I bought a mower and blower used it last week no issues, this week started mowing in the evening, got thru some of the yard before the 1st battery quit. Plugged in the battery and got the yellow light... I put the battery in the freezer for like 10-15 min and put back on the charger and it started charging. The other 2 batteries did the same thing, so I put them in the freezer as well and was able to get them to charge once the batteries cooled down

Bummer on the battery man..at least they have a proper warranty 👍🏼 its more than likely a dead cell.. very easily repaired..(if not under warranty) I put the setting on high on all the grass I mow.. it helps to keep the weeds down and the grass will be a lot healthier.. it also saves the blades from sand. rocks..and gravel..
You have a riding mower..you were having trouble with it.. I offered to help fix it.. you said "will do".. If you make a video of what is wrong with your rider..I will do my best to help try to help fix it.. it will save you mad cash 👌🏼👍🏼.. If not..we can always make it go mad fast 🤘🏼😎

Just bought my Ryobi lawnmower today. One of th barreries went dead after 40 minutes. Finished the front lawn and started mowing the back yard. As soon as I put the battery It goes to testing mode or the yellow/amber light. These lawn mowers sit for a long time on the shelves. Update after 25 years my battery that was on testing mode /yellow started charging.

I’ve had 4 batteries go dead this year. Ryobi replaced them all but it’s such an annoyance, I’ll never buy ryobi again. I’ve never had this issue with any of my DeWalt stuff.

Mine did the same thing. I let the battery sit for an hour after use and then tried charging again and it worked. I think it’s just an overheat failsafe.

Man that sux about the battery. Can you try jumping it from the other one. Connect positive to positive and negative to negative. Only for a few seconds.

I am but not sure what to do about it. But i know at work that light means reconditioning the battery.

May be overheated. Let it sit for 30 minutes and try again. Happened to me, was using my leaf vacuum when I accidentally vacuumed up an aluminum soda can. Battery stopped working and felt hot. Went to charge it and got the yellow error light. I let it sit for 30 minutes and it began charging properly again.
