As unlikely as it is, I don't see it as an impossible task. I mean, WB does own both DC and Neatherrealm studios. On top of that, Neatherrealm has made the Injustice games as well. Mortal Kombat x Injustice, as unlikely as it is, theoretically could happen

Richard Epcar did the Joker's voice in this one. And He was casted for him in the other NRS games with him in it. He's also Raiden.

Fun fact about Superman. He actually does know some martial arts. Not only has he trained with Batman and Wonder Woman, but he has also mastered two of the major martial arts of Krypton, Torquasm Rao and Torquasm Vo.
And more importantly, Muhammad Ali.

Even if it was a mistake, the story itself was quite interesting, although it is considered Canon as a forgotten timeline, and they were close to make an animated movie of Mortal Kombat vs. DC universe which I'm kind of glad It didn't happen since WB themselves did not want like everyone's favorite DC icons to become killers even though they are but just their variants from different realities, then again I wonder how it would play out but I don't expect it's going to happen

Idk about anyone else, but forcing a fight for the sake of a fight is really annoying.
Like yea, sure, in this instance there’s an excuse with the rage.
But stuff like Kano casually showing up like he didnt just walk between 2 people who were fighting, him picking a fight with Shang Tsung, and Raiden starting a fight with Sub-zero were all so ridiculous to me
This is like the first instance of a fighting game having a cinematic story
MKvsDC was definitely hobbled by DC's Standards and Practices (ironic considering they were doing Blackest Night, an ultra-violent event comic where revenants of Dead DC characters were enslaved by an exiled God of Death [Huh... Sounds familiar] at the same time) but there's no denying its story mode was an important step in the evolution of fighting games...

This game was absolutely terrible, but I love it. The first Mortal Kombat game I wver played and what made me interested in the series in the first place. Even despite the countless flaws the game has, I can't help but has a soft spot full of nostalgia for it. I love a shitty game and I'm not afraid to admit it
Honestly after those Injustice designs, I'll take generic looking superheroes instead.

In my eyes, this game had so much potential but with it being a Teen rating and the poor lines and goofy cutscenes, it makes this game as bad as it is. Wasted potential

He also hit Zatana in the liver before she could cast a spell and choked out Black Canary, who is also a master at combat, before she could use her Canary Cry

this might not make sense but Kano's design in this game looks a little bitsy more irish than australian to me and I don't know why I think it's the darker and fuller hairdo combined with the vest

Not going to lie I played the hell out of this game. I don't think it's as bad as people say, however it does sit low on the franchise rankings if I'm to think about my favorites. Honestly my biggest complaint was things like the lack of alternate skin / costumes for people. I think the DC roster could have been a little bit better with their selections, but this allowed me to play out some really nerdy fantasy matchups. I liked the novelty in that. Sure it wasn't as gory as the last games, however if you were to compare it to the original three games it kind of isn't far off from those, it's probably on the same level as Mortal Kombat 1 and 2 to some extent. So it almost kind of felt like a little bit of a throwback there. I think one thing that this game didn't need was the 3D fighting space. I found myself very rarely actually maneuvering around other characters and when you just kind of played it as if it was a 2D fighter it felt pretty solid. However this is most definitely a game for casuals, it's more about the silliness and the spectacle rather than a really well-balanced fighting game. And a lot of really cool things came from this game. The intricate cinematic story modes that nether realm is known for started here, and then obviously it helped pave the way for the injustice series.
This was a cool idea, and then it became a mistake.

This game might be flawed as hell, but I know that without it there wouldnt be nearly as many mk fans. 1, it revived the franchise, but maybe even more importantly the DC tie in was a legitimate reason for many parents to let their kids play it when there wasn't a chance in hell they would have done the same for say MK9. Im one of those little tykes, and Im far from alone

Captain marvel was a DC character but DC had to rename him to Shazam because Marvel used the name for the captain marvel movie. Disney would get mad over DC using a character with the same name.

Superman actually KNOWS how to fight. He was taught 2 martial arts native to Krypton by Supergirl and was taught some of Earth's martial arts by Batman and Wonder Woman.

If I had any of two consoles from that era, MK vs DC would be the first game that I would actually play. Because, it wasn't on PC, which is a shame, and I could not play it. And I could not afford Xbox 360 or PS3, so I only had to watch full playthrough of this game on YT. But how it actually feels and is it that bad as everyone said. That I will not know until I play this game by myself. But I can't sadly.

The most ridiculous part of this story is how low the power levels of most the DC heros are lets be real no one on the MK roster for this is touching Flash and Green Lantern and Wonder Woman are just to powerful for most of them especially Sonya and Jax
