the journey to embracing disability with confidence, finding comfort in your uniqueness, and liberating yourself from the constraints of societal judgment
God also has a purpose for you & your sister to be reunited when Jesus brings her back to life like he did to Lazarus. John 5:27-29 And he has given him authority to do judging, because he is the Son of man. 28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment. John 11:11 After he said these things, he added: “Lazʹa·rus our friend has fallen asleep, but I am traveling there to awaken him.” John 11:23-27 Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” 24 Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection+ on the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life; 26 and everyone who is living and exercises faith in me will never die at all. Do you believe this?” 27 She said to him: “Yes, Lord, I have believed that you are the Christ, the Son of God, the one coming into the world.” Acts 24:15 And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. Revelation 21:4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. @@dogloveer9785 There is a difference between being disabled and knowingly passing on genetic diseases to your children that can lead them to a life of suffering. This may not be her child. Just because you want a biological child, doesn't mean you should. However, a lot of people will have children with disabilities that they never expected, a big difference between that, and knowing that you have the gene that carries serious disabilities and diseases. Who would want that for any child.
My opinion may be unpopular, since many people are all about unconditional love and acceptance and stuff, but i don't think this mother should have brought this baby to the world. I think it is the responsibility of the parent to ensure that their children will be healthy and if there is such a high chance of the child being disabled/deformed then you shouldn't get children.
Thank you for your honesty. As beautiful as her message is, we know that there are cruel people in the world who will say things to both mom and child that will hurt them. I personally wouldn't choose to bring a child into the world if I had a deformity or disease that would be passed on to the child. Life is hard enough for a healthy person. Best of luck to the Mom and daughter. ♥️

Where l come from we have a prevalence of Sickle cell disease. Most modern families in this place are having not more than 2 children, others are choosing not to have at all. It's selfish to bring a child in this world to suffer. Her love isn't enough to cushion the baby from the harsh realities of life
@@sonjalivingston8241 i don't see any reason to believe in any god. Seems to be just a post hoc rationalization for everything. The child wasn't born because of the doing of some supernatural being, but because this woman decided so.
I had a disability. When I was born they said I would live for 8 to 10 days. But I'm 11 right now . And keep growing strong. I have hole in my neck, a G-button in my stomach, I can't walk so I'm in a wheelchair, and My spine in a S shape because I got scoliosis.
Yes but we don’t know how that baby came to be. Maybe her birth control failed, maybe something worse happened, … we can’t judge her on this without knowing and it’s not our business to know unless she wants to voice that.
she didn't ask to be born either but clearly she's strong in other areas which helped her pass on her genetics, whether it's for the better or for the worst doesn't really matter as nature doesn't give a fuck, it's not survival of the fittest, it's survival of the good enuf. and for someone she was good enuf.
Some things may be genetic passed down yet that's not ALWAYS the case. I have a beautiful grandson with Dandy Walker malformation. The chances of that were so little but it happens. My daughter is such an amazing mother and he may the smallest but he is a big brother to 2 more beautiful boys that are so good with him and neither of them have a disability. I stayed with my daughter at the Ronald McDonald house when he was born. This sweet baby in the video reminds me of a little girl that was there named Maddie. She was older tho like 10 or so I think and she was a ball of fire I tell you. Her mom has no disabilities. It was a rare thing that happened as well. But honestly, either way, I think people with disabilities deserve happiness too. The woman and baby in this video could be the happiest people ever. Most people that consider themselves "normal" can be so cruel with words sometimes. We all have things we're insecure about way I see it. What's the difference? We're all human.

That's what i was thinking, I have Autism, I have to live with it my whole life, and sometimes having it makes others think I'm weird, it took me a long time to not care what others think, I don't want to relive the hard times of my disability with a baby or kid, I rather adopt ❤
Sounds like you’d rather people end their lineage because you see them as lesser or incapable, it’s like believing people with dwarfism shouldn’t have kids, when in reality these people are very capable of existing and having happy lives. Someone superior to yourself may look down on you for having less than them, and wonder why you’d bring a child into the world and give it a poorer quality of life than they have, when in reality it’s all subjective. Let people be.
As someone with an autoimmune disease that is passed genetically, I choose not to have kids because I know they will either suffer the same fate I had to and somehow survive, or they simply they won’t make it past 20. Just my thoughts

I've always felt this way until just became a mom. And being 8 months pregnant now, I would love my baby however she comes. But if I had a disability that was guaranteed to be passed down to my daughters, I absolutely wouldn't have babies. I love them enough to know I never want them to suffer.
Sorry, there is no "knowingly" unless she had undergone IVF and pre-implantation testing. This is an aurosomal dominant disorder that is compatible with life. Everyone of her children ave 50% chance carrying this condition.
I have a multiple disabilities and am a firm believer those of us with disabilities should not procreate as it’s unfair to the child, there are many children who would love to be adopted and given a home.
So you're saying if your parents had known u would be disabled - u wish they would have aborted or just not had you? Right? Just making sure I'm understanding your perspective
You might want to check that self righteousness at the door. If you believe what you wrote, that would mean the majority of people wouldn’t procreate as the ADA lists things such as fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety, autism (the WHOLE spectrum), emotional disturbances, hearing impairment… the list goes on. Pretty sure God said to love thy neighbor as thyself, not judge thy neighbor.
No she did not say anything about what you wrote, she stated that her knowing she HAS disabilities and multiple she would make the choice to not have children, and feels that it’s the more responsible choice in general . Just because she was born with disabilities also does NOT mean automatically her parents also had disabilities either. Intentionally she would not want to risk creating a child with disabilities, which chances are greater in her case is what she’s saying.
Passing disabilities onto children who have no say should be a crime. Feel free to adopt, take advantage of any invitro technology that allows your child to live a normal life, or involve yourself in a career that allows you to be a positive role model for children. Confidence is one thing, but knowingly hindering your childs quality of life and well-being is fucked up. *Obviously i meant knowingly, this woman wasn't caught by surprise when she gave birth to a disabled child

Repent and put your trust in Him! He is coming back ❤❤❤
Most genetic disabilities are passed unknowingly. My take on this is different than yours: it is not about the disability that determines quality of life. It's about having a loving family who will take care of you no matter what. Some kids who would be considered "normal" have an even worse quality of life because they weren't born into a loving home. I personally want to foster or adopt children and teens with special needs because I would love to provide a loving home for them. I don't care what their needs are, I would just love them unconditionally. That's what children need most. Having a baby who can't grow up loved should be a crime.... You shouldn't be a crime because you were born different.
I love her motivation. I am a grown fat man who is very insecure about who I am, how i sound, and what I look like, but I that this young woman has a confident, godly spirit to perservere with such confidence and self assurance. I have disabilities that are genetic, and I absolutely refuse to have children because as a mother, your first thought would be protecting your children. If you brought them into this world knowing they were more likely than not going to be sick and/or disabled is messed up. I would never want this pain and the weariness to afflict my worst enemy, let alone someone that is genetically a part of me.
Okay. You can’t make that decision for everyone. It’s not messed up. She wanted a child like everybody else want one that she grew in their womb. She speaks well assuming this is her speaking in the video. She can hold her baby, and I feel like she can walk, she might not even have a physical disability that affects how she does stuff. She spoke in full sentences, I’m sure her child will be fine. Don’t be hateful when sharing your opinion. 🫶🏻🤷♀️
@@lalyahpalma2137 I never claimed to be able to make that decision for everyone - I do, however, have the right to express my opinion on a *public* video. Nothing in what I said was hateful. She could have adopted or had an egg donor - there are myriads of ways to become a mother without passing on genetic issues to your offspring.
@@js9248My first thought seeing this video was wondering why anyone would want to have kids they could pass a disability to, unless it was an accidental pregnancy. It's not because I'm ableist or hate people with disabilities, it's just that once that child is born they have to go through the same struggles and hardships, and like you said, I can't imagine seeing my kid go through that.
@Spider-Rat77 Exactly. As I said, I have a ton of disabilities myself, and some days, I can't even get out of the bed because of pain. The pain meds barely touch it, but they also have their own side effects that can be debilitating. Also, another somewhat controversial opinion I have - unless it's truly a miracle, "accidental" pregnancies these days are hard for me to accept - I am essentially Fertile Myrtle (I can get pregnant, but cannot carry to term). After having several miscarriages, and then finally being diagnosed with a bunch of disabilities, I stopped trying. I got on birth control and asked my husband to get snipped. Until his sperm was clear, we used condoms, as well as birth control to prevent anything.

I agree why make another life suffer like you i feel sorry for the kid in the future
I recommend listening to Death- living monstrosity. A classic 90's metal bands take on the issue.

Being fat is not a disability, ur lazy and gross fix it
I have disabilities that are genetic, and I absolutely refuse to have children because as a mother, your first thought would be protecting your children.
This world is hard enough to navigate through without deliberately passing on stuff to make your child's life harder.
@@lalyahpalma2137do you see that shit it fuked up just adopt if you want a kid wtf

I walked around with my head down all my life because my mother always said I was ugly. My disability was my parents. You're amazing ❤❤❤
This comment hurts me. I hate to hear that fam God bless you.
I was also abused verbally and emotionally by ny parents. I hated my life, I was just a child.
I have the same disability 😢
😮 Oh my! That's heartbreaking. I'm glad you realized it's NOT you, it's her. I bet you're gorgeous ❤
Everyone is beautiful in their own way ❤️
I couldn’t bring a child in the world if I had such disability. It’ll be hard on me and the child 😢😢
Exactly why do that to your child.
I KNOW HOW COULD SHE DO THAT KNOWING THE LIFE SHE HAS & ALL THE COMPLICATIONS THAT COME WITH BEING DISABLED!!!
shes probably one of them weirdos that think having a biological child makes the child worth more, if you wouldnt love your child even if you werent related then you do not love your child.
Yup
...but this isn't your child...🤔
The baby is so cute bro. It’s fine to be like that and Mom made her so in the name of Jesus don’t be bullying a man.
OOooohh my goodness who else when straight to the comments😂😂😂
If you have a disability like this peace don’t inflict this pain on someone else
What does that mean????? It's not contagious and if your saying she not allowed to have kids that's what Hitler said during WW2 disabled people shouldn't have kids so your basically agreeing with Hitler
Its selfishness on one side and love on the other. Hard to think about this subjects
@@codydiffinity3640the baby will not have a normal life you never know what could happen down the road….in the beginning off 2016 my little brother on my dad side had a stroke and was on life support flatlined two times they did surgery on his brain now he's a vegetable for the rest of his life. He's 19 now…when he was born he was only projected to live to the age of maybe 2 because he was born deformed with problems due to his mom having a lot of health problems including she was like 40 on lots of medications plus she was obsess….it was cool when when my little brother could talk because jit was funny only thing was that growing up he couldn't play like the other kids because of how he was….
@@codydiffinity3640im pretty sure you saying what you saying because you don't have people born with disabilties in your family especially nothing that severe that's why you saying that but you only have your opinion. Nothing that's first hand
@@lyunboiss lol I'm a nurse I work with people with disabilities daily don't need to have someone in my family to have an say on the matter the fact is people with disabilities have a choice just like the rest of us you can't decide whats right or wrong in their lives that's up to them
There is no need for cruelty over physical differences. Friendly compassion is a powerful attitude with anyone.
I agree but it's just cruel to put that burden on your child just for your own self confidence.
I think she just wanted to have a child...
She didn't try to put any burden on her baby
@@israelkonan777 If ultrasounds exist where she's from it is 100% the mother putting the burden of physical deformities onto the child. Diabetes and alcoholism runs in my family so I'm probably not having kids. I understand not to burden others with my problems and my problems aren't a quarter of this ladys. She's selfish plain and simple

I love how strong people with disabilities can be the fact that we see it as a disability and they see it as their everyday normal life. THEY'RE WONDERFUL❤
I agree 💯 but also how weak people who are .
oh you think it's wonderful that people with bad genes pass it on to their kids?!
Except the fact that she ruined that child’s life
@@SiennaArtsandCraftsBro the fact u js proved how simple minded your brain is the person is saying they because they can be anything anything living they legit said they're wonderful read and understand stuff before trying to insinuate something 😒
@@SiennaArtsandCraftsThey is used when you don't know someones pronouns, so you say "they".
That’s wild to willingly have a child that you know would also be sick
THANK U!
It is selfish evil and hateful towards an INNOCENT! Soul.
And she should called out for it
Cause she 100% knew that the child would be born like her.
Yup
Dat baby is takin a massive shit
who tf the dad is the question I have
I guarantee you the taxpayers are funding their livelihood. We carry the burden. Damn shame to do this to a child.

Bruh, what you think the baby daddy looks like?? Seriously curious...
Disabled people are almost always the kindest, noblest, and most giving people I ever meet.
Kind yet she knowly passed on her condition to an innocent child... that's not very kind, in fact it's down right horrible.

IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY LIKE THIS, BY ALL MEANS DON'T HAVE CHILDREN AND PASS THESE TRAITS TO YOUR CHILDREN. THINK ABOUT WHAT THEIR LIVES WILL BE LIKE.

You're right.
Yep
The nazis believed the same thing lol
That's why they forbid certain people to reproduce and ended up sterilizing people with different disabilities.
