The 50mm or 20mm, which one do you prefer?

I used to love my 50mm. Lately I’m playing with the 24-200 z lens. It’s surprisingly good for a super zoom. I had one before on my DX and it wasn’t great.

@@richardpeyton354 I've been looking at the 28mm for a while now, very tempting! I used to love my 70-200 on one of my old DX's, but blimey it was a fat lens 🤣🤣

@@harry_wardd the 24-200 z is practically pocket sized. It’s really exceeded my expectations in a big way. I’ve gone out with two heavy cameras hanging off me, and with one and changing the flipping lens every five minutes, and missing great pics over it, but the super zoom is an EVERYTHING lens, apart from low light and bokeh haha… for everything else it’s Tony the Tiger grrrrrrreat.

@@richardpeyton354thank you mate I'll give that a look! I just got back from Amsterdam and taking photos with two prime lenses was definitely a slight chore - I quite like going out knowing that I need to work with one lens, but for travel versatility probably is king here given you're unlikely to return for a while!

@@harry_wardd well, the 24-200 is one lens haha. But I know what you mean. I may dust off the old 50mm one of these days.

That's a great video Harry - and I look forward to more. Also, thank you for your photography club present in north Herts tonight - very interesting and engaging.

@@i4nm4c thanks so much Ian! Truly glad you enjoyed it, as did I. I have got a plan for my next video, just need to find the time to make it - hoping to work on it before Christmas! Thanks again my friend, very much appreciate the kind words 🙏🙏

@imagecatchingeye Can we see some video tutorials on how you blend/merge your images in Photoshop, please?

I will absolutely look at doing a broad overview for this channel! I also have a course which takes you through an entire image, from image selection through to processing - including a Photoshop file, cribb sheet, and endless playback which you can also check out if you want to 😄

The people in the foreground are fascinating and it works well with an iconic background.

Inspirational on the technique. Let’s hope I manage to try out some of your skills into practice this weekend! Good tip on time lapse between shots! Thank you!

I wonder if your camera took all the pictures without changing the position and the whole effect was created in Ps? I saw a tutorial where the architecture pictures were taken from different angles 🤔

@@enmirror5545 hey, yes exactly that - I take all the pictures with my camera and then create the effect in Photoshop by overlaying 😉

Thanks Angela! It's in the works to do a small video on this ☺️ I do also have a full, in depth course on Etsy - there's a link in the description of you're ever interested - thanks so much for your comment and I will make sure to add a small Photoshop overview as a video 🤩
