Woman magazine analysis

In this video, we take a look at a single double page spread ('A Present For Your Kitchen') from a 1964 edition of Woman magazine. In doing so, we explore a detailed example you can use for any question which may come up for Woman in the EDUQAS A-level media studies exam.
We also go over patriarchal hegemonic norms, and revise feminist theoretical perspectives on how gender is encoded in media products through media language.
