My daughter provided Thanksgiving dinner for us. She bought most of the meal teady for the oven. Other things were easily prepared. We had a very good dinner and the cleanup was minimal. Sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. Loved the Corny cake Jami! ❤ Just want to say you two are so busy. You just keep doing what is needed for the animals and for your job Jami. Did anyone thank you for working on the holiday? You too Lester. You fed the animals, worked at the JL Ranch, worked at Ima Survivor Sanctuary, and came home to do chores and feed up again. My parents have moved to assisted living so we bought Cracker Barrel and took it to their "house" and it was delicious! Who cares who cooked it if everybody leaves full and happy? My dad used to do all the cooking until a few years ago. My daughter has done the cooking the past few years, but she's expecting our first grandbaby in a few weeks so we didn't want her to get so exhausted cooking. I would have been happy to help, but my dad didn't teach me to cook, but he did teach my daughter - thankfully! Thank you for taking us along on your journey! I would stay every weekend with my Great Grandma B, She would make a white cake with white frosting!! Brought a tear to my eyes. My Great Grandma B had Tuberculosis for many years. Had abdominal surgery a few days ago so we stayed home, made a turkey on the grill, sweet potatoes in the airfryer, asparagus and cranberry/strawberry relish. Stayed in pj's all day. Drs orderes to rest till sutures are taken out but not for another week. Luv your videos, jami, great idea with cracker barrel. We are in rural northwest illinois. Not alot around here like cracker barrels.

Lester and Jami, I don’t get to watch when you are actually live very often but I watch every video (usually on both platforms!). Tolerate isn’t a good word because you are like close friends or family to me and it’s like when friends vent to each other. When I was little, I believed that I had compartments in my tummy. Apparently the veggie one was very tiny but my dessert one was large. My mom didn’t believe me.

I made a Jennie-O turkey breast with a big gravy packet, Stove top turkey stuffing, and canned cranberry sauce. I normally did to mega big feast, but this year I am alone. The turkey breast took 2 hours and the stove top took 5 minutes. It was/is DELICIOUS!!!! 😉🦃🍽 PECAN PIE this weekend!
I spent the afternoon and evening at my son and daughter in laws’ house. She had to work so he cooked. Yes, ALL of the food, except for the deviled eggs. He has a grill, so he smoked a ham. He deep fries the turkey. He makes green bean casserole, candied yams, real mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy, Mac and cheese and regular green beans. Their 13 year old made and baked oatmeal butterscotch and chocolate chip cookies. I, of course, ate too much (and brought home a doggy bag) so I went into a “food coma” as soon as I got home! I got to hold my first great granddaughter! I could gush all day about that! I’m watching on replay, so I can make up for missing all of the videos for the day. Y’all help us immeasurably! Had abdominal surgery a few days ago so we stayed home, made a turkey on the grill, sweet potatoes in the airfryer, asparagus and cranberry/strawberry relish. Stayed in pj's all day. Drs orderes to rest till sutures are taken out but not for another week. Luv your videos, jami, great idea with cracker barrel. We are in rural northwest illinois. Not alot around here like cracker barrels.

I do have an issue with sleeping, and I can be so tired and constantly yawning, but as soon as I lay my head on my pillow, my eyes can't seem to close....so that's my time to binge watch everyone's videos.😂I love you guys and so appreciate you and all you do for all of the babies. I jacked up two pies somehow… drank too many cranberry mimosas so kinda feel like I’m going to bed hungover…had more appetizers than anything else and lost every game played. Lovely day and very grateful to of spent several hours with those I love…❤

Lester and Jami, I don’t get to watch when you are actually live very often but I watch every video (usually on both platforms!). Tolerate isn’t a good word because you are like close friends or family to me and it’s like when friends vent to each other. It’s part of life and that’s just being a part of each other’s lives each day! Keep doing what you are doing the way you do it! I’d hate for it to always be perfect because then it wouldn’t be like I’m talking to friends every day! 🥰🤗

When I was little, I believed that I had compartments in my tummy. Apparently the veggie one was very tiny but my dessert one was large. My mom didn’t believe me.

Fabuloso is standard here in Florida . I use vinegar to clean most of my house or 5% hydrogen peroxide.
I made a Jennie-O turkey breast with a big gravy packet, Stove top turkey stuffing, and canned cranberry sauce. I normally did to mega big feast, but this year I am alone. The turkey breast took 2 hours and the stove top took 5 minutes. It was/is DELICIOUS!!!! 😉🦃🍽

I spent the afternoon and evening at my son and daughter in laws’ house. She had to work so he cooked. Yes, ALL of the food, except for the deviled eggs. He has a grill, so he smoked a ham. He deep fries the turkey. He makes green bean casserole, candied yams, real mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy, Mac and cheese and regular green beans. Their 13 year old made and baked oatmeal butterscotch and chocolate chip cookies. I, of course, ate too much (and brought home a doggy bag) so I went into a “food coma” as soon as I got home! I got to hold my first great granddaughter! I could gush all day about that!
I’m watching on replay, so I can make up for missing all of the videos for the day. Y’all help us immeasurably! Happy Thanksgiving (late) and Merry Christmas!

I bought a Thanksgiving dinner at Bob Evans. It is just me now that Mom has passed on, so I don't need to fix a large dinner. Bob Evans had a great meal. Happy Thanksgiving Lester and Jami and the family on Morrow Hill.
I made small pillows for church to have a pillow through and know one will get hurt. But my daughter that helps me had a light dinner . But Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. God blessed me
My husband works at McDonald's and when he came home he came home with 2 breakfast platters full of turkey, stuffing, ham, rolls green beans and dinner rolls. Happy Thanksgiving Lester and Jami
