Taller figures - Check Ab crunch - Check Double joints - Check Realistic faces - Eh... Some Yup, there's been some traditional action figure tropes creeping their way into Figmas, we'll see where they go with these.
Man, I really wanted this figure, I love Tsukihime (the game. The anime is hot garbage), but the price for the DX was ridiculous, and I refuse to have an incomplete Arcueid (at least in the game she is always wearing her long skirt), so yeah. Btw, the cat ears are a reference to NekoArc, her toony "alter ego" that only appears (as far as I can remember) during some gags in the game. And is a playable character in Melty Blood (the fighting game that is based on Tsukihime). Great review as always, and I don't know if you have played Nier Automata, but 2B is actually named after that frase lol even 9S is a reference to another famous philosophical german quote
As always, much appreciated! Yea that other version of Arcueid I would have preferred but if I’m lucky I can find a wired skirt for her… And thanks for the helpful info, so far I agree about the anime, seems more like a drama series(not that I’m opposed to drama), I’m gonna look into the game. I Didn’t know that about the 2B reference or 9S either, good stuff!
@@BoArtTakeOver - You're not gonna be able to crunch her very far forward, or backwards, but being a ball joint it'll let you swivel her waist, which is useful for those swinging poses. Her chest joint does let her crunch forward quite a bit though, so overall, she's a pretty good figure, just consider the fact that she's quite a bit taller than you might expect compared to other Figmas. Naofumi is also worth getting.
