I love that you’re both are enjoying crocheting I use to knit and crochet for years all my loved ones have socks, sweaters, beanies, scarves, gloves and afghans. There came a time where I felt like no one wanted them anymore so I started crossing stitching and now I am learning to quilt as you go with EPP and I’m also enjoying needle turn appliqué. And my husband is going to build me a quilting frame so I can hand quilt by hand. Can’t wait till your next video, have a very Merry Christmas. Oh boy. Without reading directions? I definitely follow directions (this is Heather lol). Each little appliqué I make or the crocheted strawberries we make we read the directions. The granny squares we don’t just because it’s a very repetitive and adaptable patterns. My mom has always been a pretty prolific crocheted but for me, I definitely need a pattern and I usually have to read it every time I make that specific pattern lol. I’m sleep quite picky about who is making the pattern because I don’t always grasp every style of pattern. Is there a specific thing we have made that you would want to crochet? I can recommend some great free patterns out there that have great patterns. I also had to watch quite a few TH-cam videos before I finally grasped crocheting in general! It is some stitched and some of her older lines. I bought the kit before stitched came out. So I replaced some of the fabrics in my kit for pieces of stitched. I wanted the more Christmasy look🎄
