Ecto Cooler was the most delicious variety of Hi-C, IMO. It briefly came back to coincide with the 2016 Ghostbusters film, but the formula was completely different and it just tasted OK.
A drink called TaB was produced by Coke in the '60s, it was a non sugar drink, basically it was just "diet coke" with a different name. the energy drink TAB that everyone knows, came out in the late '90s.
There’s a rumor that the reason Smurfberry Crunch was discontinued is for the same reason that the Burger King Halloween whopper was later discontinued; because it turned your stool into a different color.
@COMPFUNK2 Who knew breakfast and burgers could bring such colorful surprises? Smurfberry Crunch and the Halloween Whopper, a duo of chromatic wonders!🤙🏻
I don't remember that being called "halloween whopper" or it even being associated with Halloween. It was the middle of summer and people were on a "black food colored with squid ink" kick. Maybe it was around Halloween when they stopped making them.
Funny how many of these things were still around in the 2000s, some still to this day. Such as Bagel Bites [SO DELICIOUS! But always eat in moderation] for example. As for the California Raisins, I think you should do a whole video dedicated to them and their history. Notable California Raisins facts: They won an Emmy for the Meet The Raisins special. The Raisins got their own Saturday Morning Cartoon. A.C., the lead raisin with the pompadour hairstyle, has a PVC figure that goes for a lot of money [around the 100-200 dollar range]. The California Raisins are still being used in Japan [which is ironic considering they weren't originally popular there at first]. Craig Bartlett, creator of Hey Arnold, worked on Meet The Raisins, and final fact: Will Vinton, who helped create the California Raisins, also created The Noid for Domino's Pizza and the M&Ms Spokescandies we all know and love.
@@BabbleTop yeah. The pac man pasta comes in 3 flavors. With or without meatballs (cheese sauce for both), and chicken flavor. There was even an old commercial for both types of canned noodles
@@BabbleTop Used to be consistently barbecue, then they switched its flavor to something they called "tangy" and I found to be more on the sour side. It was basically the difference between K.C. Masterpiece and Hunt's, if you know what those taste like. They switched back last I was able to check, but there's no telling when or if they'll decide to switch again, so now that I know what I like, I may just order them plain from now on and buy my sauce at the grocery store.
Things got a little bit better when Doritos Cool Ranch came out!
@ShadyRK9 Cool Ranch Doritos for the win! A game-changer, right?😊
No they didn't. Of all the Doritos flavors, Cool Ranch has to be the least popular flavor.
@BabbleTop I'm back and if you're asking I'm fine
I loved Hot Pockets, Lean Cuisine,
Bagel Bites & Chicken McNuggets
@JaneDoe-ov1hb Great taste! Hot Pockets, Lean Cuisine, Bagel Bites, and Chicken McNuggets-delicious choices!💕
Wasn't born in the 80s, but I can definitely tell that some of these have left an impact.

@COMPFUNK2 Ecto Cooler-undeniably the best Hi-C variety, especially in the good ol' days.😊
Ecto Cooler was good! - WTF the flavor was tho. Haha
cant imagine babble top without your voice ❤❤
Didn’t Sierra Mist get replaced with Starry.
The shorts voice over is also 👌
❓
@12:00 I had to get the AMAZING school lunch or breakfast for $1.25!
@robertallison9653 Those $1.25 meals were the real MVPs of school days!✔️
I had a friend who used Big League Chew to give up smoking
Babble in da house yall 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
@germanywho Hey! Babble's in the house! 👍🏾
My favorite will always be Hot Wheels cereal. Marshmallow cars with wheel shaped grain pieces and a free hot wheel inside the box. 😀😀😀
@RajaReign78 The only cereal that came with a side of adventure!😁
Tab came out in the 60s
@marylist1236 That's right! Tab has a legacy dating back to the 60s.🎉
Umm, what? TAB didn't show up in any stores until the late '90s. What are you talking about?
@@darrylkinslow5613 Tab was introduced by Coca Cola in 1963

@darrylkinslow5613 The original 'diet' trendsetter that inspired a whole new energy era in the '90s!

I miss the OG lunchables. Crackers, meat, cheese, mustard, and an andes mint.
@nikkisowell3263 Nothing beats the OG Lunchables lineup!
I bought the GHOSTBUSTERS cassette soundtrack. The employee guy laughed @ me.
@JohnAranita Retro vibes for the win!
THe 80s gave us great food items
That makes me want to Drink Slice!
@SPAnComCat Ah, Slice! The taste of the good ol' days!
Slice had a variety of fruit flavors besides lemon lime (which they called “lymon”).
@COMPFUNK2 Lots of tasty fruit options.💕
Lemon and lime taste too similar, since both use the zest to make it. So "lymon" would be kind of pointless.
And I Love Chicken McNuggets with Sweet&Sour Sauce!
@SPAnComCat McNuggets + Sweet & Sour = Instant happiness in a box!
I still love Haagen-Dazs ice cream, Hot pockets, bagel bites, lunchables and chicken nuggets these are the only ones I like on the list😅🤷♀️
@kleine.5438 Your taste buds know what they like! Haagen-Dazs, Hot Pockets, Bagel Bites, Lunchables, and chicken nuggets-a tasty list.😋
There was also nerds the cereal back in the 80's also
Nerds candy or movie theme?
Awesome
@Kinglioncrown Thank you sou much!!!!!!!

@muppetsretrofan8873 True, the 2000s kept many favorites alive, like the timeless Bagel Bites!
I'm surprised kids of the 80s still have their teeth with all the cartoon-themed cereal and sugary snacks 🍬. I'm one of those 80s kids too 😂
@motownman383 Who needs perfect teeth when you have a childhood filled with sugary memories? 😂👧🏻
What about pac man pasta?
@jaykay8426 Pac-Man pasta is a creative and delicious idea!😋

I still get Chicken McNuggets occasionally to fill out the "free delivery" limit on a McDonald's DoorDash order..

Yes to Haagen-Dazs, the gold standard for ice cream. They need to make a frozen custard, too. ⬅
Tmnt mutant pies was fyeeeeeee😢 but the lemon was my favorite
I miss the 80's sooo much lol
@bruceaskew2107 Ah, the good old days! TMNT pies, especially the lemon, were a tasty memory.🥰
