"Pick of the Day" - 1952 Fender Telecaster and Carr Mercury V

- Without a doubt, the twang of a Telecaster is one of the most recognizable electric guitar sounds, and none deliver that tone like a vintage blackguard Tele. Today's guitar is in great original condition, with only a replaced nut, and its bridge pickup delivers Tele tone in spades. A lightweight and great playing neck that has been smoothed out nicely through years of playing. Today, we have Aaron Hiebert plugging this beauty into an equally excellent (though much younger) Carr Mercury V!

this is THE ONE! Wow. The perfect edge of breakup Telecaster tone. I love the tight focus shots on that textured pickguard. Amazing guitar. Thanks for sharing it!
The "V" is for 6V6...
Its NOT Mercury 5. the V is for the 6V6 tubes in it
