🎄☃️❄️❄️❄️
Working on it! As usual, my plans are faster than my fingers🥰
I’m totally loving your Vlogmas! Thank you for sharing all of your creative ideas!❤🎄❤

Love the pear. Because of you, I purchased supplies for garland, dried, and "cloved" oranges! BTW... That color is beautiful on you! Have a lovely day.
Yay! I hope you have as much fun with it as I did! Thank you so much!

❤️❤️❤️
Can't wait to see some of your recipes!!!
Hope you enjoy!
The pear, the wool applique...all wonderful but talking about cookies has my mouth watering 😋. I don't bake as much on a low carb lifestyle!
I only bake once or twice a year and give the majority away. I live a low carb style too, but make an exception now and again.
The wool piece is too cute, the pear looks great & I bet it smells wonderful.
I also like baking, decorating, & watching Christmas movies.
I've been baking cookies the last 2 days. 😊

Ohhh, what kind may I ask?

I can do a walk through in an upcoming video! I think I have enough in various stages to show from end to end.
That would be great. Thank you :)@@texstylust
Would love for you to share your molasses cookie recipe. Your little pillow is really sweet 🎄
It’s a pretty simple one. If I have time, I’ll upload it along with another one or two.
Thank you for your calm inspiration. You have helped me to focus on more important things than all the busyness. I have enjoyed cooking and decorating much more. Tomorrow I plan to make some Amish cinnamon bread.
Ohh, that sounds wonderful. Is it a regular yeast bread or a batter bread?
It is a batter bread made with buttermilk.
@@cheriedeyoung6344 oh my! Would you consider sharing? 🥰

Thanks Joan! Yes, I’ll talk more about the wool in an upcoming video. I’ve had lots of requests. I currently use heat and bond lite.

Ohh, that sounds soooo good. I love Russian Teacakes as well, but never have luck with them. Maybe I need a different recipe.
I wanna come do crafts!! So fun!
Yes!!! Let’s plan!

Oh, those sound amazing!
The pear looks awesome, but we need a smell it TH-cam. Have been hoping to see the granddaughters finished dress. Untill tomorrow and take care.
Thank you! Soon!

The pear turned out beautiful! Would you share your peanut butter recipe? It’s my husband’s favorite. Thanks Lori 🎄💞
Possibly. 😉
Hopefully you will share your peanut butter cookie recipe.
No promises.. 😉
Darn
Does the pear go bad?
Do the cloves prevent it from spoiling?
Molasses are my favorite too.
My understanding is the pear dries and is preserved by the cloves. On lady mentioned she has had hers for several decades.
❤
Just a thought…..would it speed up the process of cloving your pear by wearing a thimble to push the cloves in?
That is an Excellent idea!! Brilliant!
Hi. Cici from Ohio
Love the pear. Ill bet it smells wonderful
Will you eat the pear? Or just for aroma
It’s for aroma and decoration.
