I saw a bunch of folk got washed out in Phoenix ( I watch weather there because my youngest daughter lives and works down there; I'm in Wisconsin) and some kids are missing due to a flash flood. I was thinking about you while we got pummeled with 22 inches of snow over two days Just got my truck out of her parking spot today for the first time in two days. This storm was a bugger.

I have been through Quartzsite many times, but only stopped to buy fuel on the trips down from Montana on my Harley's to see my uncle. My Uncle Suds lived year round in Foothills east of Yuma, and I miss my trips through there. I am enjoying you videos big time. I was curious about the mine west of where you launched your drone, north of Quartzsite. Do you have any idea what they are mining out there. I know a lot of copper has come out of Arizona.

How is the water quality?
Russ, I’ve never been in the desert, is it easy to see if your RV is parked in a wash? It looks easy to see with your drone but not so easy at ground level!
Charles: a wash looks like a dried out stream or riverbed, with sticks, rocks and stuff strewn about like they got dropped by the stream and they dried out in that "flow" position. Best not to camp inside one, cuz a flash flood could happen any time.

We always stay at Roadrunner blm. Last year we got to Quartzsite at 4:30pm weekday. And the Love's exit was fine. Usually it's heavy traffic and we go to the next exit.
Why do you need a permit on BLM land?
