That is because it’s in the authentic Hadith which was narrated by men and woman of prophets time. I am questioning his reasoning here because if he were to doubt inanimate things talking he will be rejecting what the Quran says as well , and that will make him a disbeliever to deny the Quran . We should not divide the ummah with discussions on religion.
