The NFL is not given the young quarterbacks enough time to develop they want them to come in and be super good in the first or two years because we have seen some quarterbacks do so but that is not for every quarterback if Lily take time for quarterbacks to adjust to the NFL then what's crazy is they go back and get these quarterbacks that was drafted first and second round picks but has not clear the virus developed fast and go back and get them because they have developed more I think Justin Field just need to develop more baker Mayfield after he developed more he became a threat

A conversation between two people is always less lively than a conversation with three, it’s just what it is. Plus, Brou and Wildes just play different functions in the dynamic.
This shows not the same without Broussard. These 2 are still good, but you have to have the trio.

How? Did a QB magically get better than mahomes. It doesn’t matter who is on your team if your QB can’t make the right decisions. No QB in the league right now has the arm strength + accuracy + mobility + leadership + lack of pressure + the most important CONSISTENT GOOD DECISIONS so it doesn’t matter who signs where your QB is gonna throw it to the wrong team and get sacked to much to win that’s what every QB not named mahomes or purdy did and that’s what’s going to happen again.

The look on Joe Burrow’s face when Aaron Donald sacked him was like he had seen a ghost once he realized the pass was incomplete.
The Bengals had a horrific offensive line and were lucky to be in that game. OBJ tearing his ACL non contact, and then Tee Higgins OPI to get a cheap touchdown in the second half. They were the inferior team even though they had the better QB.
@geordiehalma7323 I wouldn't say Burrow is a better QB than Stafford. I know the guy wasted his career in Detroit but he's an elite QB with a superbowl ring to show for it. All these crazy no looks and side arm passes you guys praise mahomes for Stafford was doing his whole career. To me Stafford is the most underrated QB in the league. All sports talk shows forget about him and fans think a Lamar Jackson or Trevor Lawrence is better which is insulting and hilarious.
@@mili-oh4481Lamar is better in the regular season, but consistently chokes in the playoffs… I don’t think anyone thinks Trevor is better, but he is younger and still has unfulfilled potential… No one would take him over Stafford next year, but most would for the next 10 years because Stafford probably has 3-5 years left at max

I think LT's reg season MVP makes him kind if untouchable as the goat defensive player. It's basically impossible for a defensive player to win it now, but it was nearly that back then. It had been 15 years since the last def player before him.

I've realized that the 3 core members of the show is the perfect fit. It's weird when one of you is missing. It's not really the same when you have a 4th guy like Coach or Jennings. The OG 3 is what makes the show tick.

Ray Lewis missing the the Mt. Rushmore of defensive players is insane. 2 SBs, with a SB MVP, DPOY, all time league leader in tackles (like in all of football history, he has the most tackles), 40 sacks and 30 picks, and 13 pro bowls (most of any linebacker ever). He has a case for greatest defensive player ever. 😤
Not to mention that teams legit feared him. Receivers legit wouldn’t leave their feet to catch a ball when playing the Ravens because they were scared to get killed by him. He HAS to be on the list of best defensive players, period.

As a guy who, for years, just loved watching football without digging into player rankings, stats, etc... I've learned so much since being homebound due to my ALS diagnosis (well actually symptoms). Only wish I'd been watching longer!!!

I'm not even a Ravens fan but I have to admit Ray Lewis is the GOAT defender and its not really close. A defense (as a whole) needs to do 3 things: rush the passer, stop the run, and cover the receiver. Lewis is the only individual the excelled at all 3. To top it off, his locker room presence was like no other (even Deion followed him). He was the closest thing to a one-man defense that ever existed and the Ravens D was never the same once he retired.

😮 The moment i realised Pickett is actually a couple months older than Hurts.
i wouldn’t necessarily call it a trend that “teams are now ripping off the bandaid”. i think it’s we just left an entire era of QB legends (with the exception of Rodgers). Drew Brees, Manning brothers, Big Ben, Brady, Rivers, Favre, Romo, and even Matt Ryan, who all retired pretty much around the same time. like all of those guys dominated for so long that no one was gonna replace them or take their spot. the fact that a sports league had that many generational talents is pretty rare. not all of them found success in winning super bowls. but go look at the stats and you’ll see all of those guys in the top 10 in something or multiple categories

Let me just say, this show is much more enjoyable to watch without Brou being there to talk over Nick and vice versa. I like when the guys are able to get their point across without interruptions. That’s why I love watching Mike and Chris on PFT.

All I’m saying is, LT came from the edge which means at most he’s taking the tackle and rb during his pass rush. AD mainly played interior earlier in his career then started to bounce out, dude would take triple teams and the rb to the qbs lap. LT definitely the 2nd greatest but I’m taking AD personally

Unpopular opinion. Donald wasn't even the best defensive player of his generation. It was JJ Watt. Donald didn't deal with injuries, but at their peaks, Watt might've been the best ever. Also put together the best defensive season ever in that peak.
Maybe it's me being ignorant but I don't understand why Nick constantly talks about Fields being gone from the Bears. Sure he is in love with Caleb but that doesn't mean the Bears are.
