Love the videos! Very well shot and easy to follow :) I believe the room in the middle when you spawned 2 mobs, that was actually 2 separate rooms not 1 big one, so should have only needed to spawn the 1 mob.
Thanks so much! That means a lot. Having fun with it. 🥳 I was thinking this was possible. I actually debated whether it was one chamber or two. I decided due to the black wall border being around the whole chamber that it was one. Made it tougher on myself! 😜
I believe it's two rooms, too, because otherwise the side quest to explore all rooms is kind of pointless. If it's treated as one chamber then the side quest is auto completed just by doing everything you need for the main quest.
It’s great to watch and learn the game some. I saw a couple of mistakes. At the end of the Ranger’s turn, you are supposed to shuffle the Arrow deck. I made the same mistake my first game and then re-read the Ranger’s rules and learned the mistake. The second mistake was spawning the chamber. It’s actually two chambers. Chambers don’t go across tiles unless there is an open door. So you made the game more difficult by spawning the Skeletons. There should have only been one enemy.

It appears like one based on the black borders (walls). That was my logic even though part of me was saying it could be two. I went with one to increase the difficulty haha Thanks for watching! 😄
Posting here in case you missed it in the other video. At the end of the Rangers turn I think you have to shuffle the rangers deck. Re-read the ranger deck part of the rule book, I’d be curious what you interpret. From the last sentence of the ranger page 35 “At the end of the rangers turn, they must shuffle all their discarded arrow cards with the arrow deck”. Later in the game the ranger can go through their deck on one turn so I think that is where the sentence before the last sentence comes in.

At 52 mins, when you drew the 7 arrows and one of the bulls eye said +shadow, you rolled a shadow die (which you were in a shadow zone so you should have rolled it anyways), I think the bulls eye meant you get to use your ‘shadow ability’ not roll the shadow die. I am not for sure about that though. I can’t believe you made it through! Looked awesome! Love your play throughs!! Keep them coming!!
41:05 - you chose the top option of the last card which is only applicable if you got a perfect shot. You did not get a perfect shot. You stopped at 6 arrows. So you were only allowed to use the quick shot middle options which is spend 1 mana for 1 hit which in return would not kill off that entire horder. Leader would still be alive with 1 health. Game changing mistake because you could of died from their attack :)
This would have been so easy if you would have had the berserker dual wield the orange die mace and any other weapon. I don't understand the fascination with having him have a ranged attack. I understand the ranger because of the arrow deck and whatnot, but it's not like ranged keeps you from retaliation damage. I appreciate the playthrough. It was very informative regarding the play pattern of the game. Thank you
That was the aim! This was one of my first plays so as you go along you start min/maxing things of course. Glad it helped you get rolling. It’s a fantastic dungeon crawler and they really upgraded it well in MD2. 🔥

Rule clarification on the arrow cards that show the face symbol. Does that mean the hero can use his dark ability or does it mean role a black die? During your play through you rolled a black die instead of just using the ability.
Hi, I was wondering, if you have a choice of target bands (like you are in melee with a band, and there is another one in LoS in a corridor), do you get to choose which one to attack if you could attack both ?
@@RollingSolo Yea being so streamlined is what was tempting me to pick it up. I've seen gameplay of other games I've backed(still not received) and their seems to be alot more gameplay managment to do.

Middara was handled so well and is just quality on all fronts (gameplay and narrative). I think it’s one of the best all around large campaign games to ever release. I really like the pace that this games plays. A lot campaign games get to far in over their head with admin.

The main function of the ranger you will find is to break through armor. It’s their main strength , at least I think so.
@@sador42 Ranger is a very cool class. The berserker takes a few levels to get into its groove but is great when it does!
