The lifting mechanism prototype - S03E25 Propulsion Part 8 | Building Wilda | Unique Drive System

In this episode - Part 8 of Wilda's Porpulsion - Axel is introducing his concept for the cyclinders lifting and lowering mechanism.
As part of his unique drive system design, the aluminium cylinder in which the motor will sit, will have to travel in and out of the bigger cylinder, lowering and lifting the electric motor and prop assembly.
Wilda is a Schionning Wilderness 1340 sailing catamaran. She is being finished in a shed outside Melbourne. Wilda will be powered by the Sun, the Wind and the Sea...
