These type of homes are cute for one person but with actual tiny homes there’s usually a sleeping loft if you need a second space say for example if you have a kid. It’s nice though,price isn’t too bad for this economy but I truly miss when a park model like this would cost 40-50k😢.

Now even the trailers have quadrupled. I saw a double wide for over $250,000 😂 I’d just build a house. So stupid . Even crap like this is over $100,000 dollars now.

LOVE THIS TINY HOUSE!!!! It is so unique and hodge-podge like! It looks like they took 3 or 4 different shaped buildings and attached them together, added AWESOME porches on each end, and surprisingly, it worked awesomely! Love that the appliances are all lined up. The backslash is beautiful, and I love how they tie the bathroom shower in with the rest of the house! This is probably my favorite tiny house. It would be perfect down at my sister's 169 acres where my husband and I could go visit for a few weeks. I like the white much better than the black. Very nice house! Thank you, Chance!
Not a fan of tiny houses but this one is the exception ! Very functional. Unique exterior but it works with the inside. Perfect for a vacation home. Screen in the porches, set it up by the lake or beach, pull the wine cork and unwind ! Thx for posting Chance.
They have such gorgeous homes. I lived in Dallas for 33 years and I started getting excited about tiny homes in 2015. When I found out about this location, I used to go there once a month and look through each of the homes, but it was so frustrating because there were no tiny house communities. Now I've depleted my savings and so now I can't afford a house like I would have just 4 years ago.
And worse yet, if you did buy a tiny house and found a community, mega corporations are buying up the communities and forcing people out of their homes by skyrocketing the price of the rental for the lot.
Take a look at Woodland Park, Park model homes. All park model RV rated homes have to be 400sq ft or less and they have some with 200sq ft lofts because that square footage doesn't count towards the total. They have room for full size washer and dryers. all full size appliances and they just look much nicer than this.

I would imagine you could add a screen door and screen in the window areas for the back porch as well. That way you could let your pets have some time outdoors while still being in a safe space as well.
That price is ridiculous! I have a 4800 sq ft home in the DFW area that I paid $500k for, and it is brand new, pristine, top-of-the-line everything, with a gorgeous hot tub and pool! A tiny house should have a tiny cost. My son bought land and wants a tiny house to live in while he decides what to build and goes through the building of the new home. Having to shell out $100+k for a tiny house is super KRAZY! This house should be around $40k. Actually, there are house plans online, and anyone can build one for about $30k, add the high-end appliances, and get exactly what you want.
Your payment on this would be cheaper than most 1 bedroom apartments. Your electric will run around $45/month, low insurance/tax and water/gas bill to boot. With your pool alone I know your water bill was at least $200/mo in the summer and your taxes and other utilities are outrageous too. And I'm curious where you found a 4800 sq. ft. home for $500K and what year you bought it. I'm in McKinney, have a pool and I know roughly what your monthly/yearly expenses are. This one has a lot of pine and high end finishes so I'm sure you could get one cheaper with some downgrades. I mean not everyone is skilled to finish out their own shell and make it this nice. Your son just needs a temporary structure and I'm sure he paid a penny for his land too.
I would get rid of the 2 windows on the left side of the living room so I could mount a TV there. You could definitely put a small sectional on the other side. I would screen in the back porch. I don't mind "scaled down" appliances that are just not as wide & maybe you could fit in a drawer dishwasher. You can still get a 4 burner stove & side-by-side frig, just narrower. I've looked for an apt reno with a smaller kitchen.
I love Mr. Tiny! He's got a great sense of humor and is a good salesman. This is my favorite floorplan for a 399 Sq ft home. I think they also have one where one of the porches is glassed in like a Sunroom. Looks like a quality build at a great price point. Thanks for showcasing this tiny home.

Most tiny homes are supposed to be able to pull with a large pick up. I don’t think this one will be pulled with a pick up. It’s big and heavy has what looks like five axles under it. This one would have to be a permanent parked tiny home. It has a lot of great features I love two porches. Thanks for sharing Chance
This is definitely more luxurious than other tiny homes and it makes sense given its size. It shows you can have what you want and need without having a big house. I like seeing all the different floor plans and would love more content that showcases use of space with drafting plans etc. Thanks!
I like the finishes in this home alot, it looks very well done. I like the porch and the layout is cute. I could see this as a vacation home for a couple, or even a primary residence for a single person who was minimalist in nature (this would eliminate me). My biggest question, not only with this model but with many of the of the homes I see here is why?? I live in a manufactured home so I am not against them. I would love to have many of the homes shown on your channel, but the astronomical cost is insane. I do a "square foot" analysis on these homes and most are coming in at around 250.00 per square foot, this one is 262.50. The average cost to build in the US currently is about 150.00 per square foot. You could build a pretty high end site built home for this cost, so why would anyone buy one? It used to be that people bought manufactured homes because it was more cost effective, but given that they do depreciate and many people still have a negative opinion of them why would I buy one at these prices when I could have a site built home done far cheaper? Someone please explain this to me. I used to think about putting a new manufactured home on my current property, but if it cost twice as much than it would to have one built what would be the advantage?? I still love this channel though, and think Chance is just the sweetest guy, reminds me of my Mississippi born hubby...well, 30 years ago anyway

I love "out of the ordinary" designed homes of any size. This one is absolutely TOO CUTE FOR WORDS! I LOVE this one, although I do wish they would put in a large storage closet in these tiny homes. I have to have my storage inside the house! LOL But I would absolutely love to live in this one! And I am in love with that shower! I love that! One of my friends had a father that had a big open shower like that in his apartment, and it was just the most awesome thing! His had a bench in it so you could sit. If I had the money to get out of apartment living, I would definitely go for this cutie!!!
This is one of my favorite tiny homes I’d make it my primary home now that it’s just me and my dog I’d just need an attached garage added to it and it’d be prefect however I might just build it and go a few ft larger in all directions too

Looks like a good start on the plan. I can't help thinking that with all the extra space above the bedroom, it's a wasted opportunity for an upper storage space. I would also appreciate full height across the rest of the house, leaving the living room ceiling as it is. The only closet is in the bedroom for some clothing. Where would we store out-of-season clothing, Christmas decorations, etc.? We'd have to get a separate shed to make this home practical.
I've noticed that most of these southern state home designers don't think about the reality of 4 season living, clothes, and equipment, or even hobbies.. But as I've learned more, most of them are indeed not sufficiently insulated, or suitable for snow loads. Some Canadian, and northern builders are designing for mold resistance, snow loads, and more storage, and often it's a " included" add on porch with shelving and storage.
I love a tiny home thats 1 level no loft,and i like it to have a spaviouse bedroom and another room for guest ,who i have family who live in england to come visit me .this home is very cute
It's very pretty and looks very good quality. I just don't like the toilet right by the kitchen. I would also include the rear deck area as internal space. Possibly move the master to the rear and make what was the master a smaller second bedroom.
Exactly what I was thinking.. However I would make that a workshop for my jewelry business. Love this layout.. I wouldn’t be able to have a loft bedroom like you see in most tiny homes because my entire spine is fused, limiting my flexibility to do a loft! I’ll keep up my search for the perfect tiny and the perfect spot to set it on.. somewhere it doesn’t snow!!!!
@jenmo8601 You probably need to design your own to get it just right. I suggest keeping floor plans and design ideas from different houses you like and seeing if you can combine them together. It's fun to sketch your own floor plan, would be a good hobby. I'm currently building my own home and drew my own design, then had a draftsperson prepare a full set of drawings for the builder. I could be wrong but I understand they will transport their tiny homes all over the country. Square feet includes the porches. Love watching you, Chance and I love watching Mr Tiny too!!!
The porch off the bedroom the wall that you said was solid you could take and put small flowerpots and hang on there and put different flowers in them even the trailess flower on it. I just thought I’d add that maybe for next time you see something like that you can enhance that wall with that information.

The Amish houses are my favorite.!! everybody go check out his Amish house. They are amazing.
The porch off the bedroom the wall that you said was solid you could take and put small flowerpots and hang on there and put different flowers in them even the trailess flower on it. I just thought I’d add that maybe for next time you see something like that you can enhance that wall with that information.
