Just curious, why do you bend the end of your welding rods and what rods are you using. You hardly have a rod stick. Here in the US, we call it "stick" welding for a good reason. That is why we use MIG most of the time.
I was just about to ask them why they do not use a mig welder. Is stick welding that much cheaper? I also thought you get a better weld with a mig welder, am I wrong?
Does anyone wish things were still like this in the USA? Or better yet, wish you or we could be a part of a society like this? Looks like a better life than what our so-called progressive country has become.
I hope that is not an acetylene cylinder lying down, they should always be standing. The whole economy in these videos seem to be totally dependent on an arc welder and big hammers

Probably 6013 rods, burn very easy, shallow penetration, 3/32” 6013 works pretty well on thin stuff.
One reason is to bend the rod is to get desire angle.
