My little one was the same with the next to me crib until I started swaddling her before I layer her down, idk if you already do this but i defo recommend. It makes them feel like there in the womb x

One thing with the cot, the nurses in the hospital put a towel in a pillowcase and laid my son on top and it worked a treat up until 4 months and then weaned him off it or take the Moses basket into your room if he sleeps better in it
