There are some pans that are not magnetic like morphe or beauty bay or anastasia, so this wont work unless you put a metal sticker in the pan

Yes, in that case(I also have some Morphe eyeshadows), the depth of the container allows me to stick this magnet sticker to both the bottom of the container and the the pan itself.Since as I mentioned before, it's not the strongest magnet, it easily snaps together without adding a metal sticker.
