I show the fastest blaze farm which is also the 2nd fastest xp farm too. It incorporates tons of crazy mechanics that I have been waiting to share. Including forced mob spawning, portal spawning and stationary ghast pushers. Enjoy!

I'm guessing waiting for ghasts to spawn, chug invis potions, and waiting for them to fly onto the minecarts?

Wow there is a lot of very fast talking XD Actually quite impressive farm, a lot better than some of the smaller stuff that you do, too bad these kinds of videos take a while to produce. Got an idea for those ghast spawn pads too, will do some testing on it after minecon, wayy too tired to try to come up with something clever atm XD
You need to collaborate with xisumavoid, You should join hermit craft. You are truly one of the best Minecraft players ever to exist!

but personally, I'm gonna stick to spawner farms :b
skeletons for arrows, a few spider spanwners closer to each other for a nice xp farm, and one (or two if close by) blaze spawners for the rods.
Those are the mob farms I usually build.
I once tried to make a guardian xp farm, but the process of emptying all that water with the nerfed sponges was just way too painful for me
Farm breaks in 1.11 Mob cap on a single block is now 25 So the holding camber has to be bigger

Yet another farm that is super efficient but ONLY if you clear out the entire perimeter and up to y=128 or use a creative mode and a void world.
And you have to catch hundreds of ghasts and mine a shitload of obsidian. Very convenient.
why mine the obsidian? Making a farm is way better...
Great proof of concept video, but do you really think this would be a practical, cost effective farm to replace spawner-based blaze farms? Seems like it would be a lot of extra work.

Mobs no longer are able to spawn on rails in 1.9
It means that you got to do a ghast automatticly spawner and mover from nether bedrock plane part, and making a nether double pass (nether to overworld) (and overworld to nether again) for haven't slabbing 128 blocks around the farm.
That's...... Really crazy! I might want to build it in my world! Too bad it was too complex for me :/

For XP, how does this compare to other popular designs like the pigman afk farms, enderman farms, and guardian farms?

also, you might be able to get an even faster deisng than this by doing something similar to what was done in nasms farm.
i didnt know mobs could spawn inside of nether portals... i guess that s because they normally give off too much light.
i m curious how fast you could get this farm to be but idk.
i guess using the system you described at the end would make for arbituarily fast farms but as you said that wouldnt work...
Well, it is the fastest atm. In my eyes; what will make a design better is less lag and not so time-consuming to build
well... speed is my main focus always regardless of how much you need/how much you get xD

no who cares about xp from the second fastest farm? xD enderdragon xp farms are faster and easier to build
Having a backup plan is nice. But I guess you need the fire ress pots ;)
ray can you make a world where you combine all of your farms ?

Why is your framerate capped at 30?
I think the best is to make a farm with two spawnersl blazes, because this is very expensive

I'm pretty sure you can only get one dragon egg from killing the first dragon. The rest won't drop anything.

im running the world download in 1.10.2 with optifine, but the blaze dont come threw to the kill chamber till i go to the overworld, also setting world spawn ontop of the overworld redstone breaks stuff with timing xD but anything on why they arent coming back to the nether?
and yes i checked and enabled mob spawning xD
never mind this comment xD after the farm ran for a min they starter to come thru like they should
