That footage of the Cefiro blowing up will always make me smile. "Oh No!!! Oh My God! This is the worst thing I've ever recorded!" Taylor was so casual about the whole thing that the contrast between driver & witness is just hilarious.

I’m all for converting to the metric system. Lol I always measure in mm on small stuff. Inches/ft on big stuff since that’s what my tape measure reads in should get a metric one. Lol
For the oil pressure just swap out the sensor for a small analog gauge screwed into the sensor port to confirm the actual oil pressure. Cheap and you can then put the sensor back in when you sure of the actual reading

My built k24 turbo with ported type s oil pump on cold start is 100+psi oil pressure. That’s nothing to worry about. Perfectly normal with a k series and ported type s pump

Oil pressure is always high when the motor / oil is cold. It is thicker when cold. Wait for it to warm up and it will settle to where you would expect. You are idling very high giving higher oil pressure too.
Love the new shop Taylor, I wondered if you plan to put in a exhaust evac system in shop? I have worked with and without and they sure are nice when the weather sucks.

First cold start you are probably maxing out the sensor if it is a 100psi sensor. Not unheard of on certain applications to have that high of an oil pressure on cold start.
Hey Taylor love the content as always. All your talk of batteries reminded me of a product I bought a few years ago. Their called AntiGravity batteries and they make some super lightweight and super high quality batteries that can be mounted in any orientation. They're a little expensive but I've had one on my motorcycle for nearly 4 years now and absolutely no issues. Just a thought, keep up the great work!

The Cefiro deserves to be the cars and coffee car imo, unique with a KA. Get it visually dialled on those phat wheels. Already have 2 drifters now with the miata on reserve
if you still have issues with the power steering pump drawing too much current from the system and causing voltage drop, you could try running a subwoofer capacitor. they are for big ass subs that cause voltage drops that temporarily dim headlights etc. super easy to wire in also
11:35 Iridium plugs are for commuter cars and Priuses. For real power you can't beat copper plugs. Yeah, you'll have to change them more often but they undeniably deliver a hotter spark.
congrats . . great job brother. . this is an actual dream car for me. . even your parts list is probably 90 percent of what mine would be. . ive had many S-chassis cars. but never a Cefiro. i really like them . very unique. y all you have to do for the looks of the car is put some bumpers and skirts on the stock car and it totally transforms it. . Nissan and Toyota of the same years are similar like that. then wheels - other than blitzo3 or work VSKF(unless you have them already , cause those look amazing on anything of course. . lmao this can basically go 2 ways in my opinion , just need to try some 3 piece , workmeisters, Lmgt 1, 2 or 3(whatever can be found) , or even some panasports. of course in white with your bronze color car. or instead of going heavy 3 piece, maybe some lighter 6 spoke like Enkei 6spoke, of course the gram lights(which are actually reasonable price for new ones). or of course some Ray's Volks te37(which the price is out of my budget, like always. .. lol Or of course jump to the lmgt 4, which i think look good and arent TE price anyway, love the car peace

yes it's making 100psi it's normal on cold start at high idle it will go lower as it warm up and the idle go down.

Not on these engines. From what I’ve been told these are the way to go. I always run coppers in everything else. LS. Sr. Etc
I put a fresh 2JZ in my e30. It makes 100psi oil pressure and once it’s hot idle is down around 22psi

At 20:40 something moves on the left front of the car (driver perspective) looks like a cable getting sucked into the belt

My k hits 100 psi to I think ur fine but u can cross reference voltages from the sensor manufacturer to ur set up in ur ecu

All of the k24 that I have done the type s pump on had 100psi cold start and would drop to 60ish when warm.
