Can't go wrong for $50! Ignore the haters and have fun! I recently got a Chinese 125 quad for 300 bucks, everyone told me don't get it, it's junk. I'm so glad I got it, it's awesome! Doesn't wheelie like my lt80 but it's reliable and fun, and same 3rd gear is long so it's fast!

can't go wrong with a new gasket set !!! and the hydrolic brakes just drain and refill. and keep pumping till you replace all the fuild with good fluid. and the starter if it works direct just add a direct push button. and a timing chain and it will be like new !!! the timing chain will get rid of the smoke !!! or advance it by 1 tooth !!!

I bought a 110 China quad for $50 for my kids. Replaced wire harness ran great for a while then blew up. Its now on its 3rd engine witch is a 212 predator with 30 series torque converter.. The engine swap woke the little thing up and is fun as hell for kids and adults alike. I'm 215 pounds and it will haul me over 40 mph so needless to say my kids have a blast on it
Oh nice! I’m lucky I’m on the original engine... it gets really hot for some reason but runs amazing!!
@@EthanHervig Them little engines are good for what they are the predator and 30 series was cheaper than a new replacement engine tho and mine has way more torque than it did before. kids love it and it has no problem hauling my 215 pounds on any terrain.
@@EthanHervig I have a kazuma redcat that does the same thing but I burned the valves up if you find out why it over heats lmk
Anytime you have a starter motor seize up like that, just hit it a few times and it will usually work again.
Trust me that clicking when you try to start it is the starter it happened to my four-wheeler now it's sitting in our garage on top of the stand with no motor

I found a Yamaha raptor 50cc on the side the road and all I needed is new spark plug new fuel line clean the carb air filter and new battery plastics are BAD tho pretty fun to ride honestly even tho it’s slow

Its still alive.. Has no brakes anymore, 3 automatic gears. Bald tyres chain keeps falling off, carb not sure how it holds on.. Yet its still here 108cc can't be killed

U guys are smarter than you give yourself credit for.....and nothing wrong with trial & error. Good catch on the tires too!! I just recently bought a couple quads that the tires were reversed. Did you happen to find out the make/model? I have one that I think is the same but previous owner must have hit something . No front bumper or headlights...lol

@Ethan Hervig yes, if it's what I think I had the tag was mounted on bumper or mount where bumper mounts and it was a small plate....lol. Yours has to be same.....I don't think I can post picture but I still have a picture of it. To be a 110cc and china, it actually road fairly well and had plenty of regular trail riding power. I'm getting ready to restore a 1973 Suzuki trail 90cc

Yes you can. Pull the cables off the brake safely connector switch and touch them together while starting the bike. Bam.

I had exackly the same quad but painted in purple and i remember if you go in 3rd gear it would just send you flying to your back, but it was so fun to drive and do burnouts with it
Pretty sweet ride for $50 bucks. That fender needs some zip ties. That kills it though.

I wish I had the skills these young guys have I probably would have worked on my yz250 and have it jetted right. The only thing I was concerned with is starting that engine in an enclosed area without proper ventilation. Carbon monoxide is a demon

I suggest you get a Honda 400ex them things can hurt you I have a super up race one and I did a burnout on wet grass and it had so much grip I looped it
Put fuel in it and make sure the fuel turned on

Well that was how you take the wheels off since the tires are mounted to the hubs.

@@excalibur_stone3652 That was the easiest way to do it in my opinion as it was only 2 bolts instead of like 8. But yeah when you’re changing tires taking the wheels apart is the way to go for sure.

At 1.18 he said it was a break lever but seeing the shifter and when he said it won’t start without it it was obvious it is a clutch. Not to be mean but you should know this stuff
No lol it’s semi auto that brake needs to be pulled in as a safety feature. I wish it was a clutch..

Well I’m sure everyone has $50 to spend on a quad, I mean the paint was like $10 and the battery was $15 but other than a few other things I would say it was a $150 build. But yeah it took me weeks to finish.

I'll trade u a sick gsxr600 that just needs a front stay and cowl fairing (due to a deer) for 2 reliable big boy dirtbike:) nothing bent on the gsxr, everything is there, still rides amazing just not as pretty. Figured I'd offer before I put a new fairing kit on it, however your parents may not want you to have a sport bike lol

The gsxr is a nice bike tho, not some heap of junk lol the fairing kit I found will make it even sexier🤣 just catch myself riding my superduke 1290 more than anything so have considered letting the gsxr go in replace of some dirt bikes. Just figured I would mention it. Keep up the content and fearlessness to dive in to bikes,quads,engines ect, not many like that and the skill is dying. You will get far in life sir!

Itll run for maybe a week but the harness will straight up fall apart for the electronics
It hasn’t yet! The lights stopped working completely lol but it runs great!

I could never figure out the brand but Roketa seemed to be the closest one. Just look on Amazon and eBay, they have tons of parts that fit pretty much all Chinese quads
