Ya, they can tax your patience when putting a thrower or blower on and off. Two people sure make it easier. They are heavy, but a good flat surface sure helps getting them on and off.
I have a Jacobsen, that someone painted blue, it has a Homelite Textron model plate on it. Any way, it has the front hydraulic ports. And I hooked a hydraulic cylinder to the top deflector on the chute for up and down movement. Some nice to have that. But tractor is not running at the moment. Need an engine.
    Have a great day.

Thank you very much. I been messing with the same set up on my open side 145. And this video made it much more clear to me. Do you have any info on routing the belt?

How does the tractor steer with that blower on? I have one of those beasts, very ratty, but never had it on a tractor, I just know it is HEAVY!
I ask because I have a Bolens H-14 with a "built for it" Johnson loader & need Popeye arms to steer the thing!

I upgraded the steering, with the thrust washers we sell on the website. You never steer them while not moving. Things break. Always be moving back or forth when steering, when you can. Saves the 50 yr old steering pin in the Ross steering box

I just bought one of those that’s missing the springs. Would you be able to tell me your chain length, and maybe some dimensions of those springs, or the number on the tag?

Hi, unfortunately that snowblower is long gone as with the tractor. I buy and sell a lot of tractors. Someone once commented they used modified garage door springs? These looked like factory ends. 12" x 2"??? Sorry. Same with the chain it is a std. Roller chain. When I broke one yrs ago, tractor supply had them. I bought a roll and a master link.
