damn all the side characters did well with their voice acting, instead of listening to an audio this almost felt like as if im watching a drama series by the way everybody voice acted. i love lore & this sounds like it has alot of angst to unpack, looks like this series is going to be intense. ig this new series means saku's other audios are almost going to end? cant wait to see how things unfold.

I was like "Woah, new reccomendation!" BUT NO IT WAS MADE BY KING CRUMPET, SAKU. I'm excited to see how this new series will bloom, anything that Saku makes will get you pulled into the lore and desperate for a new chapter! I already know that Saku put a lot of effort into this and this will be another hit series. Your voice is filled with passion, you definitely sound more professional in this audio. I lost it when he said we don't mean anything to him. Burst into tears the next second. The story, the drama, the new characters, everything is absolutly fantastic. I will listen to this audio over and over again until the next part. I lived every second of it. I felt like i was there. That good it was. I really like the part when "we" storm out of the room and close the door, you can hear the glass breaking it on the other side. I like to think that Zaros was the one throwing it, not really proud of how he threated us or what he said. Tho...he was speaking facts probably. But again, amazing script and how you delivered to us, i love every second of it. 💖 Thank you for the fantastic new series! Can't wait to hear more! 💖
AHHHH i can’t believe we have a new character now!! It’s mind blowing to see how you’ve evolved Saku !! While listening, i had a bunch of huge theories that i think will happen in the series (or not lmao) and i wanted to share some! these might be long so be prepared: The trials will be biased- this is an obvious observation but like i really expect the trials to favor the listeners royal traditions instead of Zaros. (The queen did state that they won’t be biased but cmon now, sarula has only been ruled by blood family members and no one has contested in YEARS) Roena(the queen) will do anything to make sure the listener gets the throne. I feel like listener will realize that the trials are biased (since their not stupid) and will confront Roena about it, i’m not just talking a little small talk, i mean like full on yelling, shouting, objects being shattered, tears in the confrontation. Maybe something like this: Listener: “What are you doing? Do you not believe in my abilities to win?” Roena : “I am doing this for you! I will not let a low life kingdom take the throne, i will do anything to make sure of that…” Maybe Zaros overhears the conversation? or a Maid and word gets out how the royal family are complete losers? Not really sure…this would probably give some character development to Listener( proving that Listener has changed over the years in contrast to what Zaros keeps saying) There will be an assassination attempt-It’s a historical fantasy(?) role play so i have no doubt in mind this will happen. At first i was leaning towards listener being the target but it makes more sense if it’s Zaros. The Athalans(hope i wrote it right) are the new royal edition in the empire, not only that but they immediately contested for the throne? That will cause high hysteria around the empire for sure. Lots of people will be angry about this, but i don’t really see a civilian doing it. Maybe someone inside the palace, who has authority but can stay invisible. It happens and word gets out (obviously). this would put Zaros more in favor to the throne, some would speculate that Listeners family would have something to do with it and are trying to sabotage the Athalans. (Obviously listener has nothing to do with this, but Roena? possibly). I also feel like that weapon of choice will be poison, especially the one Zaros and Listener enjoyed in this episode. The wine is limited, expensive, and only comes out twice a year, who else would be able to afford such wine? The sarula family. I also see Listener taking care of Zaros and trying to help him( maybe a little comfort),which would strengthen their friendship OR the attempt could possibly weaken their relationship, making them more cautious of each other. Listeners mask slips and falls for a moment- maybe it happens at a royal event, a trial, in the village, or in a quiet room. Regardless, it still happens and when it does it is not pretty. I feel like Zaros will be at fault here since he has such a big mouth. He probably says something he shouldn’t have, going too far. (I wanna say it may have something to do with Listeners father, since we haven’t been introduced to him yet). Because of that little comment, listener just breaks, and finally Zaros will get to see Listeners true self, behind the mask. Zaros perception of Listener may change, already shocked with their vulnerable state and maybe some comfort here and there. This will be the chance for listener to say what they truly feel, maybe some apologies there too. It will just be a small moment, but they will both be able to be vulnerable to each other, expressing their true feelings and reminiscing on times where life was easier. Angry Love Confession- So i’m going to widely assume that this series is an Enemies to Lovers and that hopefully we get a happy ending. Obviously there will be more characters in the series and i’m going on a wild guess that Listener has a few others friends ( excluding Zaros). Listener is yknow kind, caring, gentle, and friendly to Friend xyz and Zaros is jealous of that. They’re both enemies and ended their past friendship on bad terms so, Zaros seeing Listner has changed and made new friends is infuriating , like a “you were willing to change but not for me” moment. Listener will take notice of this jealousy, then another confrontation, blah blah blah some arguing than the cliche “i’ve always loved you”. teehee not that i mind tho. Hopefully listener and Zaros have been building a new friendship prior to the confession so it feels a bit natural. It will end in a marriage (if it’s a happy ending..)- I’m leaning that listener wins the throne (even thought it may look like Zaros is in favor.) I feel like Zaros + Listener will have put this whole rivalry behind them and focus on actually just helping the people and doing what they can. This will probably bring a peace between Salrus and Athalan ( no doubt after the contest there was some political backlash) The bad ending- I’m not really sure what Saku has in for us but if we are given a bad ending i feel like it’ll be romantic related. Like Zaros gets a little jealous and just doesn’t reciprocate his feelings for listener OR the Athalan family is just soo angry with the decision that they decide to break from the Sarula empire and build their own? Maybe a rival empires now and it’ll be way harder for any romantic affairs between them. Other than that idk 🤷🏽♀️, im really hoping it doesn’t come to this tho… these are all the big things i’ve thought of so far, i had a few extras but their just guesses like : a rebellion happening in the empire, one of the royals being kidnapped for ransom ( maybe listener), maybe we get to know more about listeners father (i feel like this will be important for the plot), and Listener just straight up denying the throne, (Zaros mentioned how when they were children, listener dreamed of traveling the world and learning new things so i’m putting that in consideration.)
The fact that I was waiting the ENTIRE TIME from the moment the listener picked up the glass to douse him in wine shows how amazing this was! This was INCREDIBLE work. I get the feeling that the listener only acts this way around the narrator, and I can't wait to hear more about their past together!
Atp I’m starting to believe that Saku is British 😂 EDIT - I had a feeling he actually was/is British. But I as an American cannot be seen simping for the enemy!- Nah, I’m just playing.
I am quite invested in how this'll turn out. Stepping out of the listener's shoes for a moment, I honestly find the speaking character to be a pretty likable character 😅 To me, it seems like he wants to reveal the corruption behind the nobility. Not only to make better living conditions for the people under the kingdom, but to make the listener realize how blind they were to the reality of things. The speaker's conflict seems very much seems external. Where as, the listener's conflict is more of an internal one. It's alluded that the two of them were good friends as children. But something/someone made the listener see the speaking as some "leech". In addition, the speaker keeps bringing up things like how the listener used be more adventurous when young, not really caring about noble affairs, and how they care too much with what others think of them. To me, the listener may be misguided into thinking certain things because of how they were brought up. I can see this series having the listener going through some eye-opening experiences. Regardless, I'm existed to see how things pan out. Great audio as always 👍😊
To me, I think the listener may have been punished for doing things consider "lowly and unproper" to the extent were they think it's a bad thing. And since we know how much gossip spreads among the nobles, there might be a time were the listener was being severely looked down on and judged hence why they care so much of what others think.
Your voice acting in the opening sentence - never have I felt such command through someone's speech in such subtle way. Even you probably haven't realized how good of a job you've done with this piece. I'm demanding at least a million subs from the entire world because everyone needs to feel what I've felt & be at awe of your passion about your voice acting & literature.
This content is free to watch y'all... The quality is amazing - I love how atmospheric it is. Also, the plot!! I feel like we're going to be in for one hell of a ride with this one, especially since the whole thing is teeming with angst, and Zaros is my favourite type of character: biting, sarcastic, but it seems like it hurts him in a way to be like this. I can't help but think that, given that a previously strong bond between the two is alluded to. If this genuinely does progress into an angsty, slow burn enemies to lovers it would literally be the best piece of such content online, especially because of how alive the story is made by the VAs. Saku, your choice of accent was immaculate, as well as your casting for the other characters. And you managed to create a character that intrigues me so much that I cannot wait to see how he will end up developing. The potential for the development of both characters and their relationship is huge, and I have very high expectations of how this will pan out. Do not be afraid to be ambitious! Thank you for your hard work!

Yeah zaros pissed me off omg😭, like I was listening to this while trying to sleep but I kept getting worked up and was like “Chile lemme just pause this and go to sleep, he’s really pissing me off. I’ll finish this tomorrow….” I really like him as character though and I’m excited to see how the listener will grow and how zaros contributes to that!

It's great to get into such well thought out and well made stories. you wouldn't expect anything else from saku, everything is as good as ever. it's nice to see a new story, immerse yourself in it, experience new emotions for the character, escape from reality and enjoy a different world. every voice sounds great. great job, thank you all.
okay i don't usually comment but my brain is cooking because this storyline saku created is _absolutely beautiful_ i just _have_ to say some speculations and see how it'll all unfold with later episodes lolol: okok so, what we can gather from what the new character (can't remember his name i'm so sorry) had said, the listener and him have known each other since they were younger-or at least during their years spent in education. they could have been close (or not; just trying to piece things together), but what we do know is that the character had done something to betray the listener's trust-probably serious too if it had caused listener to react that harshly. we also know that the listener is impulsive and quick to antagonize tho. so, it could be possible that the new character, in actuality, did not betray the listener and that they had just impulsively accused him because, well, they're known to. perhaps they were friends in the past? or at least close enough to somewhat be in good terms until he had "betrayed" the listener. all in all, though, i think he'd make a good ruler rather than the listener 💀 for now, at least. maybe we'll get some character development from the both of them. whatever saku decides i'll be here to shamelessly listen because this is absolutely lovely! your writing never misses, saku

First of all, I was both surprised and excited to see a new series introduced, even better, this one brings new experiences for me after following you for a while. Talking about that, I am so impressed of how much your video and content have been improved all these time. The BGM is beautiful and it fits the moods so well. The story is so well-written and it worths listening again to pick up the details that I missed. The other voice actors/actresses did such amazing job too. Overall, the first episode is so promising so far, I can't wait to see how the story progresses. Thank you for such great work, Saku. Hope you enjoy doing this as much as I enjoy your content.❤ Hope that you are doing well. And this is not really related, just a personal struggle but I will take a while remember all the names of the characters. I'm so bad as memorize names.😂
I have a feeling that the Listener is not at all what they’re made out to be. Perhaps they find it easier to be thought of as pampered and privileged because trying to convince Saku’s new character (sorry, but I forgot his name 😭) that they have changed is just too difficult. Especially with how adamant and headstrong the new character’s opinions are. They’re probably more alike than they care to admit, and will learn this during the trials. There are 4, right?? So I bet it’ll be a tie and then they’ll realise how good of a team they are, ultimately deciding that they would be great Co-Sovereigns. Anyway, those are my theories…I’m so interested to see where this series goes!!!

I plug in my ear buds and suddenly I'm in a ball gown dancing with my rival aishskebkseh The Sounds, the impeccable dialogues (I was swooning), the storyline and how easy I transcend into the worlds you create. The mother seemed so lovely 🥹 and the character!! I like him so far, really hit the feels, hurt my feels too. I’m getting hints of we liked each other in the past but after our words we let go of each other and now here we are wanting them back. The ways I wanted to respond differed from how we actually responded and in turn he shot us with more arrows to the chest. Also I wonder if by the end and he’s right and we win, if we could take him as an advisor, but in secret cause otherwise we’d be deemed unfit and be forced off the throne anyway. But we should listen to his words no matter how much we deny them, we need to change.. I’m loving this so many plot twist I can smell

And so a new story begins! I have to say, I am beyond intrigued and can not wait to see where this goes. I like that both characters seem to have their strengths and flaws. Both ruffling each others feathers. I can’t say to learn more of their history and what actually happened. Also the SFX? Top notch as always!

This was so good!! I have a theory that the listener was maybe going through more than the new character could see. That’s why they acted like that, because they where previously very hurt. Maybe it’s just me but I feel like the listener has a reason why, that Mabye the new guy couldn’t see at first. JUST A THOUGHT < 33

Yall see, this audio gave me some inspiration. I kind of see the end to be like, the princess (on my mind) give her best to be the heir but harder she tries, more she sees that at the end, it was never what she wanted. So when it's about to finish and the result are gonna appear, she'll be like "wait no, this isn't my dream, i never wanted that in the first place" and it was all because she didn't want to disappoint her family who has been ruling for ages ! So she just give up and say "it's time for me to live the life i choose" and she just, say goodbye to that royal life and go to the countryside live the life she wanted. I've actually been further in her history, like she has some issues with her mom even though she really loves her but poor girl is into an existential crisis and everything that remind her of her family is kinda hard to accept.
I've been following you for awhile despite comfort audios and ASMR not being my thing. I've just genuinely enjoyed hearing the content you put out. And as time has passed I've enjoyed seeing you collaborate with others. You're just genuinely really talented, and I'm happy to support you. That being said reading that you're going to get more into the story telling aspect of audios has struck me dumb, deaf, and blind from how happy I am. As hilarious as it is I do genuinely listen to audios for the plot. I was like "Woah, new reccomendation!" BUT NO IT WAS MADE BY KING CRUMPET, SAKU. I'm excited to see how this new series will bloom, anything that Saku makes will get you pulled into the lore and desperate for a new chapter! I already know that Saku put a lot of effort into this and this will be another hit series. Your voice is filled with passion, you definitely sound more professional in this audio. I lost it when he said we don't mean anything to him. Burst into tears the next second. The story, the drama, the new characters, everything is absolutly fantastic. I will listen to this audio over and over again until the next part. I lived every second of it. I felt like i was there. That good it was.
I really like the part when "we" storm out of the room and close the door, you can hear the glass breaking it on the other side. I like to think that Zaros was the one throwing it, not really proud of how he threated us or what he said.

AHHHH i can’t believe we have a new character now!! It’s mind blowing to see how you’ve evolved Saku !! While listening, i had a bunch of huge theories that i think will happen in the series (or not lmao) and i wanted to share some! these might be long so be prepared:
The trials will be biased- this is an obvious observation but like i really expect the trials to favor the listeners royal traditions instead of Zaros. (The queen did state that they won’t be biased but cmon now, sarula has only been ruled by blood family members and no one has contested in YEARS) Roena(the queen) will do anything to make sure the listener gets the throne. I feel like listener will realize that the trials are biased (since their not stupid) and will confront Roena about it, i’m not just talking a little small talk, i mean like full on yelling, shouting, objects being shattered, tears in the confrontation. Maybe something like this:
Listener: “What are you doing? Do you not believe in my abilities to win?”
Roena : “I am doing this for you! I will not let a low life kingdom take the throne, i will do anything to make sure of that…”
Maybe Zaros overhears the conversation? or a Maid and word gets out how the royal family are complete losers? Not really sure…this would probably give some character development to Listener( proving that Listener has changed over the years in contrast to what Zaros keeps saying)
There will be an assassination attempt-It’s a historical fantasy(?) role play so i have no doubt in mind this will happen. At first i was leaning towards listener being the target but it makes more sense if it’s Zaros. The Athalans(hope i wrote it right) are the new royal edition in the empire, not only that but they immediately contested for the throne? That will cause high hysteria around the empire for sure. Lots of people will be angry about this, but i don’t really see a civilian doing it. Maybe someone inside the palace, who has authority but can stay invisible. It happens and word gets out (obviously). this would put Zaros more in favor to the throne, some would speculate that Listeners family would have something to do with it and are trying to sabotage the Athalans. (Obviously listener has nothing to do with this, but Roena? possibly). I also feel like that weapon of choice will be poison, especially the one Zaros and Listener enjoyed in this episode. The wine is limited, expensive, and only comes out twice a year, who else would be able to afford such wine? The sarula family. I also see Listener taking care of Zaros and trying to help him( maybe a little comfort),which would strengthen their friendship OR the attempt could possibly weaken their relationship, making them more cautious of each other.
Listeners mask slips and falls for a moment- maybe it happens at a royal event, a trial, in the village, or in a quiet room. Regardless, it still happens and when it does it is not pretty. I feel like Zaros will be at fault here since he has such a big mouth. He probably says something he shouldn’t have, going too far. (I wanna say it may have something to do with Listeners father, since we haven’t been introduced to him yet). Because of that little comment, listener just breaks, and finally Zaros will get to see Listeners true self, behind the mask. Zaros perception of Listener may change, already shocked with their vulnerable state and maybe some comfort here and there. This will be the chance for listener to say what they truly feel, maybe some apologies there too. It will just be a small moment, but they will both be able to be vulnerable to each other, expressing their true feelings and reminiscing on times where life was easier.
Angry Love Confession- So i’m going to widely assume that this series is an Enemies to Lovers and that hopefully we get a happy ending. Obviously there will be more characters in the series and i’m going on a wild guess that Listener has a few others friends ( excluding Zaros). Listener is yknow kind, caring, gentle, and friendly to Friend xyz and Zaros is jealous of that. They’re both enemies and ended their past friendship on bad terms so, Zaros seeing Listner has changed and made new friends is infuriating , like a “you were willing to change but not for me” moment. Listener will take notice of this jealousy, then another confrontation, blah blah blah some arguing than the cliche “i’ve always loved you”. teehee not that i mind tho. Hopefully listener and Zaros have been building a new friendship prior to the confession so it feels a bit natural.
It will end in a marriage (if it’s a happy ending..)- I’m leaning that listener wins the throne (even thought it may look like Zaros is in favor.) I feel like Zaros + Listener will have put this whole rivalry behind them and focus on actually just helping the people and doing what they can. This will probably bring a peace between Salrus and Athalan ( no doubt after the contest there was some political backlash)
The bad ending- I’m not really sure what Saku has in for us but if we are given a bad ending i feel like it’ll be romantic related. Like Zaros gets a little jealous and just doesn’t reciprocate his feelings for listener OR the Athalan family is just soo angry with the decision that they decide to break from the Sarula empire and build their own? Maybe a rival empires now and it’ll be way harder for any romantic affairs between them. Other than that idk 🤷🏽♀️, im really hoping it doesn’t come to this tho…
these are all the big things i’ve thought of so far, i had a few extras but their just guesses like : a rebellion happening in the empire, one of the royals being kidnapped for ransom ( maybe listener), maybe we get to know more about listeners father (i feel like this will be important for the plot), and Listener just straight up denying the throne, (Zaros mentioned how when they were children, listener dreamed of traveling the world and learning new things so i’m putting that in consideration.)

I am quite invested in how this'll turn out. Stepping out of the listener's shoes for a moment, I honestly find the speaking character to be a pretty likable character 😅 To me, it seems like he wants to reveal the corruption behind the nobility. Not only to make better living conditions for the people under the kingdom, but to make the listener realize how blind they were to the reality of things. The speaker's conflict seems very much seems external. Where as, the listener's conflict is more of an internal one. It's alluded that the two of them were good friends as children. But something/someone made the listener see the speaking as some "leech". In addition, the speaker keeps bringing up things like how the listener used be more adventurous when young, not really caring about noble affairs, and how they care too much with what others think of them. To me, the listener may be misguided into thinking certain things because of how they were brought up. I can see this series having the listener going through some eye-opening experiences. Regardless, I'm existed to see how things pan out. Great audio as always 👍😊
To me, I think the listener may have been punished for doing things consider "lowly and unproper" to the extent were they think it's a bad thing. And since we know how much gossip spreads among the nobles, there might be a time were the listener was being severely looked down on and judged hence why they care so much of what others think.

Your voice acting in the opening sentence - never have I felt such command through someone's speech in such subtle way. Even you probably haven't realized how good of a job you've done with this piece. I'm demanding at least a million subs from the entire world because everyone needs to feel what I've felt & be at awe of your passion about your voice acting & literature.
This content is free to watch y'all... The quality is amazing - I love how atmospheric it is. Also, the plot!! I feel like we're going to be in for one hell of a ride with this one, especially since the whole thing is teeming with angst, and Zaros is my favourite type of character: biting, sarcastic, but it seems like it hurts him in a way to be like this. I can't help but think that, given that a previously strong bond between the two is alluded to. If this genuinely does progress into an angsty, slow burn enemies to lovers it would literally be the best piece of such content online, especially because of how alive the story is made by the VAs.
Saku, your choice of accent was immaculate, as well as your casting for the other characters. And you managed to create a character that intrigues me so much that I cannot wait to see how he will end up developing. The potential for the development of both characters and their relationship is huge, and I have very high expectations of how this will pan out. Do not be afraid to be ambitious! Thank you for your hard work!

It's great to get into such well thought out and well made stories. you wouldn't expect anything else from saku, everything is as good as ever. it's nice to see a new story, immerse yourself in it, experience new emotions for the character, escape from reality and enjoy a different world.

okay i don't usually comment but my brain is cooking because this storyline saku created is _absolutely beautiful_ i just _have_ to say some speculations and see how it'll all unfold with later episodes lolol:
okok so, what we can gather from what the new character (can't remember his name i'm so sorry) had said, the listener and him have known each other since they were younger-or at least during their years spent in education. they could have been close (or not; just trying to piece things together), but what we do know is that the character had done something to betray the listener's trust-probably serious too if it had caused listener to react that harshly. we also know that the listener is impulsive and quick to antagonize tho. so, it could be possible that the new character, in actuality, did not betray the listener and that they had just impulsively accused him because, well, they're known to.
perhaps they were friends in the past? or at least close enough to somewhat be in good terms until he had "betrayed" the listener. all in all, though, i think he'd make a good ruler rather than the listener 💀 for now, at least. maybe we'll get some character development from the both of them. whatever saku decides i'll be here to shamelessly listen because this is absolutely lovely! your writing never misses, saku

First of all, I was both surprised and excited to see a new series introduced, even better, this one brings new experiences for me after following you for a while. Talking about that, I am so impressed of how much your video and content have been improved all these time. The BGM is beautiful and it fits the moods so well. The story is so well-written and it worths listening again to pick up the details that I missed. The other voice actors/actresses did such amazing job too. Overall, the first episode is so promising so far, I can't wait to see how the story progresses.

I have a feeling that the Listener is not at all what they’re made out to be. Perhaps they find it easier to be thought of as pampered and privileged because trying to convince Saku’s new character (sorry, but I forgot his name 😭) that they have changed is just too difficult. Especially with how adamant and headstrong the new character’s opinions are. They’re probably more alike than they care to admit, and will learn this during the trials. There are 4, right?? So I bet it’ll be a tie and then they’ll realise how good of a team they are, ultimately deciding that they would be great Co-Sovereigns. Anyway, those are my theories…I’m so interested to see where this series goes!!!

The ways I wanted to respond differed from how we actually responded and in turn he shot us with more arrows to the chest. Also I wonder if by the end and he’s right and we win, if we could take him as an advisor, but in secret cause otherwise we’d be deemed unfit and be forced off the throne anyway. But we should listen to his words no matter how much we deny them, we need to change.. I’m loving this so many plot twist I can smell

This was so good!! I have a theory that the listener was maybe going through more than the new character could see. That’s why they acted like that, because they where previously very hurt. Maybe it’s just me but I feel like the listener has a reason why, that Mabye the new guy couldn’t see at first.

Yall see, this audio gave me some inspiration. I kind of see the end to be like, the princess (on my mind) give her best to be the heir but harder she tries, more she sees that at the end, it was never what she wanted. So when it's about to finish and the result are gonna appear, she'll be like "wait no, this isn't my dream, i never wanted that in the first place" and it was all because she didn't want to disappoint her family who has been ruling for ages ! So she just give up and say "it's time for me to live the life i choose" and she just, say goodbye to that royal life and go to the countryside live the life she wanted.
I've actually been further in her history, like she has some issues with her mom even though she really loves her but poor girl is into an existential crisis and everything that remind her of her family is kinda hard to accept.
I've been following you for awhile despite comfort audios and ASMR not being my thing. I've just genuinely enjoyed hearing the content you put out. And as time has passed I've enjoyed seeing you collaborate with others. You're just genuinely really talented, and I'm happy to support you. That being said reading that you're going to get more into the story telling aspect of audios has struck me dumb, deaf, and blind from how happy I am. As hilarious as it is I do genuinely listen to audios for the plot.
