Terrific drumming from Brendan O’Neill (and a very tasty and musical solo at 1:07:53) who along with Gerry lay down the tight rhythm section in this brilliant tribute to the great man Rory Gallagher. Excellent playing all round in a fantastic concert.

Davy Knowles ist ein hervorragend guter Gitarrist! Er ist bestimmt auf Augenhöhe mit Kenny Wayne Shepherd.
Gerry McAvoy ist nach wie vor der „Stimmungsmacher“, man spürt seine unverbrüchliche Energie, von der ersten bis zur letzten Sekunde!
Brendan O‘Neill ist die „Maschine“ im Hintergrund, unverzichtbar und gut!
David Cowan rundet die ganze Musik mit seinen Keyboard Talent ab, so ein Musiker ist Gold Wert!
Wo kann man denn die neuen Lieder hören? Auf welcher CD?, oder Musikportal / Kanal, gibt es diese?
Gerne würde ich mal „Nothing For Nothing“ von BOF hören, das wäre sogar ein „Opener“ für ein Konzert.

@@Bummel176 Wir waren am Dienstag 22. Oktober, im Gdanska, Oberhausen, absolute Spitzenklasse, was Gerry, Brendan und Davy da geleistet haben! Davy Knowles spielt sowas von schnell und gut, es ist ein Muss als Liebhaber von Rorys Musik, diese Band zu erleben!
Der Saal hat gebebt, es war eine hervorragende Stimmung beim Konzert, alle! waren begeistert!

@@littlefreddy673 für mich als Bassist war es ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis, einen meiner Helden so nah zu erleben - noch dazu war es eine "Zeitreise" in meine Jugend, Rock on😎
@@Bummel176 ja, Gerry McAvoy ist ein sehr guter Bassist, bei Rory hat er ja noch mit Plektrum gespielt, damit es härter klingt, heute zupft er, ist absolut in Ordnung, außerdem ist er ein guter Sänger und Komponist, siehe sein Album Can‘t Win‘m All, sowie das schöne Lied „Homeland“, „A Sense of Freedom“ auf dem Album Repeat After Me, auch das neue Album Roll with the Punches ist sehr gut gelungen!
Rory Gallagher habe ich mehrere Male Live gesehen, zweimal im legendären „Rainbow Theatre“ in London, Dezember 1975. Es waren zwei außergewöhnlich gute Konzerte, die ich nie vergessen werde.
@@littlefreddy673 Glückspilz, vor 1990 nur im Rockpalast TV und parallel mitgeschnitten über Radio😉,🧱 nach 1990 waren die Prioritäten erstmal anders gelagert
