REALLY glad you made this guide. I kept telling myself that I would make a guide myself, every time I saw an Oru player misuse their Focus, trying to kill a group of healthy players. Oru can be VERY scary when he wants to be, in terms of damage; he just has a different set-up to that damage than the usual "burst down" method that most of the other characters have. The only thing I wish was added was Oru's counters, because it's not whom most people may think. Yes, assassins are still a problem, especially if you don't have an escape. But anytime I play him, I find long-range heroes to be even worse, as Oru doesn't have the range to deal with them or any way to defend himself, in the same way Mozu or Sven does.
Something to also keep in mind is that the "Quick to Judge" and "Speed Dealer" upgrades for Judgement only apply to targets that DON'T have Judgement already applied to them. If you're going this particular upgrade path, focus more on hitting multiple enemies vs. focusing down one target, so you can get the most value from it. Edit: Also, for his Focus ability, his card burst only does 10 dmg./card during the initial "minigun phase", so try to use it to mark as many targets as possible, instead of bursting only one target down. That being said, it's perfectly acceptable to spite-ult an escaping player, especially slippery ones like Tripp or Imani.
Nice guide! I played one game against you a couple of days ago, I think you can barely see the picaro bay game at the start as the screen was too blurry. I was the volo in the game and it sucked that my entire team left
This is an overall very helpful guide, but you mentioned something I haven't heard much discussion about before. You said it's usually better to use level 1 focus than to let it build up to 3, are there any characters or instances for which you would not consider this to be true?
I'd also make a case for Uncle Sven and Xenobia, as the level of focus determines how long the Focus lasts, which can be the difference between getting a Wound or not, or in the case of Sven, killing a certain target.
@@TheNorthstar235 use your brain an just a simple google of the player count on this game proves you wrong. It couldnt even average over 300 players in the past 30 days. Went from 1500 last month to around 275 this month. What you think next month will be like? Its ok we get it youre a FAN GIRL but get over it its already dead AGAIN.

Oru counters all melees
But is countered by long range, or being focused down

yes, for me ezren is the main one, hes focus is meh, so benefitting from the extra heals u get from a level 2/3 is very good
