The story about Christopher Lee meeting Tolkien reminds me of the scene from gladiator “You knew Marcus Aurelius?!” “I didn’t say I knew Marcus Aurelius, I said he touched me on the shoulder once!”
As one of the people who witnessed the Karl Exodus, I am delighted to finally load the channel again and see that at least part of the status quo has been re-established (I haven't watched the video yet). Possibly a very late "welcome back" Karl, but a heartfelt one nonetheless. Your content filled much of our free time in the past with interesting content and a wholesome personality. Keep up the good work, I will subscribe again to you on Patreon soon, love from Leeds. Out of context, we lived in Sheffield for a short period too and absolutely loved some of the Asian / Chinese restaurants in that city, New Jumboo was one of them, I wonder if they still exist...
Much like Lee, I had a handful of celebrity encounters, living in Portland, Oregon. In 2002, while alone waiting downtown very early for the light rail to go to high school, a limo pulled up next to me waiting for the light. The passenger window in the back rolled down and it was Tommy Lee Jones. He said ‘Howdy’, I said hi back, the light changed and he went along his way. I later learned he was there filming Hunted.
I’ve always considered a good Christopher Lee cameo is the role he played in the film “Serial” (early 1980s) - the role was of a business exec during the week and a gay American hells Angel at the weekend. The film itself isn’t much to talk about.
I often don’t know lots of the facts around the subject you guys are speaking on. I’ve just learned to trust you guys cause your site resources and even when I do go to look up stuff I’ve heard on here myself. I usually find the same results
So, it was a week after watching the video it hit me that this video features two people that were also known as: "Where's Simon?" Seriously, I love the work of both Karl and Eric. Glad to see you all working together outside of the Biographics bubble.
Cage apparently wanted to have the bees dumped upon him, but he had committed to other productions and his people didn't want to risk a swollen eye or something.
Wait, is the Robin Hood from that Robin Hood show Will Scarlet from Men in Tights? And is that that one dreadlocked dude from the first Mortal Kombat film? What is this show? Where can I watch it?
Although it's not exactly courteous to leave a second comment, I hope you don't mind the exception because I would like to say, once again, how happy I am Karl is back! Towards the end of the video, I thought I caught some hints of hurt and although a stranger, it breaks my heart to witness good people experiencing mundane hardships. There was a time when I could have done a little difference but now the company I was working for shut down because of how great the English economy has been, so it makes me feel doubly sorry for what you are going through and possibly are still going through.
I was working in a restaurant and my boss came into the kitchen "Who made that chicken salad sandwich!?" I was like "Me..." Expecting to get in trouble or something. He told me it was for Manny Pacquiao. He was training at a gym up the road and really liked our restaurant.
I used to be in Club Aliens is better than Alien. BUT... I recently-ish saw the Director's Cut of Alien, released in the early 00s (yes, decades after the original release) and I put it on the same tier as Aliens. There's less monster footage and more character development. The pacing is improved, too. The whole thing actually clocks in a few minutes shorter than the theatrical release. All with original footage. Highly recommend it for anyone that hasn't seen the Alien DC.
14:31 - on the other hand, if you intentionally omit saying it, then all those people commenting about it will drive up engagement and thus serve as tribute to the Algorithm Gods. 😜
No, no I don’t Karl, whenever I think of Dracula I go right for the guy who got me laid, the late, great Sir Christopher Lee. When I think of goth music is when Bella gets his props, but my true Dracula was and will always be Sir Christopher. He’s plainly cooler and sexier.
I hadn't seen a single video from this channel in years. Stopped watching because you kept talking about American politics and it was just campy and cringe (i dont even disagree with your takes, it's simply that i did not care tuning into that should be media for laughs and interest... Only to get lectured to). At any rate, i looked to the channel out of curiosity and MY how we have fallen. From a video about "orca elbow-drops" getting hundreds of thousands of views... To getting lucky when you break 80k. Smh. Learn from your mistakes. Have a nice life 🍻
I took the money the channel made and bought a house. Life is pretty good. Hope you enjoyed watching this at the job you’ll be stuck in for the next 40 years.

Go watch Eric riff on Alien - th-cam.com/video/_jpKTllluiY/w-d-xo.html

No special days on the channel you say? Any day with a Christopher Lee video is a special day considering how epic he lived.
I saw christopher lee , clicked right away.

Same. That man was a true hero to all nerd kind.
Same here brother 😂
The story about Christopher Lee meeting Tolkien reminds me of the scene from gladiator
“You knew Marcus Aurelius?!”
“I didn’t say I knew Marcus Aurelius, I said he touched me on the shoulder once!”
Tolkien was badass
reminder to look up Rhapsody - Magic of the Wizard's Dream.
Dude did the song in multiple languages
"Snakes on a Plane 3: TIgers on a Spaceship!"
just imagining this man voicing random character saying "My source is I MADE IT THE FUCK UP" brightened my day

Same dude, I just got a fact fiend recommendation and i was so excited! I didn't know Karl's been back a while now.
So what I am hearing is that I hire you for free to say "We are making the mother of all omelets jack." for whatever project I need.
Still no ads? Have not watched in a few years and i legit thought you were no longer on youtube. You rock man.
6:34 😂😂 Now I'm just picturing the Alien skit from Family Guy. 😂😂 Zoop!

He may be deadly allergic if bees guys come on

@AltonV 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The scene where he punches the lady while wearing a bear suit is just fantastic!

What is this show? Where can I watch it?
Learning about Christopher Lee reading LOTR every year really reminded me of how many actors are just huge nerds
4:18 Giraffe-cula
I still chuckle when I remember that Saruman meme of him singing the Trololo song.
the new adventures of robin hoold looks so bad that it may actually be good. i need to find this now.
As long as the alien doesn't say alan allen alan allen

Metal Head Lee BABY 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
If I ever make a video game I'll 100% hit you up to do the pain/jump/falling sounds

Xenomorphs have latent physic powers and having cults worshipping them as gods makes me realize where warhammer 40k got the idea for genestealers
Eric's american accent is really jarring after so long 😂
I know it's not enough for a full vid, but, could wiki talk about Christopher Lee's role as Mr. Sender in the movie "The Stupids"?
Karl is George Clooney from the South Park episode Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride.
Hell yeah
How do i audition for the cosmic horror thing?
i pronounce tolkien as jirt because why not
I've been watching too much wiki weekends to hear not-lucas
