I appreciate so much what the pack has to offer and I cannot wait to start adding some of these new animals to my zoo projects. And I hope Planet Zoo keeps going for a long time. I don't have several hours a day to play, I have maybe a few hours each week. So it takes me much longer to create a single habitat, let alone a whole zoo project. I Looove the new pack, and i love even more is your new build. The only thing that is a bit od for me are the windows on the front, because the right one is different then the left. This is not with negative meaning at all. I really really love your work and i cant wait 3 months because maybe you will finnaly start the primate house😅😝💚💚
I think windows on the left are designed to match the stairs going up on the inside of the wall. There is a similar feature with the windows in a spire on the church I attend, they go up with the stairs.

This is single handedly my favorite reptile house build ive seen in PZ. I love the classic aesthetic and the statues towards the entrancr. The new DLC is going to be bomb as well. Such an awesome pack in my opinion - perhaps not a standout like some - but solid in every way with very cool species all the way around. I am stoked to finally get another lizard and piggy. The sloth species matches the one seen on posters in game so I appreciate the consistency. Can't forget the fossa and lar gibbon as well which will surely be beautiful and well-used by many.
The front of the house looks amazing and super realistic. I can‘t wait for the rest of this house. At first when I heared that the sloth will be an exibit animal, I was a little bit disappointed because the form and the size of the enclosure is strongly limited. But now I think, it‘s the better than an "normal" habitat because in reallife sloth enclosure‘s are always indoor and with the exibit the animations of the sloth can be a lot better and when you make the barriers of the exibit unvisible, you can build an enclosure that not looks rectangular.

Simply the first few seconds look amazing....The amount of detail is just awesome 😨. Can't wait how it will look like in the end (and maybe the Ape house comes after this is finished 🤔😄). 16:20 I was so happy when I realized that we finally get the Lar Gibbon (as most of my favorite zoos have them....and I was very disappointed as we got the Siamang instead with one of the last packs)...also the Fossa and the Red River Hog....because despite that they are amazing animals, I now can rebuild some of my favourite zoos. I'm not very happy with the new monitor...but we will see, it will definitely at least be a great choice for reptile houses or smaller habitats to fill gaps... I already thought when we knew that we might get the Fossa, that I don't care what else we get with this pack (just the Fossa makes it a perfect pack)... 😅. But that's somehow a massively growing problem in our society, that a lot of people can't let other people be happy with something...and that they always need to attack these people (like for example you say, you wish for animal A or B, it mostly takes seconds until someone says, that he doesn't want animal A or B at all but only his choice 🙄😕)

I totally agree with you that people should temper their expectations. Once upon a time I put a forum post up that said that overhyping something harms the game. A lot of people were very strongly disagreeing with me. However, I see that everything I warned about is happening. I hope people can just start enjoying the game again

Budynek - jak zawsze - genialnie zaprojektowany i wykonany z największą dbałością o szczegóły. Budowla po prostu cieszy oko i inspiruje. Przyznać muszę, że jedno mnie zastanawia - trochę nie pasuje mi ta balustrada na balkonie (jeżeli to balkon oczywiście) - na mnie robi wrażenie takiej tymczasowej (niczym barierki na demonstracjach ;) ) i jakoś tak... odstaje od "wiekowej i statycznej" całości. To oczywiście tylko moje odczucie i zdanie a nie żadna krytyka ;)
Dziękuję bardzo! Oryginalny budynek też miał coś takiego i dlatego też postanowiłem to dodać. Jest to barierka na dachu na którym będą różne urządzenia typu klimatyzatory itp więc jest tam dla bezpieczeństwa i nie ma wyglądać jakoś pięknie 🤓

I thought I recognized the building! It is indeed it is my city's zoo! I've seen your style, no wonder I liked it so much. I really love my local zoo, were you in the Tierpark too? It is also worth a visit. I hope one day that Planet Zoo will one day add flying birds, I really want to rebuild it. ^^

Hello Cesar. I absolutely love you builds and are very beautiful. Maybe for the reptile house you could put the Saltwater crocodile habitat outsibe and inside as it would be more realistic as they need some sunlight. But if you are already doing this than that is great. I am fery looking forward to this new reptile house mini series of yours.

such an AMAZING build! I can't WAIT to see what it would go! SUPER exciting about new house! but N O W Tropical Pack Topic: I feel this dlc is one of the best scenery packs that we ever saw and even maybe one of the best dlc that we ever saw, YES! there is stuff that could have been improved like to get Two-Toed Sloth instead the Three-Toed Sloth because they are almost in every zoo while the Three-Toed Sloth is only in one zoo in US and I don't think any zoo in europe have them, but get to the point yeah I'm one of the people's who likes more the Two-Toed Sloth but the Three-Toed Sloth is the most iconic Sloth, but what I mean is that every pack could have been improved! and if frontier decides to give us the Three-Toed Sloth instead of the Two-Toed Sloth even I that like the Toed-Toed More I'm just happy to see a SLOTH in the game, or even just to see a NEW DLC for PZ!! We don't think about it, but the support can end at any time, and believe me, there will be a time when you will simply miss waiting for the news and for new dlc! so that is all I cared about is to see more dlcs for PZ, of course I have preferences as to which animals I want to see and which animals less so, but that's the point, it's not a game set up for me or for anyone, frontier looks at what the community wants, not what each person wants to receive. of course a lot of people's want to see birds and such but maybe just frontier working on how to make it to be the best, to do something that the community would love and be happy with! and if It's important to you to get specific animal or birds or whatever, you need to continue support this game and that what would show to frontier that a lot people's still adore this game and want to see a lot more stuff and then we can see more support for the game! So of course it's great to bring your opinion on how you think it could have been better and believe me Frontier is looking on it and they learn from it! But you also have to know how to write things and not just ruin people's excitement, because that's just stupid. anyway sorry for the long post, I just have a lot to say on the subject haha, in any case, excellent video Cesar! can't wait to see more!
I also recently started building on a reptile house :). And i also really like building detailed habitats and got really frustated with most of our ingame reptiles since they all got pretty huge hitboxes and pretty bad traversable areas espacially the 3 big crocodilians and the monitors. Both caimans are better but not great either. Tortoises are fine since their enclosures are never that detailed anyways. So i really hope you know what you got yourself into cesar! :D

This is truly amazing. Love it. Btw you could perhaps put some of the screens in the water with a video of some fish to make the little lake a little more alive. I think the new pack is very interesting and if I played anymore I would definitely buy it. I'm curies about the sloth and what the future might bring..
The building is amazing so detailed. Cant wait to see the continuation of it. For the pack, i think the roster is decent. Ofc there are reskins but most of the are essential zoo animals. & i would not call the gibbon a reskin cause of the new brachiation. For the bulding pieces i dont hink that they are nut usefull.The new all set is amazing and saves some creators a lot of pieces. So lets wait how verything looks like but i`m happy with the choices. & let`s not forget, the free update is f...cking amazing and brings some long awaited features, makes building a bit easier & brings mroe realism to animal interactions
I can totally understand that. This building was however constructed with a lot of pieces from the base game as well as Twilight Pack that should be out on consoles already!
I'm thinking about buying this game now because of that building system, but to be honest the complexity of it and possibilities it gives absolutely scare me. I know I would want to perfect every piece of building, and with that much creative freedom, I would have to lock myslef in my room for months in order to build anything. It basically looks like a 3D modelling software like Blender.
Yeah the building system is amazing but I get what you mean! There are endless possibilities and it can get a little overwhelming at first but once you figure out what you actually want to build it gets a little easier!
I am very happy that he will finally be in the reptile at the elm hill city zoo. It is a very nice house for reptiles. And a perfect video. Are you also planning a Komodo dragon? Because I like them very much.🙂🙂🙂
Great video as Cesar! The only problem I have with the new pack is that the sloth is in the walk though exhibit. I'd have personally preferred it in the 4x4 but I'm still glad we're getting it. And not gonna lie, I would have loved a smaller monkey.

Amazing build Cesar! And I totally agree with your opinions here. This pack not being an animal pack is a bit of a "disappointment" to me, but whenever the game is finished we definitely need items and flora like this as well, so I'm not mad. Personally I actually like the Lar Gibbon the best of the bunch (despite never being a fan of the Siamang), and obviously the sloth as an exhibit animal is awesome. Having them as walkthrough exhibit animals doesn't mean you can't create awesome habitats for them, or even build as though they were regular habitats.
how on earth did you make the corners on the European limestone pieces on the roof? I've been trying to make something similar for so long and had to go for diagonal corners that is so impressive
That is a real beautiful classical building. As far as the DLC is concerned, I'm one of the critics, because I don't like any of the animals. The stuff in the free update on the other hand looks very promising to me. I'm not a great builder, but breeding the best animals from the species I like is my thing. So I'm looking forward to the update.
I did the general shape of the building using the plaster pieces but then I added limestone walls and decorations on top of it. The building is mainly created using the limestone
Ok first off, beautiful build! Took so much inspiration from this. I honestly have no idea how your computer survives running this lol. I agree with what you said mostly about the new DLC. For me personally this pack isn't my all time favourite, but its close. I love the scenery, Fossa, Red River Hog, Sloth, and Lar Gibbon are amazing. I think part of me not liking it is just because I prefer animal packs and also only one of the new animals have a new rig (Fossa), I was just expecting another to have a new rig like when you compare these animals to the ones in other scenery packs, like instead of the Monitor we couldve got the Shoebill or Tree Kangaroo. But like you said, if you have no expectations, you can't get disapointed and can just be happy with whatever we get. Regardless I am super happy about the Monitor as Frontier always does super well with their reptiles. I'm so curious of what the pack in the summer is gonna be. Its the first time we have an animal pack in the summer. This could fill in the rest of the wishlist like the Porcupine, Secretary Bird, Baboon, Honey Badger, I have a feeling that ones gonna be one of my favourite packs.
the water monitor is basically just a smaller komodo. they could've put any other lizard in there. like Argentine Black and White Tegu. or just any tegu in general. but they decided to add another monitor. at this point they're just adding shit to add shit

I think the discontent with the Tropical packs roster is not about whats in it, since all of them are perfectly fine inclusions for such a pack, but whats missing. For me personally I really really wished that they made this an animal pack instead. Its not a bad pack, its just such missed potential and thats why people are so negative about this one i think
Sure! I totally get that! As a builder I am always happy with more building pieces but I get why people would like more animal packs. I am sure that the next one will be the animal pack for sure!

Nice work man. You'll be putting in the fossa right. But don't put it in with the lemurs. Separated from the lemurs. Otherwise, the lemurs might get eaten. LOL. Nice work on the Reptile house Facade. It looks so realistic. But when you do put the panda or the hippo in, That would be cool. Especially. The hippos we need. A lot of water. I seen how big those hippos are. They're the most dangerous animal in Africa. Killing 400 people each year. You'll make sure the fence is hippo proof. How do I you don't want them escaping? I cannot wait to see the finished reptile house. With all these different animals in the reptile house, all. All the different. R Reptiles. And all the amphibians are going to put in. It's going to be so sick. When you put the panda in there. It's going to be cool as well. When you get to your bear house, And the primate house will be sick. Nice work.
I'm disappointed in the new pack for two simple reasons. One, I understand why the Sloth is an exhibit animal, but that limits creativity so much, and I believe if Frontier tried they could have created arboreal animal behaviour. If modders can make fish that stay exclusively in th water, Frontier should be able to make a habitat Sloth. Second, when this game stops receiving support, modders will keep it alive, the same way they did for Zoo Tycoon 2. Before that happens I want Frontier to release as many new skeletons and animations as they possibly can. Modders could (and have) made any of the animals in this pack barring the Sloth (can't make new exhibit animals). We could have had a Sifaka with their unique running animation, or, heaven forbid, a bird. I know it's probably the most fraught topic in the community, but a zoo game without flying birds, let alone aquariums, is not a finished game. Edit: Also, if it was a free update I would agree that all the negativity is absurd, but Frontier expects us to pay for these packs. They aren't made out of the goodness of their hearts, it's a transaction, so people have every right to be upset. Some people take it way too far however, I'll admit that.
Hmm but if you don’t want to, you are not obligated to pay any money to anyone. It’s your choice in the end. I think that the sloth makes a total sense for the walkthrough exhibit. I saw them in several zoos and they NEVER move. They are super cool animals to see but they are mostly chilling in one spot and that’s it. At this point most of the community wants birds and I am more than sure that they are aware of that so I think that they wouldn’t miss that opportunity for a potentially very successful DLC

I also really like the ramp for people with a wheelchair or a stroller because it’s really realistic to have these things in zoos.

Budynek - jak zawsze - genialnie zaprojektowany i wykonany z największą dbałością o szczegóły. Budowla po prostu cieszy oko i inspiruje. Przyznać muszę, że jedno mnie zastanawia - trochę nie pasuje mi ta balustrada na balkonie (jeżeli to balkon oczywiście) - na mnie robi wrażenie takiej tymczasowej (niczym barierki na demonstracjach ;) ) i jakoś tak... odstaje od "wiekowej i statycznej" całości. To oczywiście tylko moje odczucie i zdanie a nie żadna krytyka ;)

Oryginalny budynek też miał coś takiego i dlatego też postanowiłem to dodać. Jest to barierka na dachu na którym będą różne urządzenia typu klimatyzatory itp więc jest tam dla bezpieczeństwa i nie ma wyglądać jakoś pięknie 🤓

Hello Cesar. I absolutely love you builds and are very beautiful. Maybe for the reptile house you could put the Saltwater crocodile habitat outsibe and inside as it would be more realistic as they need some sunlight. But if you are already doing this than that is great. I am fery looking forward to this new reptile house mini series of yours.

such an AMAZING build! I can't WAIT to see what it would go! SUPER exciting about new house! but N O W Tropical Pack Topic: I feel this dlc is one of the best scenery packs that we ever saw and even maybe one of the best dlc that we ever saw, YES! there is stuff that could have been improved like to get Two-Toed Sloth instead the Three-Toed Sloth because they are almost in every zoo while the Three-Toed Sloth is only in one zoo in US and I don't think any zoo in europe have them, but get to the point yeah I'm one of the people's who likes more the Two-Toed Sloth but the Three-Toed Sloth is the most iconic Sloth, but what I mean is that every pack could have been improved! and if frontier decides to give us the Three-Toed Sloth instead of the Two-Toed Sloth even I that like the Toed-Toed More I'm just happy to see a SLOTH in the game, or even just to see a NEW DLC for PZ!! We don't think about it, but the support can end at any time, and believe me, there will be a time when you will simply miss waiting for the news and for new dlc! so that is all I cared about is to see more dlcs for PZ, of course I have preferences as to which animals I want to see and which animals less so, but that's the point, it's not a game set up for me or for anyone, frontier looks at what the community wants, not what each person wants to receive.
of course a lot of people's want to see birds and such but maybe just frontier working on how to make it to be the best, to do something that the community would love and be happy with! and if It's important to you to get specific animal or birds or whatever, you need to continue support this game and that what would show to frontier that a lot people's still adore this game and want to see a lot more stuff and then we can see more support for the game! So of course it's great to bring your opinion on how you think it could have been better and believe me Frontier is looking on it and they learn from it! But you also have to know how to write things and not just ruin people's excitement, because that's just stupid. anyway sorry for the long post, I just have a lot to say on the subject haha, in any case, excellent video Cesar! can't wait to see more!

I also recently started building on a reptile house :). And i also really like building detailed habitats and got really frustated with most of our ingame reptiles since they all got pretty huge hitboxes and pretty bad traversable areas espacially the 3 big crocodilians and the monitors. Both caimans are better but not great either. Tortoises are fine since their enclosures are never that detailed anyways.
So i really hope you know what you got yourself into cesar! :D

For the pack, i think the roster is decent. Ofc there are reskins but most of the are essential zoo animals. & i would not call the gibbon a reskin cause of the new brachiation.
For the bulding pieces i dont hink that they are nut usefull.The new all set is amazing and saves some creators a lot of pieces. So lets wait how verything looks like but i`m happy with the choices.
& let`s not forget, the free update is f...cking amazing and brings some long awaited features, makes building a bit easier & brings mroe realism to animal interactions

I'm thinking about buying this game now because of that building system, but to be honest the complexity of it and possibilities it gives absolutely scare me. I know I would want to perfect every piece of building, and with that much creative freedom, I would have to lock myslef in my room for months in order to build anything. It basically looks like a 3D modelling software like Blender.
Yeah the building system is amazing but I get what you mean! There are endless possibilities and it can get a little overwhelming at first but once you figure out what you actually want to build it gets a little easier!

Great video as Cesar! The only problem I have with the new pack is that the sloth is in the walk though exhibit. I'd have personally preferred it in the 4x4 but I'm still glad we're getting it. And not gonna lie, I would have loved a smaller monkey.

Amazing build Cesar! And I totally agree with your opinions here. This pack not being an animal pack is a bit of a "disappointment" to me, but whenever the game is finished we definitely need items and flora like this as well, so I'm not mad. Personally I actually like the Lar Gibbon the best of the bunch (despite never being a fan of the Siamang), and obviously the sloth as an exhibit animal is awesome. Having them as walkthrough exhibit animals doesn't mean you can't create awesome habitats for them, or even build as though they were regular habitats.

how on earth did you make the corners on the European limestone pieces on the roof? I've been trying to make something similar for so long and had to go for diagonal corners that is so impressive

That is a real beautiful classical building. As far as the DLC is concerned, I'm one of the critics, because I don't like any of the animals. The stuff in the free update on the other hand looks very promising to me. I'm not a great builder, but breeding the best animals from the species I like is my thing. So I'm looking forward to the update.

Cesar, what was the building material with that you started with? Was it plaster walls?
I did the general shape of the building using the plaster pieces but then I added limestone walls and decorations on top of it. The building is mainly created using the limestone
Ok first off, beautiful build! Took so much inspiration from this. I honestly have no idea how your computer survives running this lol. I agree with what you said mostly about the new DLC. For me personally this pack isn't my all time favourite, but its close. I love the scenery, Fossa, Red River Hog, Sloth, and Lar Gibbon are amazing. I think part of me not liking it is just because I prefer animal packs and also only one of the new animals have a new rig (Fossa), I was just expecting another to have a new rig like when you compare these animals to the ones in other scenery packs, like instead of the Monitor we couldve got the Shoebill or Tree Kangaroo. But like you said, if you have no expectations, you can't get disapointed and can just be happy with whatever we get. Regardless I am super happy about the Monitor as Frontier always does super well with their reptiles. I'm so curious of what the pack in the summer is gonna be. Its the first time we have an animal pack in the summer. This could fill in the rest of the wishlist like the Porcupine, Secretary Bird, Baboon, Honey Badger, I have a feeling that ones gonna be one of my favourite packs.
the water monitor is basically just a smaller komodo. they could've put any other lizard in there. like Argentine Black and White Tegu. or just any tegu in general. but they decided to add another monitor. at this point they're just adding shit to add shit

Maybe there are barriers or water sections blocking the paths - I added paths first and then I started to build the interior
I think the discontent with the Tropical packs roster is not about whats in it, since all of them are perfectly fine inclusions for such a pack, but whats missing. For me personally I really really wished that they made this an animal pack instead.

Nice work man. You'll be putting in the fossa right. But don't put it in with the lemurs. Separated from the lemurs. Otherwise, the lemurs might get eaten. LOL. Nice work on the Reptile house Facade. It looks so realistic. But when you do put the panda or the hippo in, That would be cool. Especially. The hippos we need. A lot of water. I seen how big those hippos are. They're the most dangerous animal in Africa. Killing 400 people each year. You'll make sure the fence is hippo proof. How do I you don't want them escaping? I cannot wait to see the finished reptile house. With all these different animals in the reptile house, all. All the different. R Reptiles. And all the amphibians are going to put in. It's going to be so sick. When you put the panda in there. It's going to be cool as well. When you get to your bear house, And the primate house will be sick. Nice work.

I'm disappointed in the new pack for two simple reasons. One, I understand why the Sloth is an exhibit animal, but that limits creativity so much, and I believe if Frontier tried they could have created arboreal animal behaviour. If modders can make fish that stay exclusively in th water, Frontier should be able to make a habitat Sloth. Second, when this game stops receiving support, modders will keep it alive, the same way they did for Zoo Tycoon 2. Before that happens I want Frontier to release as many new skeletons and animations as they possibly can. Modders could (and have) made any of the animals in this pack barring the Sloth (can't make new exhibit animals). We could have had a Sifaka with their unique running animation, or, heaven forbid, a bird. I know it's probably the most fraught topic in the community, but a zoo game without flying birds, let alone aquariums, is not a finished game.

Also, if it was a free update I would agree that all the negativity is absurd, but Frontier expects us to pay for these packs. They aren't made out of the goodness of their hearts, it's a transaction, so people have every right to be upset. Some people take it way too far however, I'll admit that.

I think that the sloth makes a total sense for the walkthrough exhibit. I saw them in several zoos and they NEVER move. They are super cool animals to see but they are mostly chilling in one spot and that’s it.
At this point most of the community wants birds and I am more than sure that they are aware of that so I think that they wouldn’t miss that opportunity for a potentially very successful DLC
How and where did you get that snake and iguana statues ?
You need to complete some of the career scenarios. I am not sure which ones but every scenario gives you a statue of a different animal 🤓
