Asirel and Pet return for another episode! Their story (and Asirel's in particular) is so exciting to dive into and dissect. They are both different to other characters in the Sakuverse, and I anticipate continuing on. Because of the timeline, as it doesn't follow the upload schedule, I can play around more with both story and character, though I'm not sure how I'll go about creating the next episodes in terms of keeping it chronological.
I'll think about that more in future. For now, I hope you enjoy!

Their dynamic is so interesting to me. The listener has very clear motivators but is also a completely loose canon. Like we are one glance from a pretty assistant or acquaintance away from going on a yandere murder rampage. Question is whether Asirel overestimated his own control in this situation or not. Also it’s kinda sad because at the end of the day listener is just desperate for some genuine affection and someone who tells them they are proud of them. And yes Asirel can and does do that but at the end of the day it’s a business exchange, his love is conditional and easy to loose. They both know that and I think this is or will slowly drive the listener increasingly more desperate or slightly insane. Because is it that much different from Ivan?

I was just thinking about you - the pfp plagues me for years on this ASMR journey.
It's also something to ponder if whether the listener's needs are something attainable to begin with? Like, is the listener too far gone to the point where nothing will satiate their desires?
I feel bad for the listener. They probably miss how Ivan used to care for them. We know from the first ep the listener was Ivan’s prized possession he always gave them whatever they wanted. Even though they weren’t seen much by the public, Ivan would talk about them as if he was obsessed, and the listener loved that. Now, they want someone who feels that way about them. But Asirel doesn’t trust them enough to share his future plans, even after six months. That hurts the listener, making them lash out in frustration. It’s even worse knowing Lillian knows what Asirel plans, but the listener is left in the dark. All they want is real affection, like when they wanted Asirel to say he was proud of them. It was really sad, but maybe, just maybe, Asirel will start to trust them more in the future. ;(😭

This dynamic is so good. Both are superior to others but also to each other, which makes their dynamic so well balanced. Asirel has the experience and mistrust of humans, strategic while pet is impulsive and craves affection, something that Asirel puts second. Which leads to pet lashing out. God, this is so good. Can't wait to see more, maybe some backstory of pet pre-vampire??
