the alligator thing is wild. Like unsafe for everyone involved, and highly irresponsible of the “wild life guy” dobrik had apparently (did not know about that previously). If I knew there was a possibility people were going to react by freaking out (which ofc they did, they didn’t know it was going to happen) I wouldn’t bring those animals into it. Because something that can set an animal off, any animal but especially wild apex predators, is someone screaming and scrambling to get away. Wtf was anyone involved in that thinking.
A real professional wouldn’t even allow this. To bring an alligator to someone’s apartment without the proper training/education and knowing the people will be surprised it’s just not something a real expert would do. They would also say you shouldn’t move suddenly, yell or something to potentially trigger the alligator. I’m SHOCKED no one got hurt from this.
That’s what I immediately thought. Either this guy (the professional/handler) didn’t know or he isn’t completely all in for the welfare of these animals. A tight space (inside a LIVING ROOM) with lots of people and lots of screaming close to any animals face is sooooo bad! Doesn’t take a professional to know that
Why did david think uploading video footage of him lying to them about what is going to happen to them as a “prank” was a good idea? Or why did Matt think it was a good idea to talk about David setting his face on fire? Like david having uploaded footage of an alligator almost biting that girls hand is stupid af because Jeff can use ALL of that against him in court to prove a history of reckless behavior and disregard for other peoples safety.
Carly, Erin and Matt are genuinely good people who unfortunately just drank the koolaid at the time. they distanced themselves a bit before anything even really came out. idk. I feel for those who are easily manipulated
Where I’m from they had a croc and alligator rescue that people could visit and learn about these beautiful animals. They use measures to bind their mouths closed when around any visitors so they cannot bite, like said in the video by Ethan there’s no way those things are trained they’re merely in a docile state ( or the trainers are super shitty and medicate the animals before hand ). But yeah no they can mess you up even when babies, even if they’re the small alligators. And this was so insanely irresponsible
Where I grew up, they used to have the high school graduates take a photo with a real wild tiger. Like sit next to this “trained” wild animal for a photo. Well it took a 17 year old losing her life to put a stop to that tradition. She moved too quickly I think and attacked and killed her. Don’t know why ppl think wild animals are trainable. They may be too an extent but they are still unpredictable af
I never watched David's vlogs but the lack of care for his friends lives and safety is disturbing. Even the Jackass crew had medics on site ready to take them to hospital if something went wrong. David had more than enough money to do the same but didn't because he didn't care about anything other than views.
Trying to hype the animal thing up as dangerous and malicious is so silly. Literally every single late night show has done the exact same thing. The handlers are there and they know these animals very well. That baby alligator couldn’t do any real damage. SteveO would clamp them onto his nipples for fun. So ridiculous. Find a real controversy if you want to tear someone down.
It’s odd to me the girls in the clip say “it would be a real test of friendship to see who would sue him” like a true friend of David wouldn’t do that but what kind of “friend”would put someone in that position in the first place?? Put you in harms way for views and money? That’s not a real friend!
They (David and co) started a fire near a wooded area in LA a few years ago in a video while there were crazy fires raging everywhere in California. Nobody even called him out I was like wtf man.....
David is absolutely ridiculous I have always thought that guy is an idiot, the sad thing about that alligator clip they probably had to sedate it so that it was able to be in that room what for their entertainment disgusting, more money than sense and puts his friends lives at risk constantly, i hope he gets taken to the cleaners by jeff. Peace and love to all x ❤
Thankfully gators are just like that by default, no sedation required. They tend to be still as a rock until feeding/fighting, at best you'll get a low growling sound as a warning right beforehand, at worst you get no indication before they bite. The prior scenario is generally when someone is encroaching on their space and making them uncomfortable. The latter is when they are acting reactively to something sudden/frightening.. such as someone patting their arm, putting hands near their face, screaming and flailing around.. the only reason this probably didn't end in tragedy is because the alligator is used to being put in chaotic situations because of it's dickhead handler.
When a shark bites a person, if the bite gets into the bone at all the entire limb is amputated to prevent infection. It is possible that if that alligator bit her finger and got into her bone, which wouldn’t be very hard for a gator that size on someone’s hand, that her entire hand or arm below the elbow would have to go.
I think that is a little bit of a stretch. No doctor is amputating limbs to prevent infection. Maybe in a small bit of cases that does happen. Most doctors would starts a round of antibiotics as a preventative and monitor for infection.
Those alligators are in a controlled aquarium style environment and not in dirty swamp water. They still have bacteria in their mouth, but since they live in filtered water and aren’t eating rotting meat… the bacteria levels aren’t crazy or unknown.
@@ThatGirlLibthat’s not true at all. With that logic human bites would be safe because we clean our mouths 2x a day. While a human bite is the MOST dangerous bite for infection.
I've had my tiny kitten draw a crazy amount of blood from me so a baby alligator could definitely do damage. Obviously it's not going to be anywhere near what a fully grown one can do but it would be incredibly painful nonetheless and could require some stitching if it was bad enough especially if it locked its jaw and refused to let go how are you going to pry its mouth open without hurting the person or the poor animal that didn't want to be in that situation.
^^^ baby and adult gators are just threats for different reasons. Babies have very sharp teeth that easily break the skin (including arteries if it gets at the arm). Adult gator teeth aren't as sharp, the danger with them is the bone crushing pressure and ability to tear off limbs. Adults are obviously more dangerous but baby gators past the size of a little chirping newborn r no joke.
@@user-xd7dt6gr8l I don't doubt you for a second I was just remembering when my puppy was 4 months old how crazy sharp his teeth were just his little baby teeth and he wasn't even putting his all into it loll
Def not cool to do that to anyone (obvs). Gators are quick af. But also, my innards combust when ppl disrespect animals. That poor stressed baby getting screamed at in a gawtdamn living room
have they talked ab David paying Jason to get bit by a fucking snake???? like i swear there was at least one vlog where he was at the animal place and the handler took the snake out and held it while it bit jason and then wouldn’t let go of his arm.
16:07 the smart lawyer move would be to settle and ask Jeff to sign an NDA. Going to trial means everything is public and there’s a solid chance the jury will find in Jeff’s favor, which is infinitely worse PR. I’m guessing the lawyer advised David to settle and David refused
I'm gonna guess he wasn't in regular contact with an attorney or so much of this stuff never would have happened. He initially was paying the medical and then renigged on his offer, so it seems he probably didn't mention this to the attorney for a few weeks and at that point it was tough to rescue the situation.
Sad to see all those that were brained wash to take what he was putting them through... the power/money dynamic in those "friendships" was hella strong. Like jeff said, sad to see that jason is still having to kiss David's ass because he doesnt have the confidence that he will make it on his own...maybe he wont, but he isnt willing to try
u should look at the most recent emergency intercom episode where they talked a little bit about how david dobrik talked to them abt ketamine in an elevator 😭
Knowing the incident they’re talking about with Jonah, yes it was entirely Jonah’s idea. David just happened to film it (even saying it was Jonah’s idea) because he figured it was crazy enough for his vlog
In the Everglades there’s was a photo op with real gator after an airboat ride. I was wondering how they kept visitors from being bit in the pics. The handler said there is a fishing line wrapped around his mouth. You can’t see it unless you look closely or feel for it. Apparently gators have poor strength on opening their jaws and more power closing them. If that gator never opened its mouth there, maybe they had something similar? 👀
This is true, You can basically hold a gator's mouth shut by punching it with two fingers. I HAVE to imagine the handler did that if he allowed that guy to take a selfie so close to the gators head, but who knows..
He's also mentioned a few stories of injuries he inflicted on his childhood friends ilya and alex. If i remember right, alexs injury caused him to lose a sports scholarship
the thing with david was things going wrong got people more hype and talking about him and with their mentality of how the whole gang would go against anyone if they sued bc it's a 'test of friendship' i truly think his mentality was 'we are like jackass' and that if people were upset if things went to far and actually took legal action they are in the wrong and snakey. when he got injured himself when he cut open his hand bc they were throwing a glass bottle his insticts were get the content and that was himself who he had self preservation for. in his mind he is doing his friends a favour by putting them in the vlogs, so he can do riskier things to them to make up for the big favour he is doing by getting them noticed and kind of careers
They either all signed their lives away, which is most likely, or a class action will eventually appear. The amount of evidence is staggering! Lawyers have been drooling about it for years I bet
I used to admire David. I looked up to him. But sadly it’s hard to support someone who’s done these things. Shoutout Ethan on covering the biggest stories on the internet.
You can def train an alligator, they're actually super smart. They still react to people screaming and acting insane though. It's not a fucking service dog. They require super cautious handling. Professional trainers still do not let their alligators into situations like this, because it's so dangerous (and also such a huge liability?? you can't have someone sign a liability waiver if they don't know what they're signing up for). The only people supposed to have direct interaction even with trained alligators are professionals (or zoologists/similar making educational content with the trainer present). Even the trainers act with caution because small mistakes can lead to tragic accidents, these are not domesticated animals. The only gators that the public are supposed to interact with in any capacity are babies with restrained mouths, for a limited period of time to not stress the animal, again, with the professional directly present. Not only is david being irresponsible, but so is the owner of the gators. Someone that reckless probably does not have their gators properly trained in the first place (and babies won't be well trained yet).
To play devils advocate here: the way the gator behaves it was probably heavily sedated for the bit. (Talking about the first video of course) Also i think gators are pretty territorial animals so in a new environment they would not be as dangerous. Still animal abuse tho at the very least.
As someone into reptiles. That baby alligator definitely could have removed some of her fingers. At reptile shows they always tape or hold their mouths for people to pet or hold them.
And I guarantee everyone of those people would do it all over again. They all loved the clout and attention it came with. Seth texted David on multiple occasions to make out with Jason again. I’m not buying that anyone in the vlog squad are victims. Why don’t you talk about the stunt double that became paralyzed while filming Harry Potter. Or any of the hundreds of stunt doubles that got seriously injured or died. Don’t tell me these guys had no idea there were risks involved. It’s silly.
You shouild make AB spend 2 hours locked in a room with a wild chimp, would be sooooo funny... make sure theres no ambulence around either, would be hilarious.
He literally would hold his flamethrower so close to the squad as well. I remember seeing Jason crawl to get away because it wasn’t safe to stand up it was that close to him.

Doesn’t take a professional to know that
I wonder if they gave it meds to subdue it?
@@sarahelizabeth8585 Exactly this. An ethical, trained professional would never have signed off on this.
It's obviously sedated. Come on now
wow next he should blindfold his friends and stick them in a room with an exposed radioactive source .
I'm so sad about the falling out with Trisha bc she would love you trashing Jason 😂
why did carly and erin think talking ab all the illegal and dangerous shit their cult leader did was a good idea
Why are you blaming the woman?
@@Ug1ibruh
Why did david think uploading video footage of him lying to them about what is going to happen to them as a “prank” was a good idea? Or why did Matt think it was a good idea to talk about David setting his face on fire? Like david having uploaded footage of an alligator almost biting that girls hand is stupid af because Jeff can use ALL of that against him in court to prove a history of reckless behavior and disregard for other peoples safety.
That video was from years ago, they probably didn’t give a second thought talking about their friends dangerous antics.
remember when david low key had jason hold his arm out to a python, and when it latched its teeth into him, david just laughed and kept filming?
*Ok anybody who's ever touched an alligator can tell you there's NO CHANCE of mistaking it for fake. No inanimate object feels that way.*
In fairness if just briefly patting the arm or back of a grown adult could maybe pass as a very well made fake.
Uhhh alligator made things feel like them 😭 I’m in Florida and people have bags, shoes, jackets it’s sad
These aren’t normal brained people lol. Brain empty no think.
It's wild to me that Daniel Dobre is still making 7-8 figures on Snapchat in 2023
“Reckless endangerment? Never heard of it” - David Dobrik, probably
I haven't watched h3 in a while so don't come for me if it's her new hairstyle but hila looks so pretty with the waves!!
Are there any updates on when the Casey Neistat documentary is going to be available for streaming?
I thought that too, how come it was so still to make multiple people think it was fake….?
@@user-xd7dt6gr8l so sad 😞 handler surely should know better 😕 how theg get away with all they do is unbelievable. X
New fear unlocked😢
I think that is a little bit of a stretch. No doctor is amputating limbs to prevent infection. Maybe in a small bit of cases that does happen. Most doctors would starts a round of antibiotics as a preventative and monitor for infection.
@@lifethroughaglamcam “it is possible”
Those alligators are in a controlled aquarium style environment and not in dirty swamp water. They still have bacteria in their mouth, but since they live in filtered water and aren’t eating rotting meat… the bacteria levels aren’t crazy or unknown.
@@ThatGirlLibthat’s not true at all. With that logic human bites would be safe because we clean our mouths 2x a day. While a human bite is the MOST dangerous bite for infection.
I wish swoop would do a full dobrik doc
It’s the jaw strength had he actually bit her and locked down he absolutely could have done damage
That baby could actually have very easily taken her fingers off. People underestimate how much damage even the little ones can do.
Just when you think david dobrik couldn't be any worse, they reveal he and his crew are anti vaxxers lol
the workers of the david dobrik industrial complex need to unionize
It’s also gross that he would never do anything himself. He would just make all his monkeys dance in front of the camera for him
16:07 the smart lawyer move would be to settle and ask Jeff to sign an NDA.
People just need to leave kids and animals alone.
9:10 To be fair David is a dangerous predator they should be used to it
Sad to see all those that were brained wash to take what he was putting them through... the power/money dynamic in those "friendships" was hella strong. Like jeff said, sad to see that jason is still having to kiss David's ass because he doesnt have the confidence that he will make it on his own...maybe he wont, but he isnt willing to try
As a Good Influences enjoyer, Erin rubs me the wrong way more often than the others, but people are complex
Me too sometimes I like her but she has a lot of moments we’re she seems uptight and snobby
Dude Erin is just telling her it’s no big deal wtf that was majorly creepy
My brain isnt working, is the cohost actually in the room with them or is she green screened in??? 🧐🧐
she's there! cam photoshopped a background for her it's greenscreen 🥰
She’s sitting at a desk to the left of Hila 😊
Is that Pokimane?
Animal abuse
Why does she talk like a high pitch child

u should look at the most recent emergency intercom episode where they talked a little bit about how david dobrik talked to them
abt ketamine in an elevator 😭

Hila is looking exceptionally beautiful in this vid fr
5:19 the reason they’re so wealthy so fast is BECAUSE they aren’t doing it correctly or legally.
Knowing the incident they’re talking about with Jonah, yes it was entirely Jonah’s idea. David just happened to film it (even saying it was Jonah’s idea) because he figured it was crazy enough for his vlog
Hila’s hair today 😻
Fr our queen is glowing!!!!
That chick kept cutting off hila, made this hard to watch
I’ve always hated David. Even when he was on top on YT I never understood people who were fans of him. The ultimate pick me. So ick. Poor animals 💔
I didn't know people still used Snapchat to be honest. Who's the audience for it? Millenials who also use Facebook?
Honest to god Snapchat kind of died in 2017 but its still hanging on. I remember being on there when I was like 10 and now I'm 17
James Charles creeps on teens on Snapchat. So i guess the audience is 23 year old men and preteens
i live in the netherlands and a lot of gen z teens/young adults use it. at least in my area tho
Peace and love, please do not have pokimane on here. 👎
the thing with david was things going wrong got people more hype and talking about him and with their mentality of how the whole gang would go against anyone if they sued bc it's a 'test of friendship'
i truly think his mentality was 'we are like jackass' and that if people were upset if things went to far and actually took legal action they are in the wrong and snakey. when he got injured himself when he cut open his hand bc they were throwing a glass bottle his insticts were get the content and that was himself who he had self preservation for. in his mind he is doing his friends a favour by putting them in the vlogs, so he can do riskier things to them to make up for the big favour he is doing by getting them noticed and kind of careers
that's my opinion anyway since it's the only way I can see them rationalizing everything even if it is a shit rationalization.
David Dobrick is the IRL version of Chris Mclean
I'm pretty sure the gator is drugged.....
Who is the girl? She’s not a permanent member right?
I hope they watch the vlog we’re they pranked Gabbie Hanna with the old man mask and made he think there was an intruder. She was genuinely terrified.
They either all signed their lives away, which is most likely, or a class action will eventually appear. The amount of evidence is staggering! Lawyers have been drooling about it for years I bet
Pretending they don’t watch Just Trish for 30 min
baby alligators teeth are like razors. they’re not as big and thick as the adults, so it’s like getting sliced by glass
19:54 Natalie with her goat eyes 😂😂😂😂 THAT is one of the most dangerous squad members
I used to admire David. I looked up to him. But sadly it’s hard to support someone who’s done these things. Shoutout Ethan on covering the biggest stories on the internet.
podcast chat vs highlight channel commenters
Hila looks like Billie eilish real bad
It’s silly.
Not to be mean but twitch girl is kind of annoying, she talks too much
David is a good topic!
Not a fan of pokimane being on as a guest low key.. 👀
You shouild make AB spend 2 hours locked in a room with a wild chimp, would be sooooo funny... make sure theres no ambulence around either, would be hilarious.
blindfolded
Carly, Erin, and Matt are the only sane vlog squad adjacent people
Why are you so obsessed with Dobrik? The guy has most likely learned his lesson
He literally would hold his flamethrower so close to the squad as well. I remember seeing Jason crawl to get away because it wasn’t safe to stand up it was that close to him.
When he put that orange baboon tarantula on Liza !!!
Holy shit, did he really? I’m a tarantula keeper, and OBTs are affectionately referred to as “orange bitey things” by keepers because they’re prone to being feisty. But they’re old world tarantulas, so their venom is extremely potent. It could’ve been really debilitating if it bit her.
6:35 this chick really is starting to annoy me she’s so pick me energy and keeps cutting off hila and keeps making everything about her everything that’s happening she’s makes about herself I just wish she would shut up like everyone else bc she’s talking more than everyone combined…
she’s the guest? and they clearly don’t care. if it bothers u then just stop watching lmao, there are several other episodes that u can watch. and she’s not ‘pick me energy’ or whatever that means, shes just having fun 💀
