I was one of those lucky listeners. I can't believe I got to see her in this intimate setting and meet her afterward. Brandi is the absolute best and sweetest! Now, everyone knows how amazing she is when we all knew it long ago. And the band is equally stellar! I miss KFOG, though.
KFOG went off air just 19 months later. Great that at least those concert are still on TH-cam.
I play her songs in my high school classroom. I call it "broadening their musical horizons." Thank you much

The Joke is a stunningly beautiful, powerful song. I saw Brandi open for the Indigo Girls way back in 1999 in Albuquerque. I've always been impressed with her voice. I told someone I was with at that show, "She sounds like Patsy Cline." Then she played a Patsy Cline song.
So grateful for Brandi’s clear voice & musical talent. Somehow her words seem to speak to so much in my own life.

This new drummer is so efficient, yet very humble. Serves the band a lot unlike those bombers who kill the musical subtletly of the others musicians they're playing with !
And he totally feels the music - I sometimes find myself watching him in the background, he is interesting and super talented.
