A obra é prima e a interpretação da pianista é maravilhosa ,com romantismo na medida certa. A introdução , a Cadência e o Final ê o destaque ,orquestra inpecável ,boa Conduta do maestro ,Parabéns atodos , show de Espetáculo.
Wow, you can't play any better than she performed this Grieg concerto When I was a little guy, I would listen to Tchaikovsky's concerto #1 ,and I was hooked for life Thanks Sofia
Sofia Vasheruk's playing of Grieg's Piano Concerto #1 in this performance comes in a close second to her playing of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto #1 at the Youth Piano Festival Competition in Brussels, Belgium in 2013, which is also a part of her TH-cam catalog. It is interesting to watch her as she becomes more and more personally involved in the execution of it. It is a joy to watch and listen to her rendition of this masterpiece. And I note that, while the conductor and the rest of the orchestra have musical scores in front of them, Sofia is playing the entire concerto from memory, a task of some thousands of notes for her. I always enjoy listening to the opening of this concerto, which is particularly profound, for it captures the audience attention immediately, and variations of it are woven into the remainder of the concerto as well.
Bob, what a wonderful comment and I agree with you, I absolutely love her doing Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto # 1 (also without any score in front of her). The first time I listened to her I literally fell in love with her, no lie. Her personality is so overwhelming in such a beautiful and dedicated way it touches my heart with every note she plays. Bob, I'll have to figure out how to get to her You Tube catalog or can I get it automatically if I ask you tube to present it to me?
@@RobertDeMartin I believe that if you just search for her, just enter her name on the TH-cam home page, it will pull up most, if not all her catalog in their archives.
I agree with you so much. I've listened to her before so I had already fallen in love with her. She never seems to have any script in front of her. She's remarkable. And I hope someone brought all those flowers into her greeting room! 🥲
Another great one! Truly a wonder. Thank you, again, Sophia. I can only wish that I could have been there. And, lest i neglect, Kudos to this orchestra and conductor Sinaisky. This was one fantastic performance.
Sofia is a most accomplished interpreter, especially of Russian composers. The greatest aspect of her music of her music is a huge passion and that passion comes trough big time in her interpretations. This Grieg concert and Rachmaninoff 2 piano concerts, both with Russian orchestras is proof that she has committed to her classical music. I say this because she was a founding member of Siestango Quartet and I hear they are hugely successful. Her priority should be now her classical music career.
The video should be awarded for the most beautiful violinists ever seen on the scene. After all, Russia is the homeland of Beauty, while the West is the land of money and war. Congratulations to Sofia Vasheruk, delicate and sensitive interpreter of this masterpiece of piano music.
Excelente pianista y extraordinario concierto. Felicitaciones Sofía. Seguiré tu carrera ya que es magnífico tu concepto y sentir de lo musical. Mis respetos. Saludos desde Mendoza, Arg. Gustee.

She has something very special in addition to her virtuosity. Her face is so sensitive and animated. Charming.

My favorite interpreter of piano concerts. I love your passion Sofia from the first time I saw you coming into the scene in the in 2015.
Une très grande finesse dans le jeu créant une atmosphère inégalée :une référence
