I drive a 2016 GS and did not expect the GS F to have so many issues. No complaints on mine.

I think it's one of those things that can get expensive quickly if not paid attention to.

Great video....the most useful by far on the pitfalls that you can encounter with these cars. Ive had a 2017 (AVS) for 5 years and outside of consumables, I ve had no issues at all (it only has 43k miles) except the carbon fibre delamination has reared its uglt head on a piece of dash trim. It's a great car that Ive no desire to replace (although it has just been joined by a GR Yaris).

Yes for the valley plate leak. They are just so new that it really hasn't had enough time for many to have that issue yet

Great job. Glad you added the AVS shocks. Mine were leaking at 10K miles.

I hope it was an one off problem, I have the AVS shocks at 28k miles and no leaks, but it is for the IS500

@@AllThingsF yup it is standard, but I hope maybe the improved upon it, I am going to reach the 30k mile mark soon. So far though the ride is comfy

Does the lexus with the 472 hp v8 versions resolve the valley plate leak or is it the same engine and all they did was change the compression ratio?

ALL of them have the issue unfortunately. It's not IF but WHEN it happens

What I've noticed that works for the chirping hpfp is using Chevron in California. It goes away about 95% of the time. When I do my cross country trips to NJ, the Chevron gas in NJ will make it chirp 100 times more louder than being in San Diego.

Interesting. I've tried non ethanol vs e10 91 or 93 octane but all the same brand. Not sure what the Chevron offers here in Texas but I'll do some investigating

That’s why when you buy a car replace your coolant with red and you won’t have the problem

I'm curious if anyone that has swapped for the red coolant had the issue yet.

I have an 08 ISF and need to get my Valley Plate resealed...I can't seem to find any Service Techs who've branched out on their own in this area to get this done....does your guy in Texas have a website/insta contact link? I wouldn't mind driving my car over to TX to have him work on it while I visit some friends and family there.
