    What determines the price of physical ETFs (ARKK, ES3) we see in the exchange? Is it due to the price of the last transaction, or is it the spot price of the fund, which is moving based on the value of the underlying assets?
    Maybe another way to ask this question is, what happens when we put in a buy order? Are we buying from the fund or the other traders in the sell queue?

      ETF prices are affected mainly the same way as stocks, supply and demand.

    With the example of Apple stock, market sentiments feels that with that car the company will do well. Let's say investors feel confident and bought in until the last bid price increase 20% more.
    Few years time the car release and the car sells is good, will it push the bid price further up more?

    • @KelvinLearnsInvesting
      @KelvinLearnsInvesting  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It should. I don't think the good car sales is priced in yet

    v informative vid. how about buying and selling. is there a limit to how much stocks the companies are selling. if I try to sell, does it mean someone has to buy in order for me to sell?

    Just wanted to ask, who controls the limit order book in Singapore? Is it The Central depository?

    • @KelvinLearnsInvesting
      @KelvinLearnsInvesting  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      CDP only keeps the stock. I think it should be SGX itself who controls the limit order book

    If airbnb now trading at 200 dollars per share . What will happen if i accidently key wrongly that i buying airbnb at 2000 dollars per share?

    • @KelvinLearnsInvesting
      @KelvinLearnsInvesting  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You will be at the front of the queue, but the system will give you the best possible price. So if the lowest sell order is $201, you will still buy at $201

      High growth will have high pe ratio. A better metrics is to use PEG ratio, which is forward looking
