I definitely advise checking on some mods for Skyrim VR! It changes it from a very, very basic port to something that feels like it was made for VR. Do you want your own hands? To see your own body when you look down or in reflections? To be able to physically pick up and hold each of the items in the world, or throw them at people? To grab Lydia by the face and pull her across the whiterun market? MODS
Mod it up... I paid premium subscription for a month to nexus so I could do it through a wabbajack... it's worth it but can be done wothout it. The falvour of the mod is entirely subjective but the bases that you need like HIGGS, VRIK, PLANCK all configured in these packs and they drasticly game changes. After this game jsut simply bacome one of the greatest most immersive VR game of all time. Bethesda thankfully never touched SkyrimVR with their nasty patches so all mod you can get from nexus or from other places working fine. Also modders where able to fix so many bugs the main studio would never even bothered.
@wasthatenglish9061 VRIK is a Skyrim VR mod, it's basically how Skyrim should have been done, it give you a real body (no more floating hands), give you holster for weapon and way more. It's usually paired with HIGGS (another mods that work with VRIK) that let your hand (and your weapon) to collide with the world, it's a must have for Skyrim VR (those only two mods increase your immersion by 100%)
@@wasthatenglish you can get them on Nexus mods , just search for "VRIK Skyrim VR" and same for "HIGGS" (also on Nexus ) I'm sure you will find them pretty quickly, for the installation their is a lot of tutorial on TH-cam ! (The install process is also explain on the nexus page it's pretty easy to setup)
