I'm pre-med but I'm a little late in the game. I'm planning on going to medical school but I'm 21 and a freshman in college. Idk I feel like I'm too old. I still want to do it but I constantly have that nagging feeling of trying to play catchup because of the age difference. I already feel it every time I attend class. And also, I'm majoring in bio but I'm planning on switching to humanities. Do you know how common that is?
Elizabeth i know this question was meant for Brittny but i think I can answer this question for you. I'm in my late 20s and I'm a first year med student. why this late? because life happened. That didn't mean that I didn't succeed during my first semester. So don't be scared about age it's just a number; it doesnt affect how admission committees view you. as long as you have passion determimation you will succeed in that endeavor that is med school. you're gonna be alright. good luck.
Elizabeth You're never too old. If you look in Brittny bio, you'll see her age and she's killing it at medical school. This is your journey so enjoy it. Don't major in biology or chemistry cause other pre meds are, major in humanities if you really like it. You can major in anything as long as you take prerequisites for medical school. Good luck on your journey to medical school!(I'm premed too lol)

Now thats a good question. I don't think I've ever heard anyone answer that before.
You get kicked out of school. You are not supposed to fail if you are a med student ie a future doctor. When you screw up patients die.
