Just listen to Josef Hofmann's live performance of the piece by way of comparison. Hofmann, aside from studying with Anton Rubinstein, also had lessons from Moszkowski and he understood the elegance of the Caprice espagnol, as well as its power.

This is the only living pianist which plays everything good! Like Richter and Gilels. One of a kind. There is Kissin, -and the others.
