I bought the same watch in June and changed the strap to a white silicone one. I wore the watch all summer, enjoying it. The watch is very bright and catches the attention of passersby (twice people even approached me to ask what kind of watch it is). Now my strap has started to turn slightly yellow. Thanks for the video showing various strap options. I liked the dark blue strap and black ones.
My theory on why the minute counter behaves as it does on reset is due to the ETA movement selection. I believe Swatch is using ETA G10.962 which has moonphase at 2:00 and 12 hour/60 minute counter at 10:00. The other Moonswatches use G10.212 with 1/10 and 60 minute counters. My theory is that Swatch left off the hour hand and is only using the minute hand on the 10:00 subdial. When it's resetting, it's actually resetting 12 hours instead of 60 minutes. I slowed down your video and sure enough that minute hand spins around 12 times during the reset. Most quartz chronographs only count up to 60 minutes then stop. I bet if you left the chrono running longer than 60 minutes it would continue counting. On the Jupiter it might only count up to 60 minutes then stop. Just silly that Snoopy is not lumed. Anyway, thanks for posting the video and congrats on picking up your watch.
Nice analysis 👍🏼, I didn't know a quartz Moonphase movement was a thing. I'm a very practical person and it's a function that I rarely require, so haven't looked into them much. I saw that movement also have a date, but no way they could have kept that for the MoonSwatch 😅. Are you thinking of getting this Snoopy?
@@timeandtorque Oh I didn't even realize it had a date. Maybe the snoopy has a ghost date under the dial or ETA made a special no date version. Unfortunately I don't live near a Swatch shop so a snoopy is not in my future unless I can find online for decent price.
I'm hoping the flipper price will quickly come down. Now that all the MoonSwatch are routinely restocked, your chance of walking in and finding something is better. Plus the flippers don't make as much profit as before and have to hold on to the watches for longer (all the BlancSwatch that I've seen on grey market here haven't sold in months)... the more we don't buy from them, the sooner the lose interest.
I've found them on a few sites (of course they are all from China...) I was lucky to know a supplier here in Bahrain @bhr_watch, I've found them in Dubai @trendwatch.ae and also in Europe www.wristbuddys.com. Good luck 👍🏼

Great video and love the different strap options (especially black leather for the office look). Congrats on the pick up and the first video!!

Where did you get the straps?
Do you have links to the straps you showed in this video?
I've found them on a few sites (of course they are all from China...) I was lucky to know a supplier here in Bahrain @bhr_watch, I've found them in Dubai @trendwatch.ae and also in Europe www.wristbuddys.com. Good luck 👍🏼
For the UK @clamcases.co.uk also have them.
Great video , Keep it up.
Now they have a black "new moon" version. Just saw it on the website. Were these released together?
No, the black is released tomorrow (8th April) on the New Moon. So I could do a comparison video.
Can i ask where you got that strap please?
Mine are from @bhr_watch and I think these carry the same @trendwatch.ae @wristbuddys
For the UK @clamcases.co.uk also have them.
What make is that yellow strap?
StrapsCo.com : Perforated Leather Rally Strap - Quick Release. Love them, I have a few plus some other their other Rally Straps.
What is the lug width ?
Lung width is 20mm across all MoonSwatch (and Moon Watch). The BlancSwatch is 22mm but has Hex screws and not spring bars.
